Cute little coffee shop with interesting options. I tried the iced turmeric latte with oat milk and my friends had latte and cappuccino. We all enjoyed our drinks but I think mine could’ve used slightly more turmeric. Definitely recommend this place.

This coffee shop is small but very cute!! They currently dont have indoor seating, but they do have a few tables outdoors. I got an iced ube latte w oat milk and it was pretty good, but a little sweet for my taste. I have also gotten an iced cinnamon honey latte w oat milk from here and it was pretty average tasting. The staff are attentive and kind, and the atmosphere is lively and hip!

Wonderful choice for a party event!we invited 1 OZ to tell us about the coffee culture and to experience coffee tasting. everything was done professionally and sharply organized, cozy and stylish, clean and safe =) we didn’t have to worry about anything - the organizers came, set everything up and at the end packed everything up discreetly and neatly.all of our guests were amazed by how much these young women love what they do! we all fell in love with their passion for coffee making and high standards of services1 OZ is not only the best coffee in the Valley, but also the coziest catering and event company!

Nice place with great vibes, coffee is good if you like latte, I am myself an espresso type of gal and it was gross. The espresso was bitter, salty and it had no natural foam that usually happens when you brew it (i do not recommend buying espresso here) however I tried a latte and it was better than Starbucks. I would give it a 5 stars but the espresso was a dissatisfaction.

The best coffee spot in the valley. Skillful baristas making top notch espresso based drinks. Tends to get very busy during peak hours, as all the coffee enthusiasts flock here to get their fix. Yesterday all pastries ran out early on, and I sent them an email giving feedback, to which they immediately responded that they’re gonna make sure there are enough pastries next time! Excellent customer service all around.

I tried the Affogato here. Unlike most cafes where they would have options of vanilla or hazelnut, they had pistachio gelato and that took the affogato to a whole new amazing level! ❤️ must try! It’s a cozy little cafe 2 blocks away from the crowded part of castro street so quiet and calm and you would get parking easily here

My go to coffee place in Mountain View. They also have a great selection of whole beans to take home! The offer most of those roasts for pour over on site and I have never been disappointed. When I am feeling particularly indulgent I get an affogato, which is absolutely delicious. On top of all this the staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their beans. Plus they have had plenty of outdoor seating during COVID.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon to do some work and I really loved it! The service was a bit slow since they were busy but the latte art was great and my favorite was definitely the ube latte since it had quite a sweet taste but also had such a unique flavor. The wifi was fast and the outdoor seating was nice and shady. Would come again.

One of the best third-wave coffeehouses in the South Bay. Professional baristas, friendly staff, casual vibes and great music—all on top of the precisely-pulled espresso shots, finished by thoughtfully crafted, perfectly executed latte art in every cup of their coffee. The quote painted on their window, “Sip the life, 1 oz at a time,” faithfully portrays how I feel whenever I come here. I think they’re at the top of their game, and I hope they continue to thrive and succeed in their vision of transforming the coffee culture, adding authenticity and passion in every drop.

For third wave enthusiasts, 1 oz has a rotating guest roaster selection, which is fairly unique in the South Bay. They’ve sold and prepared Onyx, Black & White, Brandywine, and many other fantastic roasters, which is nice for those that don’t spend a lot of time ordering coffee online. I’ve been here at least 100 times and have had a good experience every time. Would easily put this in competition for the best shop in the area with their experienced baristas.

Love the coffee and the cozy feel to this place. The baristas are great and know how to make a coffee just the right way and deliver quality service. Beans make a difference and they use good ones but how to balance the milk proportion is equally important and they do it very well. They have delicious pastries and love their chia pudding as well (runs out quickly over the weekend). Its slightly away from the main hub on Castro but that also means you can find parking relatively easily.

Is this place delicious? Yes.But note that youll need to park in side streets and walk over. Lines do move slow but the drinks itself are super tasty. The croissant flakes beautifully and I could feel the layers of butter. My favorite drink would be the honey cinnamon latte which was not overly sweet!Be wary of the price. This is not your local coffee shop price.

Only bad thing about trying to enjoy a lazy weekend morning by visiting your local coffee shop is that everyone has the same idea as you do lol. So when we came to 1 Oz, the line was out the door, couldnt even fit everyone into the shop so we had to stand outside for a couple of mins before we could even get in. But after reaching the front, the gentleman at the register was super apologetic for the long wait (nice that he acknowledged it but obviously had no control over it), and then happily helped us by explaining their different types of pastry options. I wanted the matcha croissant, but they were unfortunately out and had to settle for their baklava croissant, though which he explained was actually one of their more popular pastries (they also carry Third Culture bakery mochi donuts for those interested!) For coffee, I was feelin something sweet so I went with their cinnamon honey latte.Presentation wise, coffee and pastries are served on an attractive wooden boards. And the coffee turned out to be really good! They brew Vertigo Coffee Roasters from San Juan Bautista, which roasts some quality beans. Latte tasted like a chai latte, but with coffee, honey added a nice touch, not overly sweet. Baklava croissant was also actually really good too, filling had a sweet, walnuty taste, glad I ended up getting it! Overall, this place does coffee and pastries right, not to mention friendly and courteous service!

Friendly service. Delicious espresso; certainly the best Ive come across in Mountain View. Prices are fair. As far as food goes, theres a limited selection of pastries from Alexanders, granola + yogurt and some cookies. The poor guy that served us was on his own and trying to juggle everything, but he did a great job, and he apologized to every customer for the (minimal) wait.Theyve only recently opened, so its clear that theyre still getting set up. They seem to be off to a great start though!

I would give this place 5 stars if using metric instead of imperial system. 🤣But despite being a big fan of international unit system, Im also a fan of good coffee, and coffee here is good for sure. My cortado (or is it call Gibraltar?) was good and very smooth.Maybe cortado is in meters, kilograms and liters but Gibraltar in inches, pounds and gallons? Never thought on that before.

A lovely artisan coffee shop that is cozy and welcoming. The coffee roast has that little extra flavor, that little better latte art, those little more generous smiles. The seating may be a problem sometimes with a few (among many) laptop users hoarding spaces, but then those few hoarders have plagued all cafes alike. Other than that I was surprised to see some genuine conversations happening over coffee, which was a delight to see.

Wow, awesome coffee selection and good baristas. I had a cup of pour over, an Ethiopian roast from Devout. It tasted amazing, super flavorful. Pretty bold opening this spot next door to Starbucks, but I’m assuming they’re targeting the serious coffee drinkers. You can go to Starbucks for sugary drinks and WiFi. This spot is small so it seems to be meant for people on the go, or if you’d like to sit or stand and talk for a bit over a cup.

This place lives up to the hype! Its in a good location (a block away from busy part of Castro). The place is small but nice. To be honest, I loved going to this place every weekend to relax and work, but the one time I decide not to give a tip, the guy makes me a 3/4 full drink with severely over-burnt coffee.
