Mr. Greene even took the time to thank us personally for our business. You just dont find genuine people like these anymore. I just called them at 4:36 this evening. I asked can I speak to the service department please. They literally told me no. I think their exact words were no you cant or no you may not, something like that. I waited in shock for a polite response, something along the lines of no you cant cause they already went home for the day or something like that. But no. Silence. So after like 10 seconds of silence I just hung up. So yeah you need to teach your people some manners.

Id give 10 stars if it would let me.I was blessed to find the perfect truck online and called as soon as they opened the next morning. Blessed again to be put in touch with veteran salesman, Bill Varamis. We spoke for a bit about the truck but conducted almost all of our business via text message because my job keeps me on the phone.I advised what price I needed to be at and Bill spoke with the owner who adjusted the trucks price down almost 2K - close enough to strike a deal. I drove the almost two hours to the dealership from home and immediately fell in love with the truck.While I was there, there was a gentleman who was on his knees doing something to the rim of a customers car. I saw him doing other tasks around the dealership while I was there. Later he came up to me and shook my hand and introduced himself as the dealership owner, John Greene, and he congratulated me on my purchase. This really hit home with me after seeing that no job was so menial that he wasnt willing to take care of it himself.Let me encourage anyone within a few hours drive, that it is worth the drive to come to John Greene CDJ in Morganton to purchase your vehicle. Be sure to ask for Bill - he will treat you better than family.

First experience with these guys. Really good service. Needed a new key and key fob. They had me fixed up and ready to go in no time. Parts desk and service desk guys (sorry didnt get names) were very patient with me and answered my questions knowledgeably.

The employees at John Green Chrysler Dodge Jeep were an awesome team. I had to get my Patriot towed there overnight because of it overheating and other stuff. So the person I dealt with was jeff in the service department and he kept me posted on what was going on. At the end of the day no one in town had any rental cars available for at least a week, so I was literally stranded. But when I got the call today to pick it up I told them I had no way to come get so the owner himself came and picked me up so I could get my vehicle. I couldnt thank him enough. Took vehicle for oil change and inspection, and tires rotate. I dont think they rotated the tires because the air pressure read the same when I got home as it did when I took it. Same low tire on the rear. Should have known better.

So far they have been really nice and not pushy. They listen to you!!

Best service Ive ever recieved. I didnt even buy my vehicle here but needed it serviced. Since they were the only jeep dealer around I was nervous I would be charged an arm and leg for a problem I couldnt understand. Not only did they belong me back to physical show and explain the problem for my vehicle they also helped me with financing such a large bill. Since not many people ever financed these expenses none of the dealers were licensed to give the financial help I needed. Sho the gentleman helping me personally got online took the classes, got certified to be able to issue me the credit application I needed. Who am I? What would such a large company gain from going through all that trouble for one customer? I got the best of the best service and I will forever be a return customer. I recommend this place hands down they will take care of you without a doubt.

After dealing with multiple dealers in FL and NC looking for a used car for my daughter, we found a car we liked here. I have been buying cars for over 40 years, and without a doubt, this was the most relaxed and easy buying experience ever. My salesman Bill was low key and excellent to work with, and got me the price I was looking for. The F&I guy was superb also and they even beat my preapproved loan through USAA by almost a full percent! One of my pet peeves is when a dealer tries to tack on a $700-9000 dealer fee on top of the price of a used car, when there is already profit built in from the difference between wholesale and what they sell it for, theres was extremely reasonable. Although the dealership was 40 minutes from where I live, I would not hesitate to go there again, it was that good. No swarming salesmen looking to make a quick deal, no high pressure sales tactics, no bait and switch, just a relaxed and easy process from start to finish. If more dealers took this type of approach, I am sure that people wouldnt dread the car buying experience. Absolutely first rate guys! Bravo.

I must say, I had a very pleasant experience here! I had a drunk driver pull out in front of me 2 days before Christmas. My vehicle was totaled and I had to find a replacement vehicle for my family quickly. I was limited in funds to what the insurance was giving for my old vehicle. I found something that may work here, and I spoke with Brian, the Used Car Sales Manager. Brian and his team were so very helpful and kind to my family. Live 115 miles away...called up Dave (Internet Sales) on Saturday and asked about a ‘18 F150 Platinum. He did a walk around over the phone with me. I showed up 2 hours later and everything was as described. He even pulled it into the bay for me since it was threatening storms. Nice folks and honest service. Just bought my fourth vehicle from them in the past ten years (plus a fifth I helped an elderly family member purchase). As always, super friendly and easy to deal with. Pathetic service department. Always wondered why every time I took a vehicle by to have something fixed there are new guys behind the counter. Apparently there not good at what they are doing. They couldnt even get the right color door handle put on my jeep. Ray Charles could see the difference. Not to mention the other issues with the jeep. I wouldnt recommend this service department to anyone. As the owner said to me in the past I dont bleed unless I have a cut ! Beware go to another dealership I am.

I wanted to share a wonderful experience my wife and I had with John Greene CDJ. I found a used car they had posted on Autotrader. It was in excellent condition and was the model I wanted (and at a great price). However, I was over 900 miles away. So I started emailing/texting back and forth with Raine Carraway, my salesperson. She sent me all the information on the car, its inspection, and she even made a video of it for me. My wife and I decided to make an adventure out of it, flying to Charlotte. Mr. Greene sent a driver, Gary, who was great and a lot of fun to talk to, to pick us up in Charlotte. Carlos, the F&I manager, had all the paperwork ready for us and had forms filled out already for us that we needed to register the car in Texas. That was not required by him, it was just an extra nice addition for our benefit. Long story short, everything was as originally agreed and we were done in about 30 minutes. It was an excellent experience. You folks in the Morganton area have a fantastic local dealership in John Greene CDJ.

In 2006 Chrysler leasing sold them a hidden surprise Jeep. They were shocked and we departed. Months later they presented a new replacement we still drive in 2019. So the latest purchase was a must do with all these years of straight foreward honesty. I just wanted to let everyone know how wonderful the employees are at John Green Jeep. This past year my family and I were traveling to the mountains for a 4th of July vacation. I forgot the keys for my lockable gas cap and they stayed open late, waited for us to arrive and took care of the problem. They went above and beyond to help us out. Sale guys wasnt very nice

Gene was helpful and nice but the owner was a jerk and an idiot. These people don’t know how to do business. They post a vehicle used that’s not a dodge and when we get there it’s no clean or detailed the owner talked to me on the phone like he knew what he was talking about on the truck and he didn’t. We showed them 6 prices of the same truck 3k-4K cheaper and they wouldn’t budge on price.

Why one star you probably ask? Well today I stopped in because my trunk on my new 2018 300 was hard to close and I just needed it looked at no service needed today. The man in service was very unfriendly and said there was no time to just look at it. This is not the first negative experience I have had here. A few years ago I wanted to trade my car and the dealer told me there was nothing he could do and walked away. This was just stopping in no paper worked done so I went to the Ford dealership right up from them and got a brand new car. Same thing with today I went to Marion Dodge Chrysler and Jeep and had no problems with them looking at my car. Never again will I come here so really the one star is just being nice. Take your business to Skyland Dodge Jeep and Chrysler they work hard for you to get the beat deal.

Very thorough explained everything to us

Just left from getting an oil change. They gave me synthetic oil without even asking me and charged me $70 for it. I am one to never complain but I have never paid that much for an oil change and feel cheated. They should at least ask before giving you something you dont want and charge you for it. Next time please ask your customers. From what I have been told from others this happens alot. Wished I would have known before I went there. I would have been a lifetime customer bc I prefer taking my car to a dealership over just an oil change place.

Great sales staff but internet salesperson will make me think twice before shopping there in the future. I did buy the same model car and color but a year newer with fewer miles and a cleaner Carfax from Everett Chevy for $1,500 less with 4 full coverage warranty.

Very unhappy with the service department here had over $2000 dollars worth of repairs done on my truck in the front end to fix a popping noise that was in the back axle. The tex never test drovery the truck if he would have the problem was very simpleto find. I even told them it was in the back axle when I dropped it off. Now its been about two weeks and I now have a grinding noise coming from the front end sense they worked on truck. Needless to say I wont be back there to get another thing done to my truck. Service Manger was suppose to look in to what the mess up was never heard back from him, l call yesterday he told me that he forgot.... yeah cause they got me for $1000 dollars on parts that I didnt even need. Go somewhere else if you want your car fixed.

If i could give this poor ass excuse for a dealership a negative 5 rating i would. So we look at an older model jeep, and was on our way to purchase it AFTER we had told them we would be there, and they sold it. It is not the principle of selling the jeep, it is the point that we TOLD them we were coming to get it, and they sold it from under us. They had a chance to make a life long customer and they blew it.
