Weve had a stellar experience with WDC appliances. We purchased 2 dishwashers and a refrigerator from them so far and have been beyond pleased with their customer service. Their communication and delivery was prompt, polite, and professional. In particular, Michelle Moir helped us out big time when our kitchen design unexpectedly changed. Other big box appliance stores would never have helped us out, but Michelle helped us get exactly what we needed and was so kind. I will buy all my appliances from them in the future and support this local business due to their caring customer service, competitive pricing, and prompt service. Thank you WDC!

I have purchased appliances for multiple units from all of the normal places. The last few have been through WDC and Ill never go anywhere else. The deliveries are timely, the prices are good. I had a dishwasher that was in warranty with an issue. I called WDC, and to my amazement, I was put on the phone with a customer care rep ((yes, customer care)) within 1 hour I had an appointment with a factory rep and within 3 days it was fixed, all the while with excellent communication. WDC could charge more.....they would still be my #1 choice.

We had been waiting almost a year for a delivery of an oven from Lowes, we canceled our order after several push backs on the estimated delivery. Finally we decided to check out WDC in Moorpark and we are so glad we did. Not only did the have in stock but we were able to get it the same day. They were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely be going here again to upgrade our fridge and dishwasher.

I have gotten such a run around with this business. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE !!!!! THEIR SALES PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING NOR DO THEIR INSTALLATION TEAMS.I bought a dryer from them and was delivered the wrong unit (electric when I purchased a Gas unit in the store) they took it back I had to go into the store to repurchase my unit with its new product numbers and had to wait 2 days for my new delivery date. Once delivered it was hooked up wrong and the unit kept overheating and shutting off after 20 minutes of work. I went back into the store at 12 oclock yesterday and was told they placed a ticket for repair and that I would be called with a repair date and time. I did not receive a call until 4:45 pm that night and was told the whirlpool repair service was not open at that time and I would get a call the next day from them. At 2 pm I called WDC today and was told that they do not place calls to the repair companies until later in afternoon due to being put on hold in mornings. Now I have to wait for them again today to call me . I could have gone to sears and purchased a unit and had it delivered same day without all this hassle.

If there is a next time, we will be going to Howards Appliances.My wife and I did a kitchen remodel and went to Warehouse Discount Center (WDC) on the recommendation of our cabinet maker. We spent approximately $10,500 on appliances. At the time of purchase, we had a knowledgeable sales rep (Scott) who recommended GE Proline appliances. He assured us that he would be available to assist with any issues and to help with the rebates. The price for the appliances was competitive and delivery time was as promised.I never heard from Scott again and my attempts to reach him went ignored. When the appliances were delivered, the delivery crew - contrary to our understanding - did not inspect the appliances. They said you have three days and took off. In the meantime, we gave WDC the opportunity to do our countertop. The installer was extremely rude and argued as to what was best for us as to finish (bullnose, miter, etc.) and I just sent him on his way. I followed up with the countertop production company and the individual in charge appeared to care less about the experience.I then contacted John Freitas at WDC (vice president of sales) and related my experience. Due to the loss in faith with WDC, we cancelled our installation with them. Freitas refunded most (but not all) of the installation fees we had paid.The GE Proline refrigerator we purchased developed a problem within two weeks of installation. There is a loud rattling noise coming from the refrigerator which appears to be a loose fan or bearing coming apart. Its Fourth of July and we have a refrigerator stocked with food. So, the choice is to put up with the noise or shut down our new refrigerator and find a home for all of the food.My impression of WDC is that they have become an indifferent big box operation with horrible employee morale. The inability to reach our rep, to get the countertop done timely, finding a competent operation to do the installation and, now, the issue with the defunct refrigerator, made a difficult time even more difficult.Someday, the refi money will go away, sales will slow and people will wonder why their business has collapsed.

Just such a great place! My family has been shopping at WDC for decades now. Needed a gas range and from the moment I walked into the store to the time I walked out with a purchase, I felt taken care of. Alex assisted me with my purchase and arranged for delivery within 2 days I opted for extended warranty and to have old range hauled away. All the promises made regarding delivery and confirmation were kept. Delivery was a breeze and the persons who brought the range in and installed were very professional and respectful of the house. They texted me when they were close by so we did not waste a day sitting around.Please think twice before shopping for appliances at the big stores! You will not be disappointed.

Do not bother shopping at WDC. I defentilty wont make that mistake again.I purchased high-end appliances for an entire home remodel, including kitchen and bathrooms. A very expensive Thermador induction cooktop stopped working within the warranty period where it simply cannot be used to cook. Over two and a half months later, I have been repeatedly told that the matter has been escalated, yet I still cannot cook for my family. Two and a half months! Whats the point of a warranty? And I would fully expect that WDC would stand behind the equipment it sells, both from a customer service standpoint, and from an empathetic one where they should understand the difficulty of being without the ability to cook for that long of a period, especially during a time where eating out is even more difficult.

I have gone in this store a few times. Several times they say they will send a sales person. Never come over, i just walk around waiting. These people for a discount center are about as arrogant as you can get. Today i was interested in spending roughly around 20 grand on a new kitchen. No sales person. So i am gonna buy my new kitchen from Pacific Sales. As a business owner myself treating customers like this may work for a bit but over all there is always a competitor and as a homeowner in the area I will recommend to my neighbors to steer clear unless you like being treated like garbage.

I have purchased several appliances from this place . When I remodeled my kitchen I replaced all my appliances, from here. Last year, February, I replaced the built in microwave. A GE Profile. I also purchased an extended warranty.. Approximately 14 months after purchase, an interior door latch broke . Called discount warehouse. Manufacturers warranty expired but I had an extended warranty. A technician was sent to my home . I was told what company this tech was being sent from . I expressed my concerns due to the fact I had had nothing but bad work done by this repair company . They told me too bad . Long story short, ( this is a long story !!) the tech reported that the user broke the latch . Not sure how that’s possible . There’s only one way to open the door, you pull the door open. Latch on inside . They said tech submitted pictures of cracks in door . I have had several people look at the door, we can’t find one crack. Anyway my claim was denied . The store said they’d return my $ paid for extended warranty, since I wasn’t going to use them anymore. I even met with someone face to face . Still have not received $ or further communication from them. The least they could have done was send a company out for second opinion, since customer didn’t agree. I will never shop here again . My friends and family will not shop here . I will make sure to spread the word to stay away from discount warehouse if you want to save money and spare yourself headaches

Extremely disappointed, I purchased a kitchen sink found it for $230.00 less 2 days later, I was told by the sales person they would match it and refund my credit card. 5 MONTHS LATER STILL WAITING FOR THE REFUND. WHO DOES THAT?? Why? Get it together no excuse is acceptable at this point.

We remodeled our kitchen about 10 years ago with appliances from WDC. Needed a new refrigerator. Selected a LG appliance. WDC among the few retailers had it in stock. Mr. Nafiz Hafiz took care of us, explained the process within 48 hours to delivery, and even matched competitor prices. WDC is the place to go for price, service and a large inventory.

We went to WDC with a time sensitive request (I understand Covid delays cannot be controlled and have been very flexible) in October. Nafiz, the salesman who helped me, was initially very informative and helpful in finding a cooktop that would be able to be delivered (delivery was already scheduled) by the first week of November. He told me he would give me a call when it came in.Fast forward to the Friday of the first week of November and nothing. I called and spoke to someone else who said she would send him an email to contact me. Nothing.I called back the following Friday and spoke to yet another person in sales support and was told that the cooktop had arrived but hadn’t been processed or unloaded, she wasn’t sure. I called back the following Tuesday. Was told by yet another sales support person that it wouldn’t, in fact, be delivered until November 18th and she would call me “the second it is ready to be picked up!”. Nothing.I called back today, November 22nd, and was informed that it wouldn’t be here until December 4th. Call logs on their end do not show ANY of the calls I made besides the initial one after the first week of November. It also stated I was informed of the delay on Saturday, which I was not. I had my phone on me all day and never received an email or a call. She was very understanding, but I have lost faith in being contacted.I understand many products are back ordered because of supply issues. This review is not about that. This review is due to the fact that a representative of the company PROMISED ME a delivery date on which I based my decision to purchase. Then I get ghosted by Nafiz, never to hear from him again throughout this entire process. Then MULTIPLE sales support people stated very clearly that the cooktop would be ready to pick up within the next few days and I NEVER got contacted back. I have had to initiate contact every step of the way only to find out that every previous person I talked to basically lied to me. If you don’t know when an item will be in (or you do and you knowingly lie about it) it is highly unprofessional to promise otherwise. Our entire kitchen remodel is now held up because of this issue. I am appalled at the lack of follow through and consideration given to customers, ESPECIALLY from the sales representative I dealt with.I recommend going elsewhere. Even Lowe’s and Home Depot have been more helpful and thorough. I regret giving this company any money whatsoever.

Incompetent and Bad Business practicesSTOP AND BeWareThis place is incompetent and NOT trustworthy and using a very bad and old school sales practices to do business, please save time, money and energy and read all reviews.That was our mistake not to search this place (Yelp Review is already DOWN to 2 ½ stars) but as everyone else we are out of time and wanted to buy the whole package from one place and did not search this place.Anyway, 1st visit was around 11/2018, we met Daniel and he did his best to pick whole package, wall oven, Cooktop, microwave, DW, French door Fridge, Samsung washer and Samsung dryer and two Pedestals.So fare all looks great, delivery date was sharp and accurate, BUT same day after Samsung washer and dryers installed by the same delivery team, when they test it, the washer was vibrating, pouncing and they said it is not looking OK.So, they took it back and replaced NEXT day, again after installation they tested empty and was again pouncing but they said it will stop pouncing when loaded.So this is the 2nd Samsung jumping, pouncing and vibrating and now it is Leaking. ( I have pictures and videos )So far, I called over 8 times, try to reach the sales person and always saying will get approval for return but they never did, and finally got the New store manager after 2 times personally went to store, Juan OrtegaAnd I was clear to him to Return the laundry package since I lost confident in his store, it is not correct and looks like it is a refurbished product.Now when we ask for return policy you get different answer, just to make you happy, they say 15 days but the trick is 15 days UN Opened item, so when they deliver and install, means you eat the package and no return.In conclusionBad Samsung, pouncing, Leaking and funny noise coming from insideBad sales Practices incompetent management and bad way of doing business in a very competitive market place.We STILL insist to re tune this pile or junk, NO service, NO exchangeFacts, paper work, leak pictures and videos will be provided to the Court if needed.

What started off as a very bumpy transaction ended with a more than desired result thanks to the store manager Juan. I came into the store to make a purchase and was very specific that I needed a counter depth refrigerator. My kitchen is very small and of course I forgot to measure the depth of the fridge space. Being that a counter depth was the smallest I could go I knew it would fit. The day I closed escrow I measured the space and compared it to my receipt. I have been sold a full size refrigerator that was absolutely not going to fit. if I had trusted in the salesman I would be paying a $100 restocking fee. I called in extremely upset I spoke with the manager. Juan was able to find a model that he could work with me on price, since I made my purchase over Presidents Day weekend, and was a size that I needed. My fridge was delivered on Saturday and fit perfectly! Juan even called me personally after the delivery to ensure that everything went smoothly. Well I would recommend you really pay attention to what youre being sold, the manager and salesman went above and beyond to fix the error that was made

I want to thank everyone at WDC in Moorpark for all there help! I purchased kitchen appliances from Doug and bathroom fixtures from Julie Bess. Both employees have been outstanding. Both of them were very knowable and extremely helpful. Julie really cares about her customers and has spent a great deal of time over the last several months helping me gather the right items for my house. I will never go anywhere else for my kitchen and bath purchases. WDC has great customer sevice and they been very helpful every step of the way. I could not be more pleased. Update from below ( 2 weeks later ) I’ve had my 3rd repair to the Samsung refrigerator and the blender noise Issue has yet to be figured out. 3rd Repair man left saying “ there nothing he could do to fix the noise” . When WDC was notified by me of that result, WDC ghosted me. Won’t return phone calls or emails. They sold me a malfunctioning refrigerator and are giving me the silent middle finger.I bought 2 refrigerators from WDC of OXNARD. 1 Samsung and 1 LG. The LG works fine and the Samsung is louder than a garbage disposal. Twice now WDC sent a Samsung tech out to try and fix the problem and when the tech got the noise to stop they considered it fixed. Of course hours after the tech left the noises come back. For the 3rd time and 5 days ago Ive requested another repair and have had no response from WDC. Just so you dont think Im crazy, the tech hears the noise and says he doesnt understand the cause. Additionally Ive sent 2 seperate videos at different times of the noise occurring to WDC and still no response. So from my experice you basically have a 50% chance of getting a good working refrigerator from WDC. Also note that when you get their warranty plan, WDC sets the repairs up like this.... A repair guy will call to schedule a day they can come out. That day you pic you have to be home all day because the tech can call at any time and say theyll be there in an hour or two. The repair company gives you no window of time, its just... well call you and you better be there or youll have to wait anther week before we can put you in the schedule again. Its unbelievable

Great selection. Great knowledgeable salesperson on the front end. A little overpriced.Hard to get a printout of your order. When we went into a dispute and demanded a printout, i was genuinely surprised to find our that my item is special order and can not be returned or refunded. (During the sale I was told that the item is in a local wearhouse). On a promise of a delivery within a week-received my merchandise with a wait time of about a month. The only way I was getting information back of any kind was if I came to the store and sat in front of the sales person until she would get info.Opened a credit account with them through Symphony. Received a bill of $2700 for order that was cancelled within 24 hours and merchandise was still at the store. Good thing at the time I demanded a cancellation invoice to be emailed. Refund was not received to the account untill over a month later. We disputed charges and Synchrony sided with the vendor.Not going back. Ever. I will buy everything at Pacific Sales. They are great. (See my other review for them).

I bought my washer and dryer from Warehouse Discount and was very happy with their service. They did a good job installing and the whole transaction went smoothly. Only one suggestion I would make is for the delivery people to ask the customer if they have a drip pan that goes with it.I forgot about the pan in the garage and had to pay extra for them to come back another day to install it.

As with any appliance-buying experience, once you have generally found what you are looking for, it really comes down to the salesperson who is willing to take the time to answer your questions, ASK the right questions, and be patient enough to stand by and watch a bunch of novices try and figure out what they really want and/or need. We were fortunate enough to have that salesperson at our side to help us get out of our own way as we eventually found the oven we wanted and eventually purchased. He was honest and patient and didnt try and sell us something that we didnt need. He was a guide on the side.

No one will return our calls. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I have never experienced such poor customer service. Call and try to get a manager and you will see what I mean. Customer service is seriously lacking. I came into the store in Moorpark today and walked around for twenty minutes before I had to ask someone for help. He said he was helping someone else. Another 15 mins and no contact from anyone. I went to the front desk and spoke with another CS rep, again, helping someone. The whole I was in this store, not one time was I asked to be helped. I should mention, I bought ALL of my Viking appliances with this store, albeit in Valencia. Heading to Best Buy for better CS and the product I need. Never again. Nice selection and ok pricing if you can get someone to help you. The stats are for the selection only. CS deserves negative.

Couldnt deliver fridge on time as promised twice. Sales rep offered a loaner so client could have fridge for Xmas. The manager okd it and then the day of picking it up the owner of the company personally said no. Client went without fridge on Xmas even though ordered weeks in advanced and promised in time. I wish I had read the post from Gary Little before I shopped here, I am pretty sure I got his returned dishwasher. They passed this off as a floor sample, once I started peeling the onion back it really started to stink. Dont tell me that ALL new dishwashers come with water in the drain line, I am not a complete idiot. Bottom line, you missed the target with the installation and left me hanging, then when I picked it up and got it home I discovered it was already installed once and used.Dont bother reaching out to me, I tried your less than responsive customer service line, and got nothing but lip service. My advice to you, revisit your customer service policies, I came there for a better shopping experience than a big box store and all I got was a used dishwasher and one lie after the other.Bottom line, run from these people as far and as fast as you can go.PS, 10 min in and out at Lowes and they even smiled at me and helped me load it up.

I did some preliminary research so I felt confident that I knew what dishwasher I wanted. I went to Best Buy, Lowes (no one in the appliance department to even give me a price - I had to call and get the price over the phone), WDC and Home Depot. WDC offered to match the lowest price. They also were the only one to print out the specs and they answered all my questions. Now I did have to then go to Home Depot to see the product on the floor but of course I got the price there as well. So with the price match, WDC had the lowest/equal price for the product AND also the lowest rate for delivery, installation and haul way, plus the best in-store service by Oscar! A no-brainer to go with WDC.

We bought a refrigerator on black Friday was told it would be delivered December 3rd or Saturday December 4th well we get a call the night of November 30th saying good news your refrigerator will be delivered December 20 th are they kidding even day of order we told the service personal if they cant do it lowes would have it available he said no problem youll have it following weekend, bottom line were living out of an ice chest so I cancelled order and ended up getting refrigerator today December 4 th even Lowes said they should have known they didnt have it

We were looking to replace and upgrade out kitchen appliances. Visited Lowes, Pacific Sales, and Warehouse Discount Center (WDC). We decided to use WDC due to our interaction with Christian Alvarez. He was very helpful and he was able to meet and beat the other quoted prices. WDC works with a small group of installation contractors. WDC schedules the appliance installation while Pacific Sales requires that the customer contact installers from a list provided by Pacific Sales or the customer arrange installation from their preferred installer. Appliances arrived within a few days of order as quoted and installation occurred the next week as scheduled. Manny (spelling ?) and his partner installed a double oven (needed a couple cabinet cuts, included in the installation price), a range hood(this was a tight fit in the cabinet opening, great job), and a gas cooktop (needed to grind the opening of the counter top so the cooktop would fit, this is included in the installation price). Manny and his partner were careful to not damage the appliances during installation, used floor coverings, countertop coverings, and vacuumed before leaving. We had some issues with the microwave as it is located in an overhead cabinet. The cabinet was designed to fit the old microwave (GE Profile) and the associated trim kit. The replacement microwave and associated trim kit did not completely cover the cabinet opening. While Manny was installing the other appliances, we talked with him about the microwave issue. He recommended a company named Microtrim (Santa Ana, CA). I talked to Christian about Microtrim and since Microtrim doesn’t have a business relationship with WDC, Christian was reluctant to recommend them. I will recommend Microtrim. I talked to Ryan at Microtrim, provided all necessary dimensions and they completed the trim kit manufacturing in a few days. The kit consisted of four aluminum pieces that fight around the microwave and a couple of plastic supports where the microwave sits. Manny installed the microwave a few days later. All appliances arrived in perfect condition, and the installation went well. I recommend talking to Christian Alvarez at WDC when you are looking for appliances. We are very satisfied customers.

In January of 2012, I purchased a floor model for an allegedly new Kitchen Aid built in refrigerator. The cost for the refrigerator was $5300 w/ tax. The sales associate assurred me that the refrigerator was new and never used. There were a couple of dings on the doors that he explained were due to it being a floor model. I purchased the refrigerator contingent upon receiving the base plate, which was not attached to the item. The sales representative stated it would not be a problem to receive it.In February of 2012, I noticed that the shelf guides in the freezer were very rusty. It looked to me as though the refrigerator was used. I took photographs of the rust and showed the store manager, who in turn told me that it was normal for new refrigerators to aquire some rust while still in the packaging. I told him this was unacceptable and asked for it to be fixed. He said he would order the pieces and replace the parts. It is 5 months later and I have yet to see the parts. I later asked several refrigerator repairmen if this were true. They all stated that new refrigerators dont rust.It is now 6 months later and I have yet to receive the base plate. I have called the store on numerous occasions, only to be told that the sales associate is with a customer. I have left messages on several occasions but did not receive a return call.At the end of June I received a call indicating that the part was ready for pick-up. However, the part was for the current model (my refrigerator was apparently discontinued) and did not fit my refrigerator. I brought this to the attention of the representative who stated that he would find me the appropriate part.In the meantime I have contacted Kitchen Aid part vendors to locate the part myself. However, I was told that the part no longer exists. When I told the representative this (I was fortunate to get ahold of him), he said he is still working with Kitchen Aid to get the part. I then asked him how long I was required to wait until we could agree that the part was unavailable. My opinion is that I have already waitied 6 months for the part and I should not have to wait longer. I requested a refund based upon our sales contract. Once again he told me he was working with a representative but did not directly ansewr my questions. I told him that was fine but I would not accept a used part. When I told him this, he didnt understand why a used part would not be acceptatble as long as it fit. When I told him that I paid $5000 for an allegedly new refrigerator and I wanted the parts to be new, he forwarded my call to the manager. However, the manager was conveniently busy and unable to take my call. I am still waiting for the manager to return my call.Do not purchase from this store. Their customer service is horrible and they do not stand behind their products nor their contracts. I am going to settle this in small claims court because I keep getting the runaround.I will repost if WDC does the right thing and refunds my purchase or calculates the depreciation and compensates me accordingly for this obviously used refrigerator.
