Great local market. Carries wide variety of items which other local supermarkets don’t always have. Have always had good luck with meat and poultry. Add this to great prices and it is our go to market. Would recommend.

Quiet, clean, not congested place to do grocery shopping. They have fresh produce, meat, dairy, and all the essentials you need but not a lot of variety. Great for these COVID times!

The staff is really friendly. My biggest issue with this location is that they usually only have one or maybe a second check out person. Creating long lines. Other wise I really dont have a problem with the store.

I tried your store today. The customer service I experienced by Hunter and Austin was fabulous. I was looking for another store in town because the customer service and Ralphs is horrible. My experience with Hunter and Austin today (I was needy) has convinced me to turn my shopping needs to Smart & Final. Thank you Hunter and Austin for helping me!!

Early in the morning is best. Less people. A large variety of fresh vegetables, hash browns have been short on supply. Watch for their specials.

Great Customer Service

Wow...lazy, pushy checkers. For some reason, the checkers will not bag groceries and expect the customers to hurry up and get out of their way. The only reason prices are slightly lower is because the food is about to expire. Saving 5 bucks a week is not worth the trip to this dirty and rude staffed store.

Great place to shop. Smart & Final Extra! Always has great prices on bulk items. Although at no fault of their own it seemed that some shelves where a bit baron. Of course this could be due to the current pandemic we are going through. Overall great experience everytime and their employees are always freindly and helpful.

Nothing special as far as grocery stores go. Employees are friendly. Produce is not too bad. Some items are available in bulk sizes. I still have to go to other grocers to find things I cant get here.

Shopping at Smart & final extra in Moorpark is always a breeze. They have a good selection and plenty of quantities of all the stuff Im looking for. Not loving the checkout line at the moment. Its kind of like going to DMV and waiting for them to call my number now serving G97 at window number 6. I do appreciate and want to support the fact that they do not have self-checkout at Smart & final and I want to thank them!

During this time of quarantine we want to shout out about Ryan, the manager, at the Moorpark Smart and Final. He went beyond his duty to shop for items for my husband and me and made sure we received all the items we needed. He put our groceries in the trunk of our car but refused to take a tip we left for him. What a wonderful representative of Smart and Final.

I am not a fan of Smart & Final. Their prices are not great, and their selection is poor. They also seem to have an obsession with rearranging the store. The current remodel forces you to go completely down every aisle, instead of having a center aisle in between. Very annoying, in fact it makes me not go down the aisles and just pinpoint where I need to go. So if they think they are getting people to impulse purchase with their new design it definitely doesnt work for me. Things are very hard to find, prices are high.

I believe this is the best Smart & Final. Its a big store with constant re-stocking of fresh items. Good prices. Friendly staff. Many other stores train their personnel here.

I come from Simi to shop at this store, even though there are 3 in my area. I like the larger store and wider isles here. I just wish they had every products cost marked on the shelf... (the Hadley Dates in the produce area were not marked, nor could I find pricing on the shelf they sat on). I do enjoy shopping here though.

Had what I needed at a fair price

I work at a cafe in Oak Park and frequently need to pick up produce, etc. at the Smart & Final near my home in Moorpark. Today I left my wallet at the store and had that panic moment until I called from home and was told they found it and the manager would hold it for me in his office. This could have been a seriously BAD day for me but instead my disaster was handled with courtesy and efficiency. I just needed to tell you how much I appreciate your help.

This is a great Smart & Final. Folks are always friendly. HUGE produce section and I think they may be the last place in town that sells Stouffers Spinach Soufflé! Great prices too. We used to go to Ralphs... Not any more :)

I go to s&f for my ground turkey, coffee, beef like tri-tip cuts and many other great priced foods. If you want quality and quantity spices, theyre great. The new reopening upgraded the produce a lot. Cleaning and laundry supplies are cheaper there. Party cooking containers and other useful things are less expensive also. Their own brands are as good if not better than named brands. In general if I want to stock up on the foods I make a lot of I go here. For the comfort foods Trader Joes is best. I get very little from Vons other than use the pharmacy and sometimes a few items to save gas.

Dont buy meat from this place. I always see people returning meat. Today, I became one of those people. I also managed to anger the cashier with my return...She was throwing everything around..I dont blame her. This place is usually very busy with only 1 or 2 cashiers available.

Normally i love this place and the people that work there. This morning, not so much. The girl on the checkstand could barely give me the time of day. Maybe morning shift isnt her thing.

I like this store a lot. We always get our Tillamook cheese here - they have the best price. Plus good deals on plates, cups, cutlery for parties. I rated it 4 stars instead of 5, because check out seems to take longer than at other grocery stores.

I was disappointed to find out they didnt carry the cooked rotisserie chickens, so I had to make dinner when I got home. Nice, clean store, friendly staff. Cashier was very nice and very helpful.

Moorparks Smart & Final is clean, well-stocked, and has good prices, but most of all, I find the team to be pleasant and helpful. I was also recently impressed that the Manager offered to see if S&F could order a product for me that they do not stock.
