Stopped in for a nice cold Fresh Banana milkshake on this hot July day and It was absolutely delicious. Fast friendly service and the restaurant is conveniently located next to the interstate.

Just had a perfect chili slaw dog and poppers. Service was quick as well. Good job!

Prices have dramatically increased at this location over the past 3 years, but the service remains high and the quality good. I will stop by every now and then to grab a burger or corndog and sonic blast, but it is not the first place that Id choose to go. I do enjoy the periodic specials and I will come out for those, but increasingly I find different fast food places to visit.

Fast service. The shakes are so good. We got classic strawberry shake and a cheesecake shake.

Food great, satisfying, service friendly, orders complete. They had everything we ordered with no substitution.

The blast I got was doing Kay but it seemed to have a gritty texture from the Reeses peanut butter cups.

Here on vacation, went to sonic drive in. Ordered there new “toaster” bacon cheese burger. The describe a “toaster” as having “thick Texas toast” the sandwich I got was cold, including the burger bacon and the bread. It was not “thick Texas toast” at best it was thin white bread soggy with condiments. This was the WORST meal I have ever had.

Ate here Sunday July 11 2010 @ 7:15PM.I ate a few bites of a Cheeseburger. It tasted funny. I then saw how old it was. Ive had severe food poisoning for 4 days. I missed a week of work. The NC Health Department should shut this place down for dangerous food being served to the general public.

Food was OK, toast on burgers wasnt toasted making for very soggy burgers. Mocha icecream things werent mixed all the way, vanilla was at the bottom. However, it was right at the beginning of lunch rush.

Ok... I love sonics cherry limeades, jalapeno poppers and I always used to love the ice cream but something has changed. Service sometimes also can take 1/2 an hour or more for something as simple as a drink order.... Hopefully theyll hire some new employees & it will improve

Good food! And for the most part employees are very nice, however the order taker at 12:00 p.m. on 6/23 was very curt and did not acknowledge my entire order. Unfortunately I have had an issue at this Sonic every time I have stopped there. I order a hamburger and ask them not to put cheese on it, but every single time in the past year or two they have put cheese on my hamburger and I have had to send it back. They take the order correctly and acknowledge no cheese by posting it on the order screen, but it always comes out with cheese. Im guessing there is a major training issue at the store. However we will continue to return because the food is good and they have such a variety of drinks and shakes.

Tried to place an order 4 times and each time the gal on the other end repeated the order back and it was never right, tried to order something else off the menu and was told she couldnt understand what was wanted on the hotdogs. Could hardly hear the gal speak. You need to repair or replace your ordering system. That being said we canceled the partial and went to a n other establishment for supper. We will not waste our time with Sonic again.

Love their strawberry slushies. Their ice cream machine wasnt working when I visited . I really wanted to try thr red, white and blue sushi. The strawberries on top look delicious. Still want to go back and try it. Good service.

I am very unhappy with my food order from Sonic. They messed up my kids meals, gave me hamburgers instead of grilled cheese. They messed up my crispy chicken sandwich, left off the lettuce and tomato. The mozzarella sticks were so greasy that one literally squirted greasy into my mouth when I tried to bite into it. The only good thing is that when I called to let them know they gave me my money back. Very dissatisfied.

Id love how to find the owner of this sonic. This has got to be one of the worst ran sonics I have ever been to. Hands down. They are rude and never get the order right. Ive tried several times to give them a chance. Everytime its disappointment. This time they didnt have spoons, which I can understand. What I cant understand is waiting till after we order ice cream and pay for it to tell us that, and when we asked what are we supposed to eat the ice cream with she responded with I dont know, maybe you should figure that out in your truck and not with me and turned and walked away. It took us a second to react because we were a little floored by the rudeness. Ill never eat here again.

Service was slow. Our food was cold, especially the tater tots. I asked for a little bit of onions on my hot dog & they put extra. My Aunt asked for salt & mustard after we got our food & it took almost 5 minutes just to get condiments. The server was polite & the drink was good. Thats why I gave them a 2. I havent ate at a Sonics in years so I was excited to go but Ill not be going back for many more years & never to that 1 in Morganton near Grace Hospital. There almost as bad as McDonalds is. Great food and variety! We love Sonic and havent had on years because there is not one convenient to where we lived. We stopped at this one while travelling. Very friendly and quick. They have a drive through as well!

Mocha shake was good. Tots were crispy and hot but not good potato taste. Husband liked the chili cheese tots and corn dog. Daughter loves the banana shake.

The Sonic in Morganton is not one of the better locations. The food we ordered was not freshly prepared. The fries were cool and the burgers had been wrapped long enough for buns to become pasty. The car hop was friendly, but the food quality was disappointing.

Excellent! Very hot and fresh food with very fast service. From the time I pushed the Red Button to place my order (Double Bacon Sonic Burger, two Coney Dogs, 2 chilli cheese tots, 1 Large tot and 3 Route 44 Signature LimeAids) until my order arrived at my car, 4 minutes and 37 seconds. Thats pretty damn impressive!

The burger I got looked burned, and like it had been setting awhile and the bun was cold.The chicken nuggets were hot and good and so was the tater tots. So my dog got the burger and I ate the chicken.

Food came out 10 minutes after the tracker on the menu monitor said it was on its way. only one car hop seemed to be on duty with a full lot of 30 plus cars. all the food was cold. cheese not melted. bbq I paid for not in the bag and the French vanilla cold coffee taste like cleaning chemicals. not a joyful visit.

Amazingly enough their ice cream machine has been “broken” long enough for the sign announcing it to be wrinkled and yellowed. A place that is known for serving ice cream that doesn’t turns into a mediocre burger joint.

The ice cream was pretty good. The kids enjoyed it. The wait time for it was pretty long though. However, they were semi-busy, so we will blame the wait time on that. The staff was friendly.

Did you change hamburger patties? Hamburgers were flat and a little chard. I was craving a Sonic Burger...thick patty with all the fixings. But, didnt get this today. Everything else was good; fries, tea, service. Hope the next time the sonic burger is back.

We ordered all kinds of food, when brought out we was missing a drink. Politely asked for it not once but twice and still left without the drink we paid for!!! Horrible place!!!

Staff is nice but the white for the food a little slow it could be better a little faster or maybe relocate the Sonic to a bigger location that way its more easier for vehicles to get in and out of parking

Typically Sonic ice cream is amazing, however 2 out of my last 3 visits have been very disappointing. The ice cream has been extremely grainy, and it reminds me of eating soft serve ice cream with sand mixed in.

Took 35min. to get are food and after wait that long they got our order wrong, couldnt eat the burgers hit funky spots. This isnt the first time weve experienced bad service and even worse food.

The chicken sandwich was the worst fast food sandwich I have ever ate. It was cold, greasy, flat, and as has as a hockey puck.

Stopped for icecream, parked at the kiosk, couldn’t order from the car because of the placement of machine. Took 15 min to get our shake!
