Was quoted a price by one guy and the other called me up at the end of the day and tried to triple that price. When I told him not to touch my car he threatened to lock it up in his garage. Police had to be called to get my car

If I could give this garage 10 stars I would. We bought an 85 Toyota Dolphin RV in Reno and were driving it back to the east coast. As one would imagine we had a few small snafus but managed to attend to them all up to that point. Then we started hearing a knocking behind and below the drivers side but it also sounded at times like it might be coming from the front. I wasn’t sure and of course driving a long way with a new vehicle I feared the worst. We read it might be the spark plugs so we replaced those ourselves which certainly helped and she was back on track. Then three hours in the knocking came back. The first mechanic we stopped at said he had zero interest in working on our car. Then I found Alpha Mufflers and gave Julio a call . He wasn’t phased at all and told me I could bring her right in. Julio patiently checked out engine, our transmission and asked about the frequency of of the knocking. He said that from the sounds of it that it most likely was a loose metal piece but just to make sure he crawled under our RV and checked out the axels, joints and found several brackets that just needed tightening including the true culprit back and behind the drivers side. Not going to lie - I cried with relief at such a through, reassuring diagnosis by someone so well versed in their craft. I only wish we lived closer so we could always use his services!

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. Dropped my car without an appointment late in the day...by 9AM the next day, Ocatvio called me with a price on my exhaust repair, which was very reasonable. The car was ready by 3PM. They even touched up some leaky welds on a previous repair for free....why arent you taking your car to Alpha for repairs now? Stop reading this, and get it over there now.

I stopped down there today to ask them to check underneath for an exhaust leak and within a couple of minutes he told me what was wrong and the cost to fix. He took it right away and fixed it within maybe 20-25 minutes at a reasonable price too. Now my wifes car sounds way better.

Loved it..i had a couple leaks in my exhaust and it cost cheap and the guy explained and showed me where they were and how to go by to fixing it..saved me money..definitely going to them again.

Lying about fixing the problem and had to turn around and take it somewhere else to be fixed a 2nd time. Will never do business here again🤬

I’ve had my last two vehicles to them and they are totally awesome. I brought my daughter’s vehicle to them for repairs and they took care of everything and her car is running very well. They are honest hard-working and extremely reasonable. I have recommended many people to them. I recently found out that they helped out a veteran. I don’t know of any other establishment that would help somebody in need in this way. Kind considerate and understanding for the owner and his employees. Kudos to them!!! I will not go to any other establishment to repair my car or anyone else I know. Great job!!!!!!!

Got a muffler swap at this shop. The mechanic got me exactly what I wanted and at a good price for me. Also, he did it quicker than I expected. He did very good welds, too, definitely a highly experienced mechanic. I’d recommend anyone looking for an aftermarket exhaust go to this shop. My Dakota sounds awesome now.

It was a Saturday and I needed my daughters car starter checked and maybe replaced. They were one of the few open with a high review rating. I called and they were able to look at the car the same day if I had it towed there. Once there, they were very friendly and said they would take a look at it that day. I returned a few hours later and they determined it was a bad starter. They werent able to get the part on Saturday. (This was no problem at all). I received a call on the following Monday around noon and the car was completed. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Alpha Mufflers and Auto Repair for great honest repairs.

We were about 3 hours into a road trip to Oklahoma and our right rear brake went out and was grinding badly. It was about 4:30 pm and most places closed at 5. We pulled into Alpha mufflers (who was open till 6). And asked if they could help us. Julio(?) took a look at our vehicle and got parts and replaced Both rear brakes and pads right away. We were out of there by 6 pm and back on the road. Was so grateful for his willingness to help (and not charge me a crazy $$ amount). I’d recommend them anytime.

If youve been to Alpha Muffler, youve most likely had a good experience. Have been to different mechanics and auto shops the last 25 years, and as far as price, service, wait time, and quality of work, there hasnt been a better shop than Alpha Muffler. Owner Julio and assistant Octavio are both good guys, knowledgeable and friendly. Been here 4 times with good experiences every time. Today, Jan 13, they looked into a problem for which lubrication was the simple answer and they didnt want to charge anything. They got the vehicle in & out in under 15 mins. Had to give them something, however, for their time and effort. If your vehicle is having problems, would start by letting these guys have a look. Highly recommended.7/31/21- replaced wheel bearing hub, not a fun job. But they dont complain. Good guys here who dont try to gouge you. Very fair prices.

Maybe they only rip off women. Dont get your car fixed here. They dont know what theyre doing and they will rip you off

Took my Chevy Silverado in. Had muffler with a decent hole in it and corrosion. Fixed it up sounds nice seals hold. Great job! People here were nice and charged me a great price. Id recommend this shop to anyone

Great service! They were friendly, fast, and efficient. Not only are they able to read OBD1, which they did for my 1995 Volkswagen Cabriolet, but they fixed it after diagnosing it in the same day! I highly recommend this auto repair shop Alpha Mufflers, and Octavio was a godsend.

I came in with an exhaust flange that had rusted through and broken between my cat and muffler. They got my car on the lift and fixed in no time for a lot less then I was expecting. Good experience. I would recommend this place to friends.

They want to charge me $160 dollars to weld up 2 pipes off of stock manifolds to an x pipe that already has mufflers welded to it.. I can buy an x pipe that bolts directly in for that price... Ill go to oxbo or valesquez never again will I waist my time here!
