I just moved to Murrieta and was looking for a place to buy my silver. I found Chaparral coin & gun on Google after I had tried other shops that just ended up being pawn shops. My experience at Chaparral coin & gun was awesome. They were nice I told them I was looking for silver and the guy let me know what he had and the price which was what I was paying at my local coin shop were I use to live. I came here to buy some silver coins. I called in advance and got the prices. I didn’t have to wait long (must gotten lucky) and a lady helped me out (sorry didn’t get your name) right away. She didn’t rush me and we had a pleasant conversation. I came with the 8 year old daughter and 11 year old son and our overall experience was positive. I recommend them if you are looking to buy silver coins. Got me some maples!

HORRIBLE: Lacking customer service skills, basic skills that is. Man answers the phone, rudely talking to other people while taking my call, refusing to look up the item I called about. Then after waiting for his manner-less self to finally get some information, he rudely shouts about transferring the call to another employee because he has no clue how to!I get rudely transferred to “Johnny” who I leave a voice mail for: 5 hours later I call back, the woman who answers attempts to help, only to tell me the item sold. Wow.

For guns and coins this is the place. This family ownedbusiness rates a five star ++ on everything. Very Friendly and so knowledgeable on what they sell. If you have questions you will get a straight forward answer, without beating around the bush. This was my first time in this store. Ended up buying a few coins and ammo. Great prices on everything. I highly recommend this business. I will return. GREAT

They also resell them at competitive prices so if youre in the market to buy, this is where you go. Not a place to sell your coins to. Theyll tell you theyre worthless regardless of what they are unless theyre gold or sterling. They are essentially a pawn shop that has coins to sell, but really only want precious metals from desperate folks to get over on. Just saying.
