As soon as I walked in to Select Eye Care, I knew I was going to like it here. I was greeted by the ladies upfront right away, and they made me feel comfortable. Shere helped me pick out my frames and with my measurements, which she pretty much nailed it because when my glasses came in, she only had to tweek them a little bit. Dr. Jean was awesome! She was patient with me and answered all my questions...My appt was at 3pm and I was done by 3:45pm. And, my glasses only took 3 days to get..I am very pleased with my experience and will recommend this place to my family and friends...

My first time here in 2020 was amazing. The male doctor (unsure of his name) was super professional, answered all my questions, was so kind. Today I went there and saw the female doctor (again unsure of name) and that was enough to make me not want to ever go back. My appointment was at 3:30. I got in right away. Great! The lady was super unprofessional looking, as she was wearing sweatpants, flip flops, and a baggy shirt. Im not one to judge what you wear, but at work you should dress with some respect. I was explaining some symptoms I was having and she blew them off as allergies. Recommended some eyedrops, even after I thoroughly explained Ive seen an allergist and allergies were not the cause. Then she was asking about medications I take. I said what I take, what theyre for, and why I take them. She said the stomach issues Im having are from my eyes. Sorry, but no. Youre not my doctor. I have many medical problems including celiac so I know what my symptoms are from. Everything and anything I said and tried to explain she did not listen to. She did not care. When it was time to dialate my eyes it was 3:50. She had me sit in the waiting room to wait for the drops to work. She called next person after next and ignored me. The drops were working. I had to squint and close my eyes. I asked for sunglasses and was told there are none. They do not give them out. I asked about the flimsy paper ones and again was told no. So I sat back down. It is now 4:45!! The doctor had called the next person so I stood up and asked when she was going to check my eyes. She asked the next person if it was okay. Why would you ask if it was okay? My appointment was at 3:30. I have been here long enough. She brought me back into the room and was trying to say they were backed up because a lightbulb went out. I was there. I saw it. It took no more than two minutes to replace. Pretty lousy excuse if you ask me. She also kept touching areas around my eyes (to move my eye around) without washing her hands or putting gloves on. Wont be surprised if I wake up with an infection. Also didnt bother to wipe down anything after my face was on it. Not only are we in the midst of a pandemic, but flu season. Its just common sense to clean things after theyve been used! Even if there wasnt a pandemic. After being told I have cataracs at age 23 I asked a few questions; is this genetic? Could my thyroid have caused this? After being told no its from being on my phone I was done with her. Im on screens way less than the average person. I know this wasnt the cause because if it was, everybody would have cataracs. After calling an ophthalmologist I find out they ARE genetic and ARE also from hyperthyroid. Blue light has no part. I have hyperthyroid and cataracs run in the family. Not sure who allowed her to be a doctor since everything she told me was wrong. Will NOT be going back. If I ever do, it will NOT be an appointment with her. Im very understanding. The fact that I was upset enough to write this review should be saying quite enough.

Ive been going here for years. I love how the staff are behind the desk. They are so helpful friendly. My daughter has been doing a contact lens class to put them in and the lady is so nice. She really does her job great and likes it. Im so pleased with the service. And the doctor is very nice has well. She explains everything about the appointment when you are there.

Okay, this is the BEST place ever, they actually listen to you, they are honestly trying to help you out. Friendly and professional. Not in a rush. The Dr, is very cool, answers every question doesn’t talk down to ya. Great place ! ❤️ I will be back and I will tell my friends to check it out too.

I needed to get new glasses and the front desk workers were both very helpful and helped me find the kind of frames I was looking for and my glasses only took 4 days to get here even though they said it could take up to 2 weeks!

After taking my 10 yr old to his check up she suggested that we have an eye exam done. Dr.Jean Layman at Select eye care got him in and sure enough he needed glasses. It only took a couple of days and we already got them back! My family will be returning to Select eye care for all our eye care needs!

Came in here nervous, thinking can they really help me? Will they give me good advice? Will they be honest with me or just be a sales person pushing me to buy the high-end stuff so they can make a buck? This was DEFINITELY not the case SHERE VOGELPOHL was the most magnificent woman you could ever meet! She was so helpful with everything! She went above and beyond to assist me with my needs and guide me to the right direction. She stayed after hours just to help me find the perfect glasses that fit me and Im over the moon happy with what I got with her help! She also guided me to get this glare reflection lens thing that truely matters especially with how bad my eyes are. Not only did she help me with that she went out of her way to pay out of her own pocket to get me an upgraded glare protection thing for my glasses. Thank you so much Shere for your kindness and uplifting kind words that helped me build my self-esteem just that much more, and mostly your generosity and support through this whole process! Your and amazing women and I look forward to seeing anytime I may need to come back there!! I recommend you to everyone in the world because I know youll lift there spirits just like you did mine! Friendly staff, competitive prices, good quality eye care products is why I choose to make this my preferred eyecare store when I need glasses, sunglasses and accessories.

Very poor customer service. I was talked down to the whole time and the lady at the desk was so rude. I felt stupid asking any questions. The eye doctor rushed me through the appointment and my prescription ended up being wrong.
