Fast, knowledgeable. Not sure about price as thats where we bring company vehicles for service

I have had an electrical overload issue which has ruined the alternator for over 4 years and finally this Mechanic resolved my issue within just one day and I havent had any problems since. The owner is straightforward and provides quality work on a timely fashion. I definitely recommend him over other mechanics.

Integrity above sales and profit. Love this business!I brought my Mazda over for a brake pad replacement on my front tires as it was described as “urgently required” by the Fremont Mazda service centre people. As per their “evaluation”, the brakes had almost worn out with less than 3mm left. They also quoted me a total of ~$500 to replace them. I decided to take a second option and brought it over to Driven auto care. The good folks over here checked and found that the brakes were at >5mm and didn’t need any replacement for at least another year.I was pleasantly surprised to see a auto repair shop being so honest and putting integrity over a potential sale/profit. Had they told me that I did need to perform the replacement, I would have done it without batting an eyelid because I don’t know anything about car internals. They didn’t take advantage of my naivety and also didn’t charge me for the inspection even though I was persistent about paying for labor for the inspection.This is how a honest business is run.You have earned a customer for life (or at least for as long as I live in the Bay Area)

Update:I was here today again. This time, I stopped by to get regular maintenance service done. Making an appointment was very smooth. Paul started working on my car on time and was done in about 20 minutes. (I used to wait for over 2 hours at a Honda dealer for a simple service.) I am very pleased with the service. The fee was also very reasonable. Paul did not try to talk me into anything. Very straight forward. I am glad I finally found a place I can keep returning to for any of my car care.--------------------------------------------I was here today, and I want to thank Paul for his honesty. I came in to address an issue with my car, but Paul took a quick look at it and said it was not a problem I thought it was (which could have costed hundreds of dollars). It turns out it was something I can easily fix. So I walked out in 2 minutes and without spending any money.I am seriously considering changing my auto service provider to Driven Auto Care. In the 2 minute conversation, I had the impression Paul was a very honest and sincere person.

Paul is an honest mechanic. He would always tell me what repairs are really needed and which ones I could delay or dont do at all.If youre looking for a place that wont trick you into unnecessary work this is it.

I took my Mazda 3 to Paul after Oak Tree Madza told me that brake fluid needs to be urgently changed during 50,000 miles service. It would cost be $160.00. During my 45,000 miles service the brake fluid was marked green and suddenly in 5000 additional miles it was red, urgent change. I thought to take second opinion. Paul showed the brake fluid of my car and it was clean and clear. He said fluid change is only needed when it turns black. With newly manufacture car brake fluid change is not even needed by manufacturers for years. Thanks Paul for your honest guidance.

Honest and saved me $750.Got an oil change at a different shop and was told I would need to replace my axle due to a leak for $750. I decided to go to Driven Auto Care after a recommendation from a coworker and could not be happier with them.Paul took a look, free of charge, and found absolutely nothing wrong with the car. He even took the time to show me what I would see if something did need replacing.Next time I need work done, I am definitely coming here first.

I started going to Driven Auto Care a little over a year ago and have been very impressed with the quality of the service. It is easier to make an appointment and the car is always ready when promised. Most importantly, Paul does not try to sell you on service you do not need and is very above board about the condition of the vehicle and what, if anything, needs to be done.

I worked as a mechanic when I was younger so Im a pretty good judge of car repair shops. Paul is honest and good. Hes extremely knowledgeable and his charges have always been very fair and competitive. He focuses on fixing only what needs to be fixed and doesnt try to to upsell a more extensive repair than needed. Ive used Driven Auto Care for years and everyone I have referred to them has been very pleased with the work. I highly recommend them.

I have taken my Honda here a few times for service. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Even when I had an issue they couldnt fix they recommended another great service center that could.
