Love the centric, by far one of the most wonderful rods Ive ever had the pleasure of using. Unfortunately I broke it, not sure how.Its been back at scott rods for 60+ days, I called to check on the progress and was told it would be at least 4 more weeks. 3 months to fix a rod?at best?Spend your money on something else, whats the point in having a life time warranty if it takes half your life to get it back?

Love this company and these people!!Im new-again to fly fishing and got hooked on Scott Rods. I really appreciate that they are not only made 100% in the USA, but right here in Colorado. So many other USA manufacturers have gradually shipped production overseas and didnt say anything about it.I dont need to go on and on about the top notch quality of these rods; just read and forum or fly blog. Instead, I appreciate the people that work at this company even more. Ive called Scott several times, mainly for advice, and theyve always taken the time. To chat with me. I usually get sent right through to Jim. Where else on the planet do you get sent to right to the top guy in a worldwide company?!?So many fly shops give their recommendations, but what you find is that they often refer what they know; the rod in their quiver. Scott has no preference which of their rods you buy. They just want you to be happy with the one you get.A+ for these people and this awesome Colorado USA company!

I sent a 10 year old Fiberglass rod in for repair. Got it back in 8 days and fixed under warranty. This is another reason I have 3 Scott Fly Rods. Great product ! Great service !

Ive had a couple warranty repairs in the last couple years and it is always a mess. They lose rods, forget to send them, claim there are problems with payment that magically get fixed without any explanation. Im on 10 weeks for this repair, my last one took forever too. What use is a warranty if you lose the rod for the entire season?

I bought an S4S 905/4 last summer and fished it twice before each ferrell cracked on all 4 pieces. On the second day of casting, it fell apart mid-cast. I knew that the Rod was covered with an extensive “Life Time” warranty, so I returned to the shop I bought it from and had them send in for repairs. I just picked up the rod today and was blown away that I had to PAY for Scott to make the repairs on a rod the malfunctioned with less than 16 hours of fishing on it. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that most reputable rod companies charge a handling fee on rods that are months and years into a warranty period, but charging me to repair a rod that has barely gotten wet is a crock of sh**t. I took a chance on a small local company, of which I wanted to support because I had heard so many great things and I’m beyond let down. Never have I experienced a “quality” product fail so quickly, backed with a b.s. warranty program. I hope the $50 handling fee to repair my rod is worth the bad review.

I find the aftercare service from Scott is absolute rubbishI had a rod from them new last year used it once the cork came off the handle it has been repaired and posted back to menot yet received the rod it seems to be lost somewhere I had to pay £50 to ship it to scott that they have refused to refund me. so as it stands I have no rod, £50 out of pocket, and as for the lifetime guarantee its not worth the paper its written on
