Our washing machine died suddenly! Due to our washer heavy lifestyle, we opted to purchase a new washer the same day. Tri-River was the only place in town which had washers for sale right off the showroom floor. We loaded up our old machine and went to town. We called and told the store we were on our way. When we got to the showroom, the 2 staff members seemed put out to talk with us, had very little knowledge of the product and had to be prompted to find us information about the machines we were considering.Once we chose our washer, we asked about help unloading our old machine and the lady said we needed to take it to the warehouse but that there was no one there to help us unload. It was about 5pm on a Tuesday.We asked if we could unload the old machine outside the back door and have someone come pick it up in the morning. Lady said,in a snotty tone, no, absolutely not and that we could come back at 8am the next day.We live 35 miles away from the store and have jobs and busy lives. We told them that the only reason we came there was because we could get a washer the same day and that we would take our $1200.00 elsewhere.They suddenly figured out how to call someone to come assist us with the old washer and loading the new one.The young man who came to help us excellent and very capable at moving around large machines!I know we paid over two hundred dollars more than we would have if we had waited for Home Depot to get one for us and we got treated like trailer trash. Ill pull out the warshboard next time.

The people are exceptionally polite and genuinely friendly. The showroom is beautiful and they carry quality appliances. The reason I know about the quality is that I currently have and have had appliances from other companies go bad in short periods of time. All the appliances that Ive bought at Tri-River are still working. They cost a little more, but are so worth it! Today I bought two upright freezers from them to replace a chest freezer that died that I bought only 3 years ago. I wish I would have bought the chest from Tri-River, but I didnt.

Tri Rivers sold us a $2000Speed Queen stack washer-dryer that has broken down six times since August 27 last year and they won’t replace it! Don’t do business there-they sold it as new but Speed Queen has files that it was delivered damaged and Tri Rivers ordered new parts and repaired in store and and lied to us! They still won’t do good by us so we are out over $2000. and the washer still won’t work!

We purchased a new Bosch stove/oven and refrigerator from these folks in January 2020. Joe was very helpful figuring out the model that would fit our slightly challenging slide in counter situation...at a reasonable price too. We had an issue with the ice maker but bc of COVID couldn’t get help. Then Kaylen (sp?) was super helpful over the phone with detailed instructions on how to remedy - and now we have ice! We do need an adjustment on the fridg bc the left door keeps swinging shut instead of staying open and I expect we will be able to get a service call once this weird COVID time lightens up.The advice is solid and the service is great. Its good to know theres a local business that takes care of their customers.

Beyond disappointed with the customer service from everyone we dealt with at this store. We ordered a microwave the first week in January (maybe even the last week in Dec?), & were told it would be in within 2-3 weeks. We were not notified of any delay in shipping, but when we called after 3 weeks, they said, “It’s not here, but will be in in 2 weeks.” Again, no calls with updates, but we got the same answer when we called in 2 weeks. This went on & on...We really wanted to support the local guys, but the end result was that these “appliance professionals” lead us on until mid March, @ which point we googled the make & model; the 1st company we contacted had it in stock (for $30 cheaper), gave us free shipping, & we had our microwave in 4 days. Wow, imagine our surprise!Now, to add insult to injury, Tri River told us our original trim piece wouldn’t work w/ the new model, even though it was the SAME MICROWAVE. So we bought the new trim piece. It didn’t fit the new one, & was plastic, as opposed to the original metal one. Fortunately my husband was wise enough to save the old trim, which fits perfectly… when we called to tell them we had a new microwave in our possession, and would be returning the trim piece that they sold us we were told they usually don’t take them back. Begrudgingly they refunded our $ on the trim, with absolutely no apology for anything.If I could give anything less than a one star review, I would! I will do anything to support the local economy, but not at the cost of having to deal with companies such as this. They will never get another penny from me, and I will tell everyone I know, and a lot of people that I do not know just how poorly they treated us! Horrible experience!!!! :(

We recently bought an entire kitchen package from Tri-River Appliance, and they were absolutely fabulous to work with. Michelle was extremely knowledgeable in helping us select the appliances that would best serve our needs. She was extremely prompt in returning telephone calls and emails, and she was always professional, kind, and cheery. I highly recommend Tri-River Appliance, and again, I cannot thank Michelle enough for her insight and expertise.

We bought and paid for a stove in November. They said it would take a few weeks. We waited and waited and not a word from the store. We called in January and, it was back ordered, but they never told us. Then, they said it would be in, a couple of weeks - again never a call. Finally, in February, after we called again they told us that it was, no longer available from manufacturer and would we want another stove?I can only say that they cater to a high end clientele and were not happy that we did not want a more expensive model. Terrible customer relations and poor communication skills coupled with poor management decisions. Would not shop there again.
