This location apparently doesn’t understand what a commercial account is here.I get big discounts on some items, smaller on others, one example is wiper blades. It was pouring rain and my GMC 2500 took 18” wiper blades, I ran in to grab some here and gave them my commercial account info and the guy says, “Since I don’t do commercial accounts I’ll just do the invoice as a DIY checkout.”So I got a small discount, got home an hour later and checked the receipt. Where I should’ve been charged $15 per wiper blade, I got charged the full retail amount of $25.99. Same goes for the floor mats I got for a customer, should’ve been $16, it was $38.99.Went back in to complain and the guy said, ”I don’t know what to tell you, I don’t do commercial accounts.”Basically if you are a retail customer I guess come here, but this is the 3rd time they have done this with my commercial account.

Definitely less than impressed with this store, I went in for a new gas cap and had the guy type in my vehicle information only for him to sell me the wrong one. Luckily I hadn’t left yet and went back in to tell them it wasn’t correct and the older gentleman who sold me the gas cap didn’t seem to care a whole lot that he sold me the incorrect part…Was in there today attempting to fix something on my car and purchase a tool set with some sockets, turned out it wasn’t magnetic which was my fault and one of the employees was outside on his phone and I asked him if they had anything magnetic in that same tool and he said no we ain’t got nothing like that here. I said ok and went back inside to get something else and told another employee what I really needed and he said oh you mean this?….disappointing because I’ve been an autozone customer since 2010. Be on guard. Update 09/15/21 went into this autozone today and asked a question and was told idk you’d have to google it….definitely not going back if you can’t do your job and help customers. Pretty good staff and a lot of small car things to personalize your vehicles. Ordered one part, they got me the wrong side and had to drive to get one from another location. But they did give me a discount for my troubles.
Friendly and very helpful staff. Always will to help find the part you need or give advice or repairs.

The only way to get corporate attention is to write a bad review? Been contacting the regional office manager for months now, only for me to be ignored, I was sold the wrong parts for my car to have them destroy my engine in the car; AutoZone is not willing to take any responsibility for this. I would advise everyone to stay clear of this company as a whole, they don’t warrantee anything nor do they have the competency to sell you the proper parts to back you up. This mistake by Auto Zone has cost me thousands of dollars, the managers and regional have all been contacted and even corporate only to copy and paste an obscure response to my emails and reviews, you can also see this with the responses with reviews, it’s all very unipersonal and a giant gaff off, I’ll just take your money thank you very much and disappear from any responsibility or warranty. If you do get a callback, all they do is tell you what you want to hear, “get a quote for the fix and will take care of it”, only to have them ignore you when it comes time to pay up. I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO STAY CLEAR OF THIS CORPORATION. Update: within 24 hours of writing this Review i was called by the regional Manager and sent a check for 1/2 of the bill for replacement of the engine, i just received the check today 3-1-2021 and am eating crow right now for this review. thank you Auto Zone for working with me on this issue.
I will never go to Monticello again. Every time the store manager helps me. He sells me the wrong parts and I always have to go back or to another store to get the correct parts. Ill only go to Elk River. At least they know what theyre doing.

The staff here has been especially helpful, we have recently moved to this area and when I went into the store and asked about parts due to a vehicle breakdown at new house they said we dont have it in stock but can have it in by 4pm and can deliver it to your new home.. Way above normal customer service, would rate even higher but only allowed 5 stars

They gave me a wrong part. I struggle to fit to the car. I called and asked the right part number, and found out wrong one. I returned it. No one apologize! They waste my time!
Cory O. And Cody up here at Monticello Auto Zone are the greatest guys ever. Went into exchange an alternator under warranty they were so great and had the best personalities I have ever encountered at an auto parts store.
They had what I needed and helped me get the best deal on the items. Online cheaper but I waited until the last minute so I could not wait. I appreciate they had everything I needed.
Nice and clean location employees are usually knowledgeable prices are high compared to online options however they normally have what Ive needed in stock

I was towing a trailer on I94, and everything electrical turned off in my car (ac, radio, blinkers, etc...) but the car kept running. I figured the alternator probably died, and my car was running on battery, so in a pinch, not knowing how far I would get, I navigated to the nearest AutoZone. They had a replacement alternator in stock, and lent me all the tools I needed to change it in their parking lot. They charged my battery while I was working on my car, and tested my alternator after it was out to confirm it was bad. Ultimately I was on the road again 1.5 hours later. Top notch customer service by these guys!!

Every time I have been in there the staff has been extremely helpful, one of the guys asked if I was driving a certain car based off of the bulb I bought and suggested that I use a certain bulb grease on the next install as it wouldHelp solve my problem. Very Knowledgeable guy.

Terrible customer service! Apparently they dont like black people or monkeys as all the staff were saying. I am absolutely appalled at the behavior of the staff here.
Stopped at AutoZone due to what I expect is a leaking tire valve. Without asking any further questions, the employee directed me to a tire slime and used the words promise and guarantee that it would solve the problem. Seeing that is his profession and his high level of confidence, I took his word for it. Got to Kwik Trip, let the tire go flat as directed, used the slime product, and the tire didnt fill up with any air. I called the Auto Zone and spoke to the same employee and told him it didnt work. After repeatedly saying wow, it should have worked, there was nothing else he recommended or offered me. I would recommend buying products from this store if you know what you need however do not rely on the employees information/recommendation.

Will never go here again went for a wipperblade was unsher how to install it. Was told when I asked if I can get some help Conner T replyed we dont send are employes out into the tundra. Dude you live in Minnesota get used to it. Need I say more.

I am very disappointed with the gentleman that charged my wife $50.00 to unlock her van after being locked out when her key fob battery died. He sold her a battery for her key fob, then when she still was unable to get in, he PERSONALLY charged her $50.00 for his locksmithing services while he was on the clock with autozone. If I was working for autozone I would help a customer in need just for the sake of being kind, and to provide an excellent experience that would likely retain that customer for life, not take advantage of someone in need so I can pocket $50.00 for a 5 minute job. This location has officially lost my business forever. I will be going to napa for all my auto parts from now on
