Rented a side by side for a day in the canyon(super cheap). Blew my reservoir tank on my truck on the way up the hill. Shops in town were booked out 3 weeks with me leaving on Sunday. I called Kevin at Top Edge to ask for a pick up for the side by side and let them no my situation. Kevin said his tech on hand could handle the job. I was still able to hash out a day in the canyon, which was a highlight of the trip. Upon my return, he already had the part delivered to the store and ready for install. Before my family could get cozy in the luxurious theatre, the job was done! Definitely coming back next time in Montrose. Might even make the trip for my audio needs, considering they are such a great outfit! Thanks again!

Hands down the best customer service I have ever received from a car audio shop. These guys were willing and able to field and answer all questions. Every time I called the store I had an enthusiastic kind employee assist me. Upon completion of the work on my truck I was so impressed with the attention detail and turnaround time! For starters I went in because on the topedge website it was stated in their flyer that with purchase of jl products the installation is free. When I asked they said it was no longer valid I looked again later that evening but didnt bring it up because I had gotten some of the sets in different brand because I had taken that salesmans word for it 2 months after the order was made put half down got an appointment another 2 weeks later was told when dropping off the car the sub had come in. When going over my car after picking it up the trunk release button was no longer working and the sub was only an 8. I called and went back and talked to a different salesman he said to bring it back and would be fixed. When I went in the service guy was very rude said it was already broken when I brought it in which it wasnt. The salesman came out said sorry for the other guy cant control what people say and that he would order the part to fix the trunk release and still get the sub i had ordered it has now been another couple months with no call or anything from them. I had been a repeat customer nothing very big but repeat business.I will never go back to them to do work for me still no trunk release starting to think I need to take it to the Chevy dealership locally to actually get it fixed. Very unhappy with the experience I had with topedge.

My husband took my vehicle to get a subwoofer enclosure for my SUV, for my birthday present in May 2020. We got approved for a credit card through their company, so the employee we were dealing with was aware of our limit. They work on commission. When I picked my vehicle up that evening at closing time, they had maxed out my credit and replaced my entire stereo system. I was honestly horrified it was not at all what I had asked for, I returned it immediately. It is now October we are still fighting for what their manager said would be fully refunded with a check we never received, and are still fighting for it to be refunded in some way. The credit lender has claimed that their opportunity to respond to them, concerning the returned merchandise has been a full 90 days. Even though top edge promise they have done all they can.

My experience with Lakewood, CO location has been a nightmare to say the least. I went to them to have my engine replaced because the crankshaft broke. After over six weeks and a lot of money paid, I thought I finally had my vehicle back (we are a 2 vehicle family household with 2 children and work full time jobs). Received my truck back and the steering alignment was completely off, they told me that they would take care of it but I ended up paying another shop to take care of it. After a couple weeks I noticed some leaks and upon investigating saw a 3 ft crowbar lodged in the engine bay right on top of my steering column as well as numerous leaks. Took it in and they shrugged off the crow bar basically saying it happens. My power steering pump was leaking and they replaced the oil pan gasket, paid more money to have power steering pump done. At this point I learn that the technician that worked on my vehicle was fired due to negligence to multiple other vehicles, and the current tech told me he was overwhelmed with work trying to fix all of the mistakes made by the previous tech who did my entire engine build. My total expense paid to them at this point is over $6,400. Fast forward 2 months, I notice some small leaks but nothing crazy, I waited for time in my schedule to take it in for diagnostic. The leaks turned to bigger leaks, I took it in immediately. The tech looked under the vehicle and began to rattle off a number of leaks and concerning things with the vehicle. They said the valve cover gaskets were leaking on both sides. Multiple heater core hoses were leaking as well as some of the smaller coolant hoses. The front passenger axle was completely disconnected from the front differential (IFS 4x4). The new power steering pump was leaking again. As well as an undetermined leak from either oil pan or rear main seal. After quoting me $1,900 to fix these repairs (even with the power steering that is still under warranty still -only took 2 months to leak again-) the new engine has a 36mo unlimited mile warranty. After months in their shop and seemingly endless incompetence, I would NOT recommend them. I am currently pursuing legal counsel to help mitigate this situation.

This place is awesome, I am a local Jeep Rental owner and I recently put some hitches and got a bunch of attachments from this place for my rental Fleet. They did all the labor and installations and I couldnt be happier. As well as good service, good selection, I couldnt beat the prices. Kevin is an awesome manager who goes out of his way to make sure that youre happy. Also, Chris is one hell of a good salesman who will help you find exactly what youre looking within the budget you give him. A+ guys! Keep up the good work and I will be doing plenty more business with you in the future.

Wonderful experience! We rented a UTV for the day. Service was prompt and friendly, Jimmy helped us load/unload the UTV at our destination. Super nice guy, very knowledgable about the area! The UTV itself was AWESOME! It handled rocks, bumps, etc. like a champ. Very reliable vehicle (and street legal). There is an option to purchase goggles (essentially sport sunglasses with padding around the eyes). I would definitely recommend these, as there is a significant amount of dirt blowing around at all times. Sunglasses will not be enough. Or, if you have your own pair of goggles, that works as well!One word of caution, everything that you take on the UTV will be completely covered in dirt. I would not recommend bringing anything you dont mind literally being covered in dirt. We brought some nice backpacks with us and regretted it later.Overall great experience! Such a blast driving that UTV around all day :)

Although I love my setup that I received. I am very disappointed in the work done. My boyfriend got me a head unit installed for my birthday in the middle of august. Since it was hot then I didnt notice until it was getting cold, but they broke my heat while installing it. I brought it back to them thinking they could figure out what they did as my car is in great condition and there was previously nothing wrong. I brought it in and they couldnt find the problem. So, I was told to bring it to a dealership and they would pay if it was their fault. I did, and it was. The tech who put it in bent and broke my heating cable. I am now still waiting for said cable and for this to be fixed. Although they are paying for the damage I will never recommend this place due to the huge inconvienince this has caused and the stress commuting 45 minutes to work at 4 or 5 am freezing the entire way 6 days a week... You got 2 stars simply because you are working on fixing the problem....

I called today to get an estimate for sparkplugs for my Subaru. Brian quoted me a cheaper price than the other places and also did me a very nice huge favor by scheduling me for two weeks sooner than my finances would allow.Edit: I will never forget the kindness Kevin, the owner a)ways showed me every time my old Subaru died its ninth death. He has great employees too.

Impressed with the immediate attention Kevin gave me in setting up appt the very next day to install a digital antenna for my RV. Work was done on time by Eric and we were able to resume our travel plans. However.....when we tried to turn on our TV the next day....it simply didnt work. I called twice and left message for Eric to call me back. When that didnt happen, I next spoke to Kevin. He assured me he would give the message to Eric.To date..NOTHING ! ! No one has recontacted me.Message to Kevin : Turn about is fair play. Get Eric to resolve this outstanding customer service issue and the damage to your SUV taillight issue will be taken care of.

Replaces all my speakers in my car just to find out not even a month after buying them they stopped working and cant get refunded if its been more then 14 days from the initial purchase. Absolutely worst return policy ever that means they know their stuff is expected to break within 14 days or longer.... Waste of money...

This place used to be based on Customer Service. Well forget that now a days. Their No return policy screams We dont give crap.....Even if they suggest an item, and you take the item and dont like it......To bad so sad. I loved this store when it first opened. I was here weekly from Delta. Now they dont exist to me anymore. I take my business to their competitor in downtown Montrose. They will stand behind their suggestions, Even if you dont like it. Several of my friends have also switched. I sent my boys to their competitor and both of them were treated right.

My aftermarket stereo system recently stopped working and when I thought about having to bring it to Top Edge to have it looked at (they are the closest business to my location) I was reminded of my horribly uncomfortable experience with one of the employees this summer. I brought my van in to have the stereo face pulled off to retrieve two cds that had fallen through the dash and was bombarded by inappropriate sexual comments. The man ringing up my tab made a comment to me when I tripped on the stairs that I should be careful, and not to fall unless it was onto his face. And when he took my contact info and payment information he told me not to be surprised if I received a call from an unknown number, and he winked at me, and told me he was gonna take me skiing and show me all the good spots.When I got back in my van I noticed that, while in Top Edges possession, it had been taken around some very sharp curves, as my passenger side drawer was flung wide open and my water bottle was tossed from the center console into the passenger side floorboards and spilling everywhere.I have never had a business interaction that left me feeling so belittled and reduced and disgusted. I couldnt think of anything to say at the time because I couldnt even wrap my brain around the fact that it was happening. But I am appalled by the manner in which this man conducted himself and the $50 I forked over to a company who would employ someone with his character. I will never return to Top Edge. And I will never reccomend this business to anyone. I would rather drive three hours to Grand Junction than give one more second of my time or any more money to a business that would allow such behavior to exist.

Poor customer service. I went in and spoke with a Sales Associate about getting window tints for my vehicle. He advised me that he would need to call the tint specialist to schedule an appointment, and that he would call me to schedule an appointment. He called me and we agreed upon an appointment time and date. When I showed up for my appointment, the same Sales Associate that I had spoken with on the phone told me he had no record of my appointment. I like living in a small town but I hate when businesses act like they are the only option. I will go to Delta, Grand Junction if I need to, to go out of my way to not give this business my hard-earned money.

People but they make you spend way too much and if they hook up the wires wrong you come back they make you pay for you to fix it even though they should fix it the very first time So pretty much they just care about the money and not the customers and you can go other places and get it cheaper
