Came in today for our first dose COVID vaccine and it was super easy . We were helped by Karim the pharmacist and he was so kind and helpful, truly made it a breeze. We drove from another city because this was the closest place we could get a Pfizer vaccine and it was definitely worth the drive.
Well the pharmacist was kind but Vangie was unkind, unprofessional and shamed me for wanting to use Good Rx to save $40.
Ive moved 4x in the past 5 years. Ive had 4 different CVS pharmacies. This is by far the most challenging one. For some reason their policies are different than the other CVS. They cant sync all your prescriptions to be picked up at one time, and more often than not there seems to be some glitch which prevents me from picking up my prescriptions or having to come back later. Never had these kinds of issues at any if the other CVS pharmacies.
Clean store, friendly and helpful staff
FIRST: Below are pics of my CVS receipt from my last (rare) visit. I bought THREE items. My receipt was over THREE FEET LONG. One foot of paper PER ITEM (for the mathematically disinclined 😉) Its a wasteful and annoying practice I wish theyd end. Time to catch up to this centurys technology with receipts and coupons.*SIDE NOTE: If you need a good laugh... go Google CVS Receipt Costume. Go do it. NOW. 😂My visit to this CVS was just like every CVS Ive been to; every day items are WAY overpriced compared to... well... anywhere. You can get most of the same products for cheaper at Walgreens, Dollar Tree, or .99 Cents Only store (which isnt .99 Cents only anymore, but still cheaper.) Theyve added some more upscale hair & beauty products, which are way overpriced like everything else. Nothing special about CVS that justifies their prices. I buy higher quality hair and bath products online, or Sally Beauty, Walgreens, even Ross or TJ Maxx at a fraction of the price. This store was like the other CVS stores Ive visited: dirty and disorganized. The cashier area is confusing - where does the line start or end?? Its crowded with junk up front. LOTS of junk. Not much room for customers. Do we form ONE line? Or get in separate lines at each cashier stand thats open? It varies. No signs. For pharmacy customers: If you have any major surgeries in your future, or if youre a chronic pain patient, or have pain from cancer or another debilitating disease, CVS now limits any pain medications to a 7 DAY supply. However well-intentioned this decision may be, it only serves to make life exponentially more difficult for legit patients who are disabled, sick, injured, and/or chronic pain patients... regardless of how many years that individual has been a customer without a single red flag on their Rx history. The policy is based on the MYTH that chronic pain patients are the cause of and the major contributor to the opioid epidemic and overdose deaths. The data shows this is not true. I have two family members who are in Chronic Pain. One has permanent injuries sustained in military service, and one has had several reconstructive surgeries due to advanced stage Cervical Cancer. Both take pain meds responsibly. It allows them to function and participate somewhat in their own lives. And respite from chronic pain is invaluable. Both felt scrutinized and judged as treated as drug seekers or junkies by CVS pharmacy... despite having been CVS pharmacy customers for YEARS. And despite their well-known medical issues. Both have since switched to an independent local pharmacy where they dont feel judged & mislabeled- on top of everything else- every time they fill medications prescribed by their doctor. The same doctor theyve had for years. But if CVS wants to alienate their long-time customers... thats their choice. Just know what youre in for.
I find a lot of these one stars to be fake. I’ve been going to this pharmacy for 25 years and always have received exceptional service. If there are several people in line they always add additional help, you never have to wait very long to pick up a prescription. If you don’t like waiting go there during off peak hours, Sundays are the best time.I find everyone that works there to be very friendly and helpful. So about the coupon receipt, you get those at ALL the CVS stores not just the Hancock location.Yes it is a smaller store but keep in mind it’s been there forever and recently remodeled. There have been many times I walk in and they don’t say hello to me because they’re busy, they’re not racist there.I don’t know why people can’t be nice, mistakes happen everywhere.
Good service
Worst customer service! My boyfriend who is African American just walked in there, people at the front did not even say good morning... but a white lady who walked in right after him of course got one...then while at the register the lady was being extremely rude to him...and he’s not one to be rude back... so at the end of the transaction he told her “have a good day”, and she just said “sure” in a rude way... MONICA is the name on the receipt... I NEVER go the extra mile to sign into my account here and write a review and he would never but this just made me extremely upset!!! I hope someone from management sees this and has a one on one with MONICA!
It seems that their prescription policies are different than other CVS locations. Ive never had issues with refilling prescriptions untill I moved all of mine to this location. And I was treated with indifference and near rudness when tried to inquire and was dismissed when I brought the issue up. Not very customer friendly.
Good customer, like Paul/ Nichelle, very nice human being.
The pharmacy is usually quick and very helpful. The stores cashiers are friendly but sometimes let the line get too long before calling for assistance. For the most part its a good store with a good staff.
There’s a Spanish lady that works in the pharmacy that is borderline unapproachable. She’s rude, flat, and a bit snide. I have no idea why. But if she doesn’t like her job, she needs to find a new one. I go to another CVS now because it literally gives me anxiety to think about having to interact with that negative energy again. Maybe it’s the color of my skin or my appearance that triggers her to be so nasty.
I went in for my medication was waiting for almost an hour at 8:30 pm she told me she can only give me one cause the other ones aren’t gnna be ready by the time they close they close at 9 she couldn’t tell me sooner she had me waiting for almost an hour now I have to come back tomorrow
There isnt much this store doesnt screw up.I would complain but my fingers would be hurting.Pretty much if you like being neglected, harassed by Robo calls, and left on the back burner for pretty much everything related to the pharmacy then this is the store for you! I however will be switching to a more efficient one, one that can actually figure out how to sync my meds....
I find for each location its a hit or miss unless a small group of employees with longevity in one business. People are human some days they get cranky or lose the ability to see our way, despite trying to conduct themselves in a manner befitting a business. Always get 2 or 3 tries.... if still disatidied then pound out a review with heavy impact of three seperate occasions. Im neither pro nor con to customer or store... just fair. I just moved over here from. Riverside and wasnt happy with the ladys tone on the phone but. Hey Im having a crap day too. Im going in next lets see how that goes.
Very nice store, very friendly employees.
Always seemed to have a problem! My Dr would ok my prescriptions & 8 out 10 times they would say they never heard from them. Now they think theyre Drs. They have no clue of my medical history or the disease Im fighting. Theyve now decided they dont want to fill my meds because what Im taking is too strong! How the hell would they know that? If my Dr prescribes them than obviously its to help. Who do they think they are?
Always a friendly store, the people are very nice and I have never had any problem what so ever!!!! Great place to go!!!!
The pharmacist could care less that I was out of my meds with new insurance after I had been told by both the Ins co and CVS that my rx was ready. I wont deal with him again. Dismissive. Uncaring. He should find a new field
I have been using this pharmacy for some years, and I find the pharmacists and employees helpful and cooperative.
I drive out of my way to avoid this cvs to get perspiration filled. My doctor called it over then I got a call from cvs that it was ready for pick. When I went over to pick it up they said the didnt here anything from my doctors office. This happened 3 times in one week for the same prescription. I actually talked with some one and had them physically verify my prescription was there so I got there on my lunch break and guess what.....not there. Screw these guys.
Well stocked and courteous, efficient service.
