Once again, I took my laptop in because I couldnt figure it out on my own. Everyone is fabulous. I met Zach behind the counter. I told him my problem. I felt stupid not being able to figure it out, but Zach was kind, patient, and knew what to do. He stayed with me and helped implement the “quick fix.” Service and attitude us is important. Zach did a phenomenal job. Yes, I recommend Quick Fix.

I had a minor laptop issue where the chargers tip broke off and was stuck in the charging port. As I didnt have the right tool to try to pull out, I sought out for a place via Google map, which had a very nice reviews. Just returned from the place where I went through the check-in upon which Jim took the laptop to figure out how to get it out. Well, less than 5 mins thereafter, Jim came as he was successful in getting it out. I was happy and wanted to pay as appropriate. He said it didnt take anything special and thus will not not charge anything. The positive/good comments of other reviews are true. I wouldnt hesitate to bring my IT products for repair here! Slow with customer handling, i just needed to pick up my computer parts and took them 30 mins. Watchout when they gave me my computer parts it was still disassembled and i had to put it back myself. I dont mind putting it back just incsse if you dont know how to put it back then you may be able to ask them nicely.

Ive worked in high tech for decades, and I know good work when I see it. In the 90s, I built a computer from scratch, but it was easy then. I wouldnt try to fix my own computers now because they are so much more complicated, so thats why I was happy to find Oscar Juarezs Quick Fix. I have a lot of old computers that might still be useful.A few months ago, Oscar and his support engineers repaired an shaky Acer Chromebook for me, and just recently they have given my very old Dell XPS-13 a second life as a Linux laptop. Its given me a welcome alternative to Ubuntu on the wonky Windows Subsystem for Linux, and its working great.Quick Fix does great work quickly and at a reasonable cost. I recommend this business highly, and will probably end up making use of their expertise again myself.

The staff at this store is super nice and professional! My Lenovo laptop cant start after showing blue screen. After a free diagnosis, the staff identified that there was an issue with motherboard. They provided multiple solutions to either fix the issue or help get the data backed up. The staff finally helped to pull out my hard drive and put it into my hard drive case, such that I can continue to access the data on it and use the hard drive as a portable drive. This service was done within minutes. I strongly recommend this store. I will definitely choose the store next time if I have any issue with my devices.

These guys are amazing. I came in with a custom build and a very difficult interface issue between an old motherboard and a CPU that wouldnt cooperate. They did a great job on the repairs to my computer! I came with just about 2 weeks left in the country, panicking about whether I would be able to have the computer repaired in time for my departure. The guys at Quick Fix took my computer, diagnosed the issues in under 2 days, and had it repaired within 3 days of my leaving. The computer works great and looks phenomenal, so 10/10- job very well done and in great time too (despite some parts-shipping delays). My MacBook battery needed replacing, and after seeing videos on how much work it is to get at and unglue, I decided to have a professional do it.They have a website that makes it easy to create and monitor your repair ticket. After payment, the ordered the battery that took a few days to come in. I dropped my Mac off in the morning and it was ready to pick up after lunch. Perfectly done and only out of commission for a few hours.The people there were very professional and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to use them again. Highly recommended!

I was dealing with a striped screw when i was replacing my macbook display that I couldnt seem to remove for the sake of god. Since I had no luck with several diffrent ways i tried to remove the screw with, I then decided to not wanna deal with it and get a help from someone with more expertise. the technician here got the job done in a matter of a minute on the spot without even charging for it. Quick is right there in the name and they definitely delivered! My phone wasnt taking a charge and I needed to transfer photos to the cloud. They were able to get my nearly dead battery to almost 50% in minutes. Lifesavers!!

My HP laptop screen went dark (not black, butvas if the brightness was turned all the way down), which made it a pain to do any work unless my nose was on the screen (and really hard to find the cursor). I brought itvin to Quick Fix in Mountain View, and Oscar told me they could do a free diagnostic over 3 days, or I could get same day service for $49. I needed the laptop tonight for some patient interactions, and really needed it first thing in the AM for an important 3 hour zoom meeting. So I paid the $49, and it was the best $49 I ever spent! They diagnosed a loose display cable, fixed it, and I had my laptop by 5:15. Oscar and Quick Fix are the real deal! They will be my ho to computer IT folks from now on.

Quick Fix has been repairing our laptops and PCs for the past 10 years. This time in October, Quick Fix helped fixing our burnt out PCs power supply as well as the graphics card. My husband and I worked with Oscar, Zack and James. We were really thankful and impressed by their responsiveness and professional attentiveness to repairing my PC, which has an older operating system. Quick Fix also reinstalled the operating system for my other PC. Second time Ive visited to have my PC laptop battery repaired since it started bulging. They fixed the same problem before on another laptop perfectly. They do a comprehensive investigation since this time they also found another issue with the battery charging. They suggested a less expensive fix that got the laptop powering on, which is all I really need. Great advice, great service, and friendly honest folks! Had liquid damage to my laptop - they ended up successfully fixing the damage- my laptop is now good as new, and I am very happy! :) However, there were scratches left on my laptop that were not there before - so I’d assume if I’m dropping $500 on my laptop, they would at least make sure not to get scratches on it. They need to definitely work on their customer service - and fix this issue of treating the outer hardware poorly and leaving scratches while working on your gadgets.

This place is neither a quick or a fix for computers. Brought in my MacBook Air hoping for a quick diagnostic; it took all weekend and then some. When I finally got the call back, I was told they needed to replace keyboard and ribbon wire just in case they both shorted during my completely and unfortunate coffee spilling event. I figured it made sense and I desperately needed my laptop back so I agreed to the repairs and waited until the weekend to finally pick up my laptop. When I was finally able to pick up my laptop they didnt even bother to do a checkup in front of me to prove the keyboard was working properly. Being the usual trustworthy, and unfortunately naive, person that I am I took my laptop home, cracked my fingers and prepared myself to write the essay that I desperately needed to finish just to realize my keyboard still was not working right. The space button would get stuck, the tab button was completely lifted off and certain keys did not work. Disappointed, I brought my laptop back since they did offer a warranty policy. I explained the issue to the guy behind the counter. He didnt even apologize for the shortcomings of his coworkers and took a long hard look at the keyboard to make sure I wasnt pulling his leg. He took the laptop in and told me he would work on it. Three days later he called and I picked up the laptop. He said he had fixed the keyboard himself and had verified that it worked. I was excited! A worker who actually cares about his job, amazing! Well, learning from my previous experience I decided to actually turn on the laptop and test every single individual key to make sure I didnt have to comeback yet again. The keyboard worked great! However, there was now an issue with my laptop; there was a glitch on the screen. When I opened up chrome to use the keyboard checker online I noticed this glitch I thought maybe chrome was acting funny so I restarted the browser and it was still there. Huh, interesting... I pointed out the issue to the guy who had just fixed my laptop and he looked rather annoyed by my presence or my pleads for help even after I had already paid them about 70% of the original price of my MacBook Air. He looked at the problem and was puzzled by it. He did some troubleshooting and concluded there was an OS issue that could be easily taken care of. Oh man, finally! He fixed the OS issue, I verified everything was working well and then I went home finally after almost four weeks. I guess Quick Fix Computer Services and I do not necessarily see eye to eye with the definition of the word quick. One last thing, I realized as I drove home that neither tech behind the counter cared to even turn on my laptop to run a quality assurance test after they had replaced the damaged components. This theory is completely based on the fact that both times I picked up my laptop I encountered an issue that wouldve been rather noticeable by anybody who cared enough to do a quality check on the services they provide. Anyway, lesson of this experience is to never come back to this place.

Definitely not a quick fix. I brought my 2-month old laptop in because it was slow. Paid $25 extra for the express diagnostic service and was promised a call the next day. 4 days later I finally get a call from Oscar that my laptop needed a new $180 motherboard. Really? Okay, fine. Waited nearly a month to get my computer back — no phone call, no updates — and when I did, I couldn’t even log into my account. Turns out, neither could they. And the whole time, they never asked for the password. Then how do you know your repair was the right one when you couldn’t even verify the result? Nice fix guys. Never again.

Very happy with these guys. Computer was crashing. Blue screen. They took it in, diagnosed that one of the hard drives was failing (which I knew was true as i had seen the same in boot up for a year) replaced it, and that it was heavily infected and they cleaned it up. Very reasonable price. Got it home and a couple days later it crashed again. They took it back and ran tests and further virus scrubbing for several days. No extra charge. Said it passed all stress tests so hardware was good but if it happened again it meant there was a virus they couldnt find and would have to reinstall OS. Since I got it back have had no more problems. Three days later they called me to check to make sure it was all ok. Great service!

Motherboard finally completely failed. Brought computer in--by complete chance, they had an extra motherboard that would work and fixed it that same day. I was amazed. These guys are awesome!!! My phone (LG Nexus 5) got broken and they were the only ones who could fix it. Before Quick Fix I went to 3 different repair shops In Mountain View area and they couldnt even say what exactly happened with the phone!!

After spilling water all over my macbook airs keyboard, I took it to the apple store. They pretty much told me the only fix was to send it to get completely redone, and that it would cost $750. I decided to explore other options and found this place. The diagnostic cost $65, which I found kind of expensive, especially because it doesnt go towards the actual repair. However, they were able to fix my computer in just a few days for $450, which was much better than $750. My computer seems to be completely fixed, and hopefully it will stay this way. Overall, I am very satisfied! There is also a 90 warranty after getting it fixed.

Brought my MacBook Pro in after some liquid damage and was quoted $950, around $250 less than the Apple Store offered. They didnt fully repair my computer though, leaving a keyboard issue. Service was friendly and communicative, but I would have definitely paid $250 more for a fully functioning computer.Update: My computer has progressively deteriorated after 9 months of use and now will barely turn on. I assume the root cause of everything was a shoddy repair. Would not recommend coming here.

PS. I got some serious issue with my Macbook after QuickFixs repair service, but we are in the process of resolving. Hope it will be solved successfully.

I love this place! when ever I have a problem with my phone or laptop I always take it there. Taz takes really good care of his customers. He is always patient and a good listener. This place is always has people coming in and out. I have no complaints.

I have had repairs done here twice. $125 to have a bad cap replaced in my cheap-ass yamakasi monitor. Troubleshooting is free if you are willing to wait a few days. Also convenient.

I found Quick Fix Computer Service to be completely honest and forth right. On more than one occasion where only a minor quick fix to my lap top computer was warranted, the service was performed at no charge.

My old desktop PC was not booting up so I took it to them for repair. They had it for 3 days and could not find anything wrong after all their tests. Apparently the problem was a USB storage device that I disconnected before I gave it to them. I found that the storage drive also caused similar boot-up problems to my laptop. Quick Fix agreed that this was probably the problem and did not charge me anything! Free diagnosis if they dont have to report problem in 1 or 2 days.

These guys are great. They were the only ones who could fix my Thinkpad Tablet 2 cracked screen. But after they replaced the screen, the touch sensor went bad in a few days. They refunded my entire money back for the new screen as the touch sensor was not replaceable. I dont have a working touch screen any longer but I appreciate their gesture.

The person there fixed my fan issues in front of me and said they wouldn’t charge me since it would only take a minute or so. If you’re reading this James I’ll pay you back on Friday since the fan has stopped making noises and because you already did the work.

Great quick and honest service.

OVERVIEW: Capable and friendly but can be sloppy.STORY: Quick FIx replaced a broken LCD screen on my Samsung S4. Quoted most reasonable price in the MV PA area. Rami and Thanh are polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Screen was not in stock and had to be ordered. 2 days later when the replacement part arrived I got an email to drop-off my phone. Handed over S4 at 10am and was told Thahn the tech doesnt start until 11am (forgot Rami told me this earlier) so I would need to leave the phone and pick up later. 12:30 got email phone was ready for pick-up. Picked up phone and was happy to see screen worked. Got back to office and realized the vibrator no longer worked. I did a Google search and found that when you replace an LCD module the old vibrator needs to be reused - Quick Fix forgot this step. Bummer. After a quick Google search I learned the fix was fairly easy. So in 15 minutes I did the vibrator replacement myself (thank you YouTube). I called Quick FIx to tell him of the error. Rami apologized and thanked me for letting him know. BTW, when I picked up my phone I asked to have the old part back (Im a mechanical engineer and love to study that kind of stuff). Good thing I did as the vibrator was still attached and I would have had to drive back to the store to have them make the fix (didnt want to spend another 30 minutes driving there when it was easy enough to fix the problem myself). Lastly, when I went to do the repair myself I removed the battery pack and saw all kinds of adhesive residue on the new part. I assume this was leftover from a label that was on the replacement part. I fell that Thanh should have been more professional and tidy and spent the 2-3 minutes to clean off the inside of the phone. I used a paper towel and denatured alcohol to wipe off the gooey mess. I then, used a razor blade to transfer the label from the old screen to the new one (yet another misfire by Quick Fix as this label has the important IMEI, Model, and SKU numbers).SUMMARY: Did what they were supposed to do but forgot an important step and should have been tidier. Would try them again but definitely be sure to get old parts and check their work thoroughly before you pay and leave the store.

I went there to get the screen of my laptop fixed and it took 8 days. I had my parents pick it up because i was out of town and they returned it without the battery!!!! So i called the manager and he said i could swing by that evening and pick up the battery, but i got their at our scheduled time and he totally bailed on me. He said some bs like, oh im with a client. Shouldnt the costumer come first in a business?Thus, i feel like the quality of work was superb but the customer service was on par with some of the worst such as Frys. I dont recommend it because its pricey and for the price that you pay i feel you should atleast have a friendly experience.
