All of the staff were super informative and helpful. To be honest I literally dread going to get my car repaired. I have enough mechanical know how to get around a garage and it was nice to have my representative really go over the repairs. Tom was awesome!

This auto repair shop saved our vacation. We broke down while driving to San Diego from Arizona when the check engine light came on and the engine lost power. Jose, the manager, took very good care of us and did everything he could to get the repair completed as soon as possible. Within 24 hours we were back on the road, all fixed. Jose was friendly and knowledgeable and kept us updated the whole time. I would recommend Budget Auto Repair and we are grateful for what theyve done for us.

Every since I started taking my vehicle to this place they would give me a price and then a few days later they would have a different price when they had finished working on my vehicle and this has happened multiple times. The initial problem that I took my vehicle in for still has not been resolved/fixed.

Should’ve left this review awhile back. Two other shops couldn’t figure out what’s happening with my AC problem. The crew at Budget Auto had it diagnosed in a couple hours. I was skeptical at first only because I had spent money at the other shops without results. But Jose was friendly and seemed knowledgeable and honest when he called with the explanation, so I said okay. My AC did get fixed right, finally, thanks to Budget Auto. It’s been working great and blowing ice cold even during this heatwave. Jose and the mechanics at Budget are knowledgeable and honest. I’ve found a shop I can trust.

Came in for my brakes without having an appointment. They took care of me with a smile and very professionally. The manager and the mechanic were very knowledgeable and showed me what was going on with my car. They showed me some other things wrong with my car, some I already knew. They worked with me on the price and told me what was most important and what stuff I can wait on. It was a great experience.

This place is amazing. I brought my Mercedes here a few times for work. Every time they have been professional and I got good service. Came for brakes and a check engine last time and the manager had it finished in less than a few hours. Will keep coming back here.

Broke down and car would not start when I was at the mall. Budget Auto Repair sent a tow truck pretty quick. Needed major repairs on my old car. But they took good care of my old baby and gave me a good price. For such a huge repair they made things easy.

Went to due transmission repair on car, but due to the cost and the age of my daughters car, inquired about sale of another used car . Daughter was able to go forward with credit. I felt comfortable with all conversations and transactions.

I cant write enough to say how happy I am with Budget Auto. These guys are the best auto repair service Ive received. If you are to coming here you are probably going to the wrong place. They got my car done when they told me it would be done and the pricing was reasonable because they worked with me. They even gave me a ride home and back when my car was done. I didnt know they did that but they offered that to me.

The workers here are helpful and friendly. Came in for a check engine light problem and an oil change. They got me in and out pretty quickly. I was recommended to come here by my neighbor and Ill be back next time. Tried to tell my sister she needed a new transmission and whole new cooling system after she brought in her vehicle because her daughter put trans fluid in the radiator. It was not driven at all. Just another mechanic trying to take advantage of a woman he thinks is ignorant. After all said and done of them literally doing nothing they charged her $78 for diagnosis. Visually inspecting fluid and a water pump wheephole takes 3 mins max....

Husband and I brought in our primary vehicle for a check engine light diagnostic... O2 sensor was the issue based on the code it gave. Granted, it was fixed after being replaced.. However, we ended up leaving the shop after it was there a couple days and as soon as we drove it out, the check engine light came back on. My husband later inspected under the hood and saw the radiator hose that was newly replaced there, was completely detached (broken off), from the radiator. It was nothing but the grace of God that we werent on the freeway because it wouldve been bad. I dont know how a mechanic can replace a radiator hose without noticing that the radiator was old and needed to be replaced. We werent notified when we picked the vehicle up. We had to get it TOWED back to the shop as soon as they opened. They told us they would take a look at it. Days later, after a couple calls to check on the vehicle, they said we were going to need a new radiator. Husband and I agreed it needed to get replaced since we could not drive it elsewhere. We thought that would be the end of it but unfortunately we were wrong. After picking it up, AGAIN, I asked about the check engine light and if it was gone. The person at the front desk replied that it would turn off, after a couple drive cycles.Unfortunately, after a couple drive cycles, 100 miles to be exact, the check engine light was STILL ON. We used the code reader and it read there was an air intake vacuum leak, it appears the vehicles throttle body was done and needed to be replaced. I DID NOT go back there because getting ripped off for over $5k was damage enough.Safe to say, we are not satisfied with this shop because it was unfortunate that every time we brought our vehicle to get fixed, it left the shop with other issues not mentioned to us at the time of pick up. Highly disappointed, I really wish I could recommend this place for diagnostics but no. I could never.We will be having to take the vehicle elsewhere and have a reliable mechanic inspect the work they did, JUST IN CASE they didnt complete the work they said they did.*Update.. To the owner that replied to this review. An apology does not refund me my money spent on this vehicle over the lack of professionalism and neglect. An apology does not take away the stress my husband and I went through between choosing to fix our vehicle or putting food on the table because its not $200 or $500 were paying for the ERRORS your technicians committed. I truly hope no one else experiences this.

Lousy service, I spoke to someone on the phone about car issues I was having this morning. They said that I could bring it in to check out. When I got there they said they couldnt.Dont waste peoples time. And be honest.

1st time we used them, seemed ok. Expensive but the work was fine. Second time, again a little expensive, and when we inspected the work found various hoses not secure after they did the work. 3rd time- today- Towed our car here thinking there was a problem with the immobilizer system. Car would not start, indicator lights signaled immobilizer issue. After we called for an update, shop first tried to charge said it was the battery and wanted to charge $450 to change a battery and sync the fobs. When we tried to get itemized price by task they talked over and around the issue. Told them we were going to pick up the car. Got a call back from Tom who said it was $750. We went and bought a battery, told them to pull the car out. They drove the car out. It was running, no problem. We took it home and changed the battery ($159 with 2 year warranty, same as this business offered) . Took the old battery to auto zone. They said it had 86% life left- all it had needed was a charge and this dishonest company tried to get $750 out of us. Do not trust this business.FOLLOW UP, REPLYING TO OWNERS RESPONSE 1/13/21We pulled our car from your shop . We did not get anything reprogrammed or repaired by your team. The only payment we made to you was for a tow and the diagnosis.We have not HAD to get anything programmed. Car has worked great since we changed the battery ourselves. We drove it out of your shop with the old battery and it worked, and changed to the new battery, and it works great. No hiccups at all. After this experience, I wouldnt trust your professionals to diagnose an empty tank of gas.

I was very disappointed with our experience with this establishment. Our Dodge Journey was towed to them and they quoted us $1000 to have it fixed. The total came out to be about $1300. We payed and a day later our car started making a squealing sound that was not present before. We took the car back, they charged us to run another diagnostic and then they quoted us an additional $1300 to have this new issue fixed. I dont understand how this was missed initially and why it would be so expensive. We decided to take our vehicle elsewhere and will not be using this establishment in the future.Update: we just saw that they broke our antenna, they did not inform us of this, we just found our antenna thrown in the windshield this morning. Very disappointing and unprofessional

When we called to have the service done (detached hose fix) the GM was polite and assisted us as our service expert. We took our car in so they could repair or replace the adapter and coolant hose . After repeatedly calling and being put on hold for over 1 1/2 hrs on the 3rd day of them having the vehicle they informed us that they suggested a bunch more repairs. Which we declined due to the price and poor communication on their behalf. When picking up our vehicle the GM was short with us and very rude from the moment he walked in and saw us waiting. Which seemed to start when we declined the extra services. I would not recommend this auto repair shop to anyone.

Tom has exceptional customer service unlike jose who doesnt know how to answer questions who hangs up in your face and sits in the back office ignoring multiple calls stating comments that have nothing to do with my car. Just overall jose does not give professional customer service but tom i give him a 10 because he takes the time out and explains to u exactly whats going on with your vehicle and he also worked with me because my car was not in the best condition when i brought it in but now i have things i havent had in years like AC

Horrible Experience.11 days to fix my car. They could not find the problem. My bill was $6,010.98 total. Now 5 months later car broke down again.Afraid to take it back, they will tell me its another problem that does not cover the warranty like they did the first time my bill was ($1,700.24 first repaired).I took my business elsewhere and they fixed it already with a way lower cost and only took them 2 days. The owner hides according to mechanic he is in hospital due to covid 19.

They are a ripoff. I brought my car in for a used motor. They took forever to get it done. The motor they installed blew up in a week. I brought it back to them, as it was supposed to be under warranty, and they took the motor apart. 3 months later, they refused to replace or fix it. When I got there to pick up my car, all the greasy parts were put on my rear seat without any protection under them. So not only did I spend $3000 for a blown motor, but I had to replace my rear seat. Bad business practices.

Took my Vw rabbit in for the transmission slipping and a small oil leak. I was told by Tom that they need to remove the trans to get to the leaking vacuum pump. Which you don’t. All it is Is a $7.00 gasket and a transmission service.My quote was $2,800It’s a four hour jobAnd a $300 transmission service🤬🤬🤬Weak

Nice staff. Went in and told them my concerns, they listened and kept me updated thought the whole thing. Explained everything to me when my car was finished, along with showing me parts that I had no clue what their funcrion was. Now I have a much better understanding of my vehicle. I had my 2010 Mazda3 checked due to a transmission problem. It took them more than 3 days to diagnosed what supposed to be the problem complete w/ computer findings, etc. and that the car needs a new transmission w/c will cost me almost $4000. Took the car home but still had to pay them over $300 for diagnostics. I keep doing research online and found out that the problem was only caused by a bad TCM w/c is common trouble for both Mazda3 and Ford Focus. I bought the said TCM online and installed it myself. Cost was $400 only, not $4000. Car has been running good since then.

Went in for 60k mile check and was informed about everything that was going to be done as well as the cost before they started working. Apparently they got sent the wrong transmission fluid but were able to get the correct one and finish the job before the end of the day, so I was happy about that. It seems that any suggestions they make are for the better of the car and your budget.

First off great customer service and professionalism. Came to this shop for a check engine light and jolting of my engine/transmission. Ozzy the service manager helped me out and diagnosed my problem fairly quickly. Through out the process Ozzy and his team were very upfront and honest, which is a hard trait to find in a mechanic, any questions or concerns, Ozzy would take me to my car and show me exactly what was happening, and how he can fix it. My repairs consist of motor mounts, cam shaft acjuators, oils filter housing, and thermostat housing. All done within a couple of days and I was back to driving my car in no time. I definitely recommend this shop for your repair needs.

What a great place. I know the terror of being new to a city and not knowing any mechanics whatsoever so I trusted in Google. Budget Auto Repair has some of the best reviews Ive seen for any kind of business and after calling in I can see why. David helped me out and from the first contact till the end he was extremely transparent and kind. You dont really expect customer service from an auto shop but they knock it out of the park. They took amazing care of my car almost like it was their own. Overall, the prices are either the same or less than nearby shops and they are ever so willing to work with you to make sure you get a fixed car. This is the repair shop you are looking for!

Really good old fashioned auto service. I had a brake fluid leak in my car. They were very careful how they handled it because my car is lowered. I was afraid to take it to other shops because they did not give me any assurances. But the guys at Budget told me they have a rack that can lift it because their rack has lower arms and is especially made for lower cars. They made me feel really comfortable and explained what they do with cars like mine to make sure not to damage anything when they lift it. This is where I will come from now on because they have the ability to handle my car and took care of me quickly and at a good price.

I needed a clutch job done on my Jeep and they were able to get it in at the last minute and if it wasnt for a special order part,it would of been done sooner. They got it done and did a great job.ozzy also informed me of some things to pay attention to which I really appreciate. I will definitely be back for the other work. Thank you to all at your shop.

Brought my car in for a last second oil change before an out of state trip. Theyre honest, fair, didnt try to upsell, and understood my needs. My Acura has 328,000 miles, so Im picky about where I take it, especially considering I used to work in the automotive industry but am unable to anymore because of back and leg problems. Its a good feeling to find an honest, fair shop that wont try and take advantage of my situation.

Wow! This repair place is awesome. Took my ride to them for noises in the front end. They saw a plastic piece from my under pan cracked off and rubbing. The guy took me right to the car and showed me. It was a quick fix at a low price. I really appreciate there honesty and integrity. I know it couldve been a lot worse but the guys here took good care of me.

My experience with Budget Auto Repair has been, nothing short of amazing and enlightening. They explain in detail what the problem is and what it takes to repair, before they repair it. I have been so pleased with their work, I have sent my neighbor, My Sister and her daughter and son n Law to have their vehicles repaired and they were all pleased and will return for any future repairs as will I. All the guys are pleasant an knowledgeable about vehicles, no matter the make.

Ive run into a few shady mechanics, so it was a dream to find Budget Auto! Even though I dont know a lot about car repairs, I know that the people working here are honest and care about their customers. I came in on two different occasions thinking I had major problems with my Toyota but left with having paid very little for what turned out to be simple repairs. I was so happy when they called and explained that the repair would be simple and inexpensive, that I brought them pastries when I picked up my car. Each time I came in I didnt have an appointment and they looked so swamped; but still took me in. I can see that their honesty is what makes them so busy.

Guys here are helpful and willing to work with me. Paul explained everything about my car. He is very knowledgeable and wants to help. Most mechanics Ive gone to talk down to me and make me feel like a stupid girl. Not here! Ive come three times now, since discovering them back in January and every time they treat me like I matter and give me respectful explanations. They are always accommodating and helpful. I met the owner, Ramzy, this time as he was walking around making sure all the customers in the waiting room were comfortable and offered everyone water and donuts. Wow! I will definitely return if my car has problems or needs maintenance.

Worst auto repair experience of my life. Was told I needed a new engine to replace blown head gaskets. 2 engines and 3 months later I am having more issues now then I was before I even took the car. There was always something additional wrong with my car when initially I only needed a new engine. I was constantly at the shop having them fix mistakes that was caused by errors on their part until my warranty ran out. Wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Now Im stuck with a $3000 bill and a car that runs worse(didnt think that was possible) then before I took it to their shop. Make sure you get a receipt for every transaction you make with this shifty business or you may regret it. If I could give negative stars this place would get -5 stars. They are that bad. Cant understand how they are allowed to continue to do business.

David was the gentleman helping me today and he provided excellent customer service. He was respectful, engaging and thorough in explaining the issues I needed to fix in my vehicle. After driving my car home it felt 100% better than how it was driving earlier today. Ozzie wouldnt let me take my car without it being repaired which was a 3k repair that I didnt have and then the repair took over a week and the same day I picked up my car it broke down 3 hours later. This was in may or june 2019. I went again 3 to 4 months later ozzie was gone and I was allowed to take my car without paying for a repair I didnt have money for. Ozzie is gone but this shop is still shady because of things Ozzie did that the shop wont stand behind as he lied when I put my trust into the company and it was ruined.

I’m not sure if the work that was done is correct. My vans brakes don’t stop the vehicle. I exited the freeway and almost rear ended the vehicle in front of me. The brake pedal went all the way to the floor. I thought the van would have been tested. I’m concerned because I just spent a lot of money. If this is all there is then no stars.

Ed was very helpful and kept me up to date on how my repairs were going throughout the process. I had quite a few that werent found before, and he showed me the problem areas on my car in person. Great experience.

Came in because they were recommended by my warranty company. Everyone is so friendly and wanting to help. They gave me a ride and picked me up. Got my truck fixed pretty quickly. I just had to pay my deductible and Budget Auto took care of the rest with the warranty people. Ill come back next time.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. This place should honestly be SHUT DOWN. The way they treat women number one is unprofessional. What theyre doing here is illegal and unacceptable. I have been over charged here serval times even for things I DIDNT WANT FIXED. DO NOT waste your time or your money coming here. Ive been here 3 times to get minor things fixed and its always a bigger problem or issue. They only care about money and they DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR. I got my tires fixed here recently and also got warranty for them as well. Of course after a week, one of my tires went flat. I NEVER HAD AAN ISSUE WITH MY LAST TIRES AND WISH I WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE. On top of that, the warranty didnt cover anything, still got charged for service, taxes and had to spend over $300.00 STILL. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. PLEASE SHUT THIS BUSINESS DOWN.

Came in for a coupon oil change. They got me in and out right away. Very friendly and courteous. Talked to some of the other people waiting and they were happy with this shop too. Got the coupon out of a magazine so it was 1st time here. I will come back.

Budget Auto has a great ethic and Ive sat in their waiting room watching how well they treat all their customers. When they promise something, they do it. I first came here back in March with a coupon from the Moreno Valley magazine. So funny that I saw them from the freeway before but never thought to stop in. I am now so glad I found this place. Ive returned here a couple more times for things my SUV needed and they took really good care of me and always treat me with respect.

Always a little skeptical about mechanics however David was very friendly and the staff at Budget repaired my non running vehicle in about a week. They are very busy and i see why...good prices and good service! I will be using them from now on for all my vehicles maintenance! Thanks Budget Auto Repair

I had my car towed in for a flashing check engine light repairs. From beginning to end the guys here really helped out and gave good service. This was first time using Budget Auto. I will for sure come back when I need service. But hopefully won’t need service too soon.

I have the best car repair experience here earlier today. I come because Drive Time where I bought my car sent me to get repair under the warranties. Manager help me out an he explain every thing to me. Manager and mechanic stay late to get the car done. I told them I need to go to church tomorrow and pick up my mom. They told me they would get the car done and they did. I will come here for my car service and tell my friends.

Very friendly staff. If I lives in the area I would give them more business. They gave me a very fair price on a repair and I would recommend them to anyone.

I live in Temecula but could not get my Charger started while in Riverside. Found this shop online, got a quote to check out the problem. Went ahead and towed my Dodge Charger in. The man at the counter who helped me got the car in pretty quickly and came back saying it was my starter. He said the warehouse had the one for my car and they can get it done pretty fast. I was waiting for my car and they cared about me and worked hard to get me back on the road quick. Overall it was a great service visit.

Had a noise after work was done but they took care of that right away. Car is running great now. Budget folks were great to deal with.

I came here with a whole lot of problems with my car and was freaked out because I didnt have much money but need my car for work. Paul and Ramsey made me feel much better. They checked out my car, and fixed the main problem to get me back on the road. They discussed all the other things wrong with my car and gave me options, pointing out what was important and what I can hold off on. They never got pushy. Just gave me all the facts and then let me make my own decision. Ramsey and Paul were really honest about what it would take to fix just what broke down right now so I can continue to drive the car and put off the other stuff for later. Its really hard to find an honest mechanic these days but I found this place and will definitely be back, now that I live and work in Moreno Valley. Im a girl with my family out of state and really need to be able to trust someone not to rip me off. These are the guys I trust.

Women be careful, this people will charge you for work not done. They will give you inflated quotes because you are a woman. DONT VISIT THIS PLACE!!They threatened to not give me my car and made me sign that I accepted charges that I didnt.
