My Son has had bad feet since he was a baby. I love that I can talk to the staff at Trufit and get good advice on what shoe would serve him best. They are so friendly and its a no pressure sale. The shoes are worth paying a little more for. Theyre so comfortable!
Sales person took a lot of time and effort with purchase of slippers.
I have been shopping here for a few years,They have been able to solve any shoe problems that I have. The people are absolutely wonderful!I have been shopping for 3 adult family members and tru-fit has met the needs of each of them, my family members always love their shoes!GREAT JOB Tru-Fit!
Great customer service and speedy shoe re-sizing. They even watched how I stand to pick insoles that are tailor fit to my needs and make standing comfortable. Thanks guys!
Had 2 emergency shoe repairs before heading out of state. The owner, Chris, quickly repaired both at a LOWER COST than I had anticipated. He called me about the repair and when they were ready for pick up. Very accommodating, great communication and great work done on my shoes and boots. Saved me a TON of money. Great experience!!
Amazing shoe store! Highly recommend :)
I was very disappointed. I went here intentionally because I wanted to support a locally owned business and was willing to pay more in order to do so. I was shopping 1-2 weeks before Christmas for winter boots as a gift for my mother. The owner was very helpful by pulling most of what they had in her size. As I struggled to decide because I didnt LOVE anything like I hoped to, I was offered 30% off to help make the sale. It was only after I paid and I was handed back my card and receipt did the owner inform me that because she had offered me 30% off there would be no returns. She was fully aware that they were bought for someone else as a gift. If sales are final that should be clearly communicated to customers. Because I felt like this was intentionally left out until I made my purchase I will not be returning here for any further business.
I was having a rough morning when the heel on my nice dress shoe broke off. I had to quickly find a place to get it repaired because I had an event later in the day. I stopped in to Tru-Fit and the owner took good care of it. They even gave me a loaner pair of shoes so that I could go get lunch. The shoe looks great and you could never tell that it had been broken. He even went above and beyond and decided to pin the other shoe, which was not broken, just in case to further secure the sole. It was very cheap and quick! I highly recommend them for shoe repair. They also had a great looking selection of shoes that I did not get to check out.
Chris and his staff are amazing! They are very caring people who truly want your feet to feel good in the shoe you pick! This is a family owned and I would not get shoes any other place.Chris and staff are truly Angels on earth!
Not what I would call good customer service in my opinion. I bought work shoes there (high volume restaurant server) paid close to $120.00 for them and after about 3 months the heel lining wore through so the padding was coming out so I brought them in and talked to the manager who insisted that I must be putting them on and taking them off without untying them and that is why this is happening. After a little convincing that I was not doing that he said he would be willing to repair them if I dropped them off the following Monday he could have them done by end of day. Monday came I brought them in, he told me that he did not remember me and that he never promised to have them done in one day, he finally agreed to do fix them and I got a call in the afternoon to pick them up, then they had the nerve to charge me $20.00 for the repair! Dont think I want to deal with them again or buy that brand of shoe.
The owner Chris was very helpful when I was sold the wrong size and style inserts for my work shoes by one of his employees. He fixed me up and my feet couldn’t be happier! I happily support any Muskegon business with this kind of customer report. Thanks TruFit!
I needed a zipper on my boots fixed, that I bought at their store, the repair person must have thought I didnt need my boots in the middle of winter. They had them for three weeks, I kept checking to see if they were ready, I guess someone finally said something about me wanting my boots back, so instead of taking the time to fix it the right way they did a rush job. Someone called to tell me my boot was ready but didnt leave a message. The only way I knew it was them because of caller ID. I called back and was told no one called me. They pulled the zipper so far down inside the boot that when I walk the zipper is scraping the skin off my heel. I cant wear them. I will not return to their store. I will be telling everyone about how they treated this customer.
Fantastic customer service, if Chris doesnt have what you are looking for on hand he can probably get it.
Chris from Tru-Fit Comfort Shoe Store put new foot-beds on my treasured, vintage, Jerry Garcia Birkenstocks. They are awesome! I live in Grand Rapids and could not find anyone that could/would do it here, but my brother dropped them off in Muskegon on Monday and they are home today! (Wednesday)
My fiancé and I found this gem while visiting on our summer vacation. Great service and nice section of comfy shoes!
Would not recommend them had my boots resoled there and had to reflect both of them
