I called last minute to ask if the Cupcakerie could accommodate an assorted Doz. with emphasis on chocolate on chocolate for a birthday I needed within an hr. Owner said no problem. I showed up and hr later beautifully packaged and ready to go! I live the quaint, vintage vibe of the shop. Thank you! (P.S. I know they are delicious this isnt my 1st order but my 1st last minute one).

Cupcakes are decent but $7.49 for a mini and 2 regular is kinda ridiculous. I do like the red velvet but it’s still not worth the ridiculous price. I could see if they were huge muffin sized maybe but not the small ones. I know it doesn’t cost noMore then .50 cents for you guys to make each cupcake especially the minis .

I needed specialty cupcakes for a couple kids that have severe food allergies at my daughters birthday party. The Cupcakerie went above & beyond for me, listing the ingredients to share with the allergy kids mommy, & kept in constant communication with me. They are great to work with & I highly recommend the Cupcakerie!!!

The Cupcakerie has saved the day more than once for me. Always a big hit for family gatherings and special surprises. The range in flavors and sizes, plus excellent quality and customer service make it my go-to place for desserts.

I have used the Cupcakerie for 4 family events over the past few years. The cupcakes always looked beautiful and tasted wonderful. Anna and her staff provide excellent service. They really know their cupcakes!

I do not like giving negative reviews, but I must say that we were VERY disappointed with our daughters birthday cake. When we got home and opened up the box we found that the colors of the cake were not the same as the ones in the picture we had sent them. That was fine and we didnt make a big deal out of it, but aside from the color being different we had requested that the flavoring of the cake and frosting be strawberry, and unfortunately they gave us a cake that had no flavor other than what tasted and looked to be whole wheat. My daughter along with everyone else did not like the cake or the frosting. Unfortunately, it was a complete waste of $145.00.

This place is very lovely! The customer service was great! My sisters and I tried an assortment of cupcakes: Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate, Cookies and Cream, Red Velvet, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Raspberry Lemonade. The best was the Raspberry lemonade and Pumpkin...the others were ok, nothing out the ordinary. Definitely would go back for the raspberry! Great decor!

Always great service, and tasty treats! My wife and I own a funeral home here in Morgantown and we have used the Cupcakerie many times to order snacks for our families who have services with us. I’m personally a big fan of the red velvet!

Great cupcakes, great service. We bought my sons birthday cake there as well and he loved it. This was a special order though. Parking can be tricky at times because of downtown location otherwise, great place to buy yummy cakes!

Great customized work. my wife ordered this cake for a dental school event. The attention to details was perfected. The cake was so good i came back for another one when i found another occasion. if you have an idea for your cake they will try their best to deliver it.

Visited from out of town and saw online that the Cupcakerie made dairy free cupcakes! I was visiting from out of town and stopped in to see if they had any dairy free cupcakes available (I’m lactose intolerant). They don’t have them made to sell, but they can be ordered. I ordered a half dozen around 2 and was able to pick them up by 5! The staff were incredibly accommodating and the cupcakes were AMAZING! My boyfriend had the Loco Cocoa flavor and said it was hands down the best cupcake he has ever had!! Definitely will be back!!

The cupcakerie will provide you with the incredible indulgence that you might expect from a shop that seemingly dedicates itself to one dish, however the unique flavor combinations and range of sponge that this shop produces seems limited only by its bakers creativity. There is some true talent and vision in this kitchen. This place begs to be tried by anyone and everyone.

The Cupcakerie made the most delicious cupcakes and cake for our August 2017 wedding reception. We were able to pick 6 different flavors of cupcakes, plus a different flavor for our cake to cut. My husband and I, as well as our guests, were so very pleased with the selections; many went back for more as we had plenty to go around! They also coordinated icing and cupcake stand details with the colors of our wedding so that it went along with the theme of our wedding/reception. It was absolutely perfect. We would highly recommend The Cupcakerie to anyone!

I ran into this nice shop with a friend when strolling around downtown. We just had two cupcake bytes, and we found them pretty good. Id just say to step by if youre around. Its worth it for a sweet break :)

Definitely let down. I had said we’d never been there before and the woman behind the counter was not very friendly, said nothing at all to help, very quick to give us our cupcakes. Even my young son said she was not friendly. Didn’t feel welcoming for us. Quaint decor I guess. We bought four cupcakes and one was down right awful, it was like putty one was very good and two others were ok. I know everyone has their different taste, but I’m saying the one was just not baked right. I might give it another chance, maybe staff was just having a rough day? The one good cupcake we got would have me give it a second chance.maybe. Very expensive.

Customer service was great quick responses. I ordered 5 different types of cupcakes they were pretty but, sadly none of them had any flavor. I do not like to give negative feedback but, we were extremely disappointed the lemon Yoko Ono did not taste like lemon at all and the lemon infused buttercream icing was plain and tasted like shortening . The double chocolate cake was missing flavor and the frosting tasted like Duncan Hines canned frosting. The Pnutty did taste like peanut butter but very bland peanut butter and the chocolate cake didnt have any flavor at all. The French vanilla cake in the hard days night had just a little flavor and the chocolate icing still tasted like canned frosting. I also ordered carrot cake cupcakes they did smell like carrot cake but again no flavor. The cupcakes that were supposed to have filling ( Yoko Ono, Pnutty and Double chocolate) may have had a half of a teaspoon of filling but honestly the filling didnt matter because it didnt have any flavor either. At almost $40 for 15 cupcakes I expected so much more. This may have been a one time thing but I would recommend that if you want to order from this bakery you go for a taste test before you buy a dozen. I know I will not be ordering any more from here.

What a fantastic store! You’ll melt as soon as you walk in from the mouth watering aromas. The cupcakes here are to die for. Skip the birthday cake, serve Cupcakerie cup cakes instead!

I have had The Cupcakerie cupcakes many times, they are the best tasting cupcakes I have ever had. My boys and I love the chocolate ones. In addition, Anna, is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.

Its no surprise that The Cupcakerie has received the Best of Morgantown award nearly every year since they opened. Their cupcakes/cakes are the best Ive ever had, so moist and flavorful and with such a creative, wide variety of flavors. My only complaint would be having to decide which to eat first. If you are a fan of delicious flavor, try the Cupcakerie.

FANTASTIC cupcakes and cakes. I ordered a custom cake a while back and not only was it delicious, rich, and filling, but also the creativity was other-worldly. No better bake shop exists in Morgantown. Highly recommended.

A little shop for nice cup cakes and coffee

The cupcakes are a little pricey so its not worth it for me to go there for a vanilla cupcake, but they have all kinds of crazy, and unique cupcakes that are worth it. Ive eaten them with a whole Oreo or Resees cup, or even bacon on/in the cupcake and they are always delicious and look beautiful. The selection depends on what they make that day, but if you want to order a bunch you can call ahead and theyll make you W/E.

I appreciate that I was able to order Gluten Free cupcakes for my daughter for her birthday. They delivered with a really cute card too! Great service, wonderful cupcakes, and friendly people.

Good cupcakes...it is locally owned which I love. The price is expensive though and they dont have a huge selection. The cupcakes available each time I go tends to be different.

The girl behind the counter wasnt friendly at all. We ask her what flavors they had because weve never been their before. She said whats on the counter is what I have. (Not what I asked) We chose a 2 vanilla cupcake 1 mini 1 regular size. A mini cookies and cream, a regular peach margarita & a regular hard days night. She boxed them up took my card asked if I wanted a receipt, I said no and she handed my card back and didnt even hand me my box. As we were leaving I said have a good night. My 2 year old daughter wave good bye and said good bye and received nothing back other than a snooty look. The cupcakes were on the dry side and the icing was oily.

I adored this place when it opened while I was in college. I just visited the famous Sprinkles bakery and got their signature red velvet cupcake (while wondering the whole time I was in line if it could be as good as my favorite, red velvet from cupcakerie). I swear Cupcakerie is twice as good! If youre in Morgantown, cherish this place and get the red velvet!
