Mary assisted me today and did a great job. She was able to work her magic with my vision insurance and benefits. She found hundreds of dollars in savings for me. I love this place because they get you what you need and there is no sales pitch at all. Also the practice is clean and spaced out, they observed social distancing and had masks available.

I stopped at this location on my way home just to see if I could find any glasses I liked. I found a pair, and asked if I could get an idea of the price with lenses before ordering. I just got my new insurance this week so I had no idea if I had any discounts or anything. One of the employees took my insurance card and called them on my behalf. Meanwhile, the assistant manager Mary was fantastic and so friendly; she took my measurements while we waited. She also showed me a rough estimate if I did end up having the discount. Once I actually get my insurance paperwork that shows the coverage I hope to be back to order glasses from Mary!

I went to the same eye clinic for the past 20 years until I visited Dr. Bailey in January when my clinic was booked out. Dr. Bailey always thoughtfully answers all of my questions about all things eye related. He is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. During my most recent visit to target optical further exceeded my expectations by scheduling me a same day appointment in order to address a more pressing eye concern. Dr. Bailey kept me calm and informed through the entire process. I truly do not have enough positive things to say about Dr. Bailey and the entire target optical team.

Ok..so..is there ANYBODY that enjoys getting a glaucoma test?? That little puff right to your eyeball?!? Not me!! Ive been walking around for a year with string tied holding my glasses together avoiding a glaucoma test. But it was time..so in I went... Mary at Target Optical made the entire experience, from the moment I stepped up to the entry of the store all the way through to the end, the very best experience Ive had..ever..at a Dr appt! Not only was she kind, informative and just plain funny..turns out shes an awesome coworker as well. I was there on a Friday..Red Friday. All the technicians were wearing a red shirt, made by Mary and her daughter, to support a coworkers son who is currently deployed ( and Im so sorry I forgot her name because she made the whole experience that much better).All of the technicians work together so well and genuinely seem to really enjoy what they do and each other and it shows in the way they treat their customers.Dr Bailey...he was so fantastic as well!! Took his time to talk to me and really was thorough. I learned a lot. He even told my husband to jump in the chair so he could see his eye injury from a few years ago.So all in all...I would give Target Optical of Monticello 20 stars!!!! I would personally like to thank Dr. Bailey and Jan, They made taking two kids, a husband and myself to the eye doctor so easy. They were very organized, kind and efficient.I work full time Monday to Friday and my husband is an over the road truck driver and he is only home 3 days a month. To find an optometrist that works weekends and that knows their stuff is rare. So I was beyond thrilled when I found Dr. Bailey.Dr. Bailey was great with our three year old, he was very patient and kind. He didnt rush her and I felt he did a great exam, he even explained things to me in ways that I could understand. Dr. Bailey was great with our teenager and actually was the first to diagnose him with being colour blind. He took the time to answer all my sons questions and mine. He even went as far as to tell out teenager if he had any questions to give him a call and that he would be more than happy to talk to him.My husband is a trucker, Dr. Bailey did his exam and then took him outside with the perception my husband needed, because truckers rely on seeing more distance than others and wanted my husband to see the difference. This is the first time I have ever seen a doctor or even hear a doctor do this! My husband was so impressed that a doctor would care enough to do something like this.As for me I had a great experience! back home I never had my eyes dilated before so I have always been a bit scared to have this done. A few years ago I went to a different optometrist who dilated my eyes for the first time and it was a horrible experience! So I was very reluctant to go to another optometrist, I asked around my work and someone told me about Dr. Bailey and how much they loved him and that he never dilated their eyes before. Im so glad they recommended him.Dont be put off because their office is in Target, Dr. Bailey is the best optometrist I have ever seen. Sometimes people are put off by optometrists in stores because they assume they are either new or not a great doctor this is so untrue! Please make an appointment and go see Dr. Bailey you will not regret it!

I’ve been going to Dr. Bailey for about 10 years. He and his team are absolutely wonderful. Thursday was my daughter’s very first appointment. We were pretty sure she’d need glasses. Dr. Bailey was comforting and informative throughout the entire examination process. He helped my 4 year old through the whole process and explained the how’s and why’s to me along the way (it’s different for the really little kids than it is for the rest of us). After the exam, Hoesung helped her pick out her very first frames. Hoesung showed her all the frames that would fit her face and helped her try on and pick a really pretty one that made her happy. Hands down the best experience.

Honestly Im not sure how I ever picked glasses without the assistance of the super experts at Target Optical, Mary and Amber.
