This review is strictly for the bakery department. If you are looking for a good cakes and consistent product hit up Whole Foods, Morristown. I have bought multiple cakes for family birthdays, gatherings, and sometimes something will catch my eye. I highly recommend tiramisu cake, chocolate mousse cake, and strawberry shortcake (only during the summer when berries are in season).Their cakes are great in a pinch or you are craving a yummy treat. Happy eating!!

What is the deal with this whole foods? its extremely unorganized and confusing. Also I went on the whole foods app and then check the prices on the shelves and shredded cheese for example is 4.99 here however on the app its 3.99 so why are they charging so much higher prices than other whole foods. I noticed this with a couple of other products I normally shop at whole foods in Ridgewood New Jersey. There are also missing a lot of the items that the other whole foods stores have. I honestly did not like my experience here and I also noticed that the employees seem extremely miserable. They dont offer any hot bar options or cook food options and I just feel like its not the whole foods experience that you normally have.

The Morristown store is very small with tight aisles and no attempt to manage the flow of customers through the store. Pleasant staff and typically high Whole Foods prices - but there are discounts for Amazon Prime members. To get the discounts, you need to remember to ask the cashier to scan your id in your amazon app.

This particular Whole Foods Market is a regular stop on the way to my mothers lake house. My fiancé and I will usually eat some food from the bakery or salad area while working in the dining area and then shop for a few things to bring up to the house before leaving. The staff has always been friendly and the food is always good. I really enjoy the plain pizza and the margherita pizza. Both have good amounts of cheese, delicious sauce, and the crust/dough tastes fantastic and fluffy. Overall, Im very happy with this store and especially happy with the large variety of vegan options.

I usually find the staff helpful, but the supply and inventory issues at Whole Foods have been exacerbated by COVID-19. Unfortunately, this Whole Foods seems to be the worst. They never seemed to be well stocked. Now it is really bad. The produce, in particular, is very tired looking.

Review №32

Clean and small. Hot food bar is the WORST FOOD I EVER ATE from the chain. YUK! Same menu items every day. Greasy fatty sauces over marginal meat. EXPENSIVE! Best buy is the pizza, a whole one for about $20-. Good bakery items and good produce section. The meat is way over priced and smelly on way too many occasions. Decent fish dept and some of the nicest works staff there. Pleasant staff over all. PRICEY FOOD ITEMS, not for major shopping trips.

Come prepared to answer your own questions. No help whatsoever. Stood there for a bit before we had to prompt someone for help and that too the person barely answered in full sentences. They kept walking around pointing the location for what we asked. No customer etiquette. Not very whole foods like.

I have no clue why everyone is freaking out. My assumption is someone didnt get something they way they wanted and caused a fight. The service I received today was nothing short of excellent from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. Every department that I utilized was clean and had someone willing to help. If I had a question it was answered immediately and with a pleasant tone. It was as though people enjoyed working there. Even the cashier showed me how to use my prime membership to save money. As long as you are nice to other people. They will treat you nice back. I dont understand how hard that concept is to some people but today was great as far as Im concerned.

This is a pretty standard Whole Foods. Everything is really tasty, the produce is great (a combination of organic and conventional produce) and the meat and seafood sections have decent prices for sale items. There are some other specialty sections including: cheese, sushi, pizza, coffee, and the bakery (sweets and breads). The ready-made food is delicious. Be aware that this location does not sell alcohol!

Whole Foods has become my go-to grocery store for food, with great seafood, fresh produce, baked goods, bulk nuts/dried fruit and cheese. Their store-baked breads are wonderful. Compact design, easy to get around, much more human scaled than some of the new, modern, mega-markets. Not a store to go to for cleaning products or other non-food items.

This location is closed to a power outage so theres that and when I saw some employees were outside I went and asked them (after a welcoming greeting not to mention.) about them being open they told me about the outage and I said awe man, yall have a good night!, and you know what all of the 5 employees outside said?... nothing, absolutely nothing. Talk about some nerve... the audacity of those ppl to not even acknowledge my attempt to show gratitude still after I just drove over an hour and a half to shop there. Yes I was on a road trip back home to N.C. from Connecticut but there were other Whole Foods en route that Im sure werent affected by any power outages that would have more than likely been happy I came to their location even if was about 15 minutes until closing... and after I said my dues and goodbyes as walking away as if to kick me while Im down and beaten, one mutters out of its mouth we do close at 10 though......So not only was I disrespected more than I may have ever been in my LIFE, management just had to let it be know of the closing time even THOUGH I had gotten to location at 9:46..(plenty of time for me to gather my few things; few pieces of Wholesome organic good to the soul fruit, probably a RIPE mango, some naners and a plumb or 2, along with some milk de almundo, some other organic fruit elixir cocktail goodness, & last but NOT least...crafted by the gods themselves and made with enough love to nourish ones soul for 10,000,000 lifetimes....tres leche...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm) they gon sit there and axe like they didnt hear me say either hello nor goodbye to give what I consider a basic human reponse that usually is polite and what decent human beings do when encountering one another....well from my personal experience Id say these folk that I encountered that night werent ppl at all but................................................................................................................................................................................................................ crab ppl.

Its a smaller Whole Foods than Madisons, but the staff is friendly / outgoing / helpful, and they seem happy to be working there (not something you can say for every grocery store). The selection at Madison is better, but if you live closer to this one, Madison Whole Foods isnt always worth the drive.

Review №71

I used to love Whole Foods. They always had such wonderful selections and quality although the prices were always extraordinarily high.In the past several years I guess the economy hit them as well as everybody else and theyre cutting corners. Theyve reduced their selection and all those special items that you couldnt find anywhere else are now gone from the store.Their staff used to be very well trained and helpful but the people who work there now tend to be surly and have no clue what theyre doing. You can walk up to the customer service desk and they will be having their own private conversation and just ignore youThe local grocery stores are now carrying more organic items and a wider selection so you can go there and get most of the same things you could get at Whole Foods for a much lower price.Unless theres something you specifically need at Whole Foods Id skip itP.S. regarding the customer service portion of this review I was actually reviewing the Madison store and not the Morristown store. I do feel that the selection is a lot less than it was years ago. The customer service in the Morristown store is very good

Worst Whole Foods. Few selections, many dairy and meat options are not available most of time. Staff at meat department are ridiculous, wouldnt cut the ribs just because they are on sale. The customer service is so terrible that makes me doubt if they got any training or compliance as a chain, except for a few staff from bakery/cheese departments and one that organizes the shelf, the only star is earned by them.

For the prices they charge, a dirty store is utterly unacceptable. Having organic grass-fed beef is excellent, but it doesnt cover the stench. The fish department stinks like rotting fish so bad you can smell it from produce. Dont ever buy seafood here, go to H-Mart instead as their fish department is WAY cleaner. The meat department also has a strange smell, but not like decomposition.

The one star is for the freshness of the hot food, and the helpfulness of the staff...The hot food was so tasteless, and simply not fresh, unlike any whole foods I have been. The staff! Where do I start?? The staff were the least helpful that I have ever encountered in a whole foods, they looked like zombies!
