Have been in this store twice now to see if they had exactly what I was wanting/needing.. Clyde is awesome and very helpful!! Heather was very rude and didnt seem to interested in helping me. I asked her a question she treated me like I was bothering her and said I dont know then I noticed she was on her cell phone so guess I was bothering her Im sure she didnt even notice that another customer walked out and took their business somewhere else!!

During a pandemic, most businesses have been somewhat of a support while equally understanding that its still a service/business they provide, and we as consumers pay for in turn. As a customer I understood that fully. I managed to keep my account current and floating due to the manager expressing his knowledge of the worlds current state. And as long as I communicate any issues then hed be more than happy to accommodate. I was furloughed, and had to find work abruptly. And in success of a new job I found out recently I had paid more into my rental agreement than expected! Since the beginning of COVID, the communication totem has severely lacked. News of a credit towards a rental agreement you thought you were behind on would be beneficial to know? And I thought she said I had SIGNED for bi-weekly payments? Only to reveal she switched the contract to weekly to better convenience her percentage for the week. Realistically, because no notation within my account was ever transpired as requested per management. Leaving fingers to be pointed aimlessly. Today, was my 2nd attempt to make a payment. 1st one being this past weekend over the phone. But management was out of town and would contact and review my account on Monday. Payment with addition to my credit on file was denied. Due to the amount not being what she deemed appropriate. Specifically by the assistant rep not wanting to adhere to the managers decision in okaying partial payments of getting my account current. I asked for some type of proof that we did indeed both witness her denying payment again. Since once your account shows no communication or payment it becomes a legal issue that I felt she was setting me up for. So I asked for a verbal or written statement in absence of the store manger. She said that wouldnt be necessary since I opted to only speak with the store manager, even though I had a fully capable Assistant before me. I denied, and asked again. Not shortly after, she threatened me with a call to police. And enlightened me that my address was on file so she would send them to my house, in combination of escorting me to my car to note my license plate so she had an accurate description of my whereabouts. I asked for her District Managers number, to which she did give. Hopefully theres a proper way to handle this a bit more tactfully.

I walked in and turned around and walked out..I have bought furniture before at another local furniture store in murfreesboro and stopped going there because of Heather now to walk in and see her at rent a center..no thanks..ill take my business elsewhere.. fyi..u might wanna do some research before u hire people.. last time I was in the other store i asked if she still worked there and i was informed she no longer was there due to her stealing furniture..BEWARE.

Heather was EXTREMELY rude! I pay for my first week, I ordered online, and was going to pick it up today. I get a call and the address they used was wrong, so I told them my actual address and, even after I paid and was coming to get the computer, they told me that they don’t rent out to people who live in hotels (I live in an efficiency owned by a hotel, I don’t live in the hotel) and that she’d refund me the money. I tried to explain that and Heather was super rude. Never again will I use rentacenter. Because of Heather.

I have never been in a Rent a Center before so I thought I would give it a shot.. instantly when i walked in the store heather was yelling at a little girl guessing her daughter to go to the back of the store and to stop it!! Thought ok..very unprofessional but I kept looking..i had a few questions and heather had no answers..not only that but she never offered to find the answers out for me.. i finally told her nevermind and looked around alil more when I glanced over she was on her personal phone and not showing me or the other customer in the store any attention.. her whole attitude was like I was an incovience to her.. definitely didnt feel welcomed or wanted there..so needless to say i left without purchasing anything and with a very bad experience..i will NOT be back.. i suggest the company give more training to the employees on the merchandise and to let it be known that it is a place of business NOT a daycare and you might want to be more selective with you have dealing with the public and who represents your company...

I will NEVER come back to this store or refer anyone as well!! I have NEVER met anyone so rude and unprofessional as Heather. Heather had a nasty attitude and acted like we were bothering her when we were looking and had questions.. She also stunk with a very strong cigarette and musty smell (not the best when dealing with public and having to talk to customers) She stayed on her phone and was very loud and cussing! I have NEVER been treated so bad at a store like this.. After reading your reviews I can see that Im not the only one who has had a bad experience with Heather. I cannot understand how a company would want someone like her dealing with customers.

The manager refused to deliver my furniture because I asked the status of my delivery. He said this is his store and he can decide to deliver it or not so hes going to keep my sofa and loveseat. Awful and unprofessional staff all around.

I had a recliner break in early December 2020, I called and the lady said she’d talk to her boss about getting someone out to fix it. I’ve called numerous times, she said she’d call back about it and never did. There still hasn’t been anyone come out to fix my chair. Horrible customer service and cheaply made products. It’s been almost 2 whole months.

Heather is the ONLY reason I take my business there. Usually shes the only one in the store working phones, customers and inventory. If they dont have what Im looking for, she lets me know when they get it. She does an amazing job considering shes always alone there.

I have to say Im half and half on this place. Heather was the worst most unprofessional person Ive ever met. She has a horrible attitude and is rude to the extreme. The guys delivering my stuff were knowledgeable and caring and understanding. They need more like them.

I give them one star for talking to me. They to high lots of places much cheaper. Find a place washer and dryer 20 a week for both good brand. Rent a center that much for one. Tv 35 a week. The other place same tv 20

I have done a lot of business with rent-a-centerThis one by far is the worst customer service I have ever gotten. The people are rude the employees have there children running around the store and yelling at them while I was doing my paperwork. Total disappointment

The people who work in this store are card carrying idiots. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and even for an appliance rental store in the ghetto, they are the very worst of the worst. Never never never do business with this location.
