Boba is made fresh! Softer and chewier than pre-made boba. And they much flavors directly into the dough (not like popping boba). A bit pricier than regular boba milk tea, but yummy.
Good tea, great tapioca/boba. The boba us handmade so sometimes you can see that process.
Yummy! Our first time and got the Brulee Oreo Matcha Milk Tea and the Brown Sugar Milk Tea and it so yummy
I like trying new boba drink places and i found this one on my web searches. It sounded intriguing cause they make flavored boba. Though it is a nice concept, you cant really taste the boba flavor. The cup size they offer seems a bit small for a medium drink and for the price they are charging. For me, it just wasnt worth it. The taste of their drinks was meh too. I would recommend this place if you are curious about trying it out. It may be to your liking if you dont try it.
One Zo has the best boba in town! Make sure you get the cream cheese top if they have it. I think they call it snow capped. The icecream is great but if you dont want it the traditional way, with red beans in it, tell them as you are ordering! Other than that, this place is amazing and the boba was 10/10!! I will definitely be coming back here.
Nice boba milk tea, but not worth 30 minutes or more for your drink to get served. It would have received a 4/5 but service is terrible here. Waited 30 minutes for my drink on top of the 15 minutes I waited to place my order. When I placed my order, they were on order 26. My order number was 31. They were single drink orders, and most of these drinks are premixed so that left me confused. I don’t think I’ll be back even though the boba was good.
Refreshing drinks. Boba is fresh and great tasting!! Would visit again.
Terrible service. We were standing there ordering for about 5 minutes using their iPad that times out randomly making you restart your order. Then we find out AFTER we ordered that they dont have any boba, which is why anyone would come to this establishment in the first place!? You could at least put a sign out front or somewhere on the three giant screens you have??
Saw this placed promoted on facebook for making their own inhouse boba. My daughter is a fan of it, and decided to stop by. This is located inside an open mall with plenty of underground parking. I was surprised to find a line, given we arrived an hour before closing time on a saturday night. The wait was 20-25 mnts +5-10, addition to get your order. Really depends on your order and number of items. To my taste, i couldnt taste the difference between the commercially produced bobas balls. However, what took the night was their shaved ice cream, which I found refreshing and delicious. In sum, its a trendy place for the local young crowd, not my cup of tea, but my daughter like the quality of ingrdients and my wife loved the shaved ice cream.
Nice place; delicious drinks; support Taiwan franchise businesses 👍👍🇹🇼🇹🇼🇹🇼
The texture of their boba is absolutely soft and chewy and definitely very fresh.I liked the Charcoal milk tea with boba infused with sesame flavor.I did not like the matcha milk tea as I felt like they used pretty cheap matcha powder and this is why I am taking of a star. I guess matcha milk tea is always a hit or miss in boba places.Their milk tea is decent, comes with 3 different bobas which were all had a good texture.Overall, its mediocre. I don’t recommend the matcha drink but I do recommend charcoal sesame. Although their boba is good, I feel like their drinks can be improved.
The fruit tea with chrysanthemum boba and the brown sugar milk tea with brown sugar boba were bomb! Both drinks had the perfect amount of sweetness level and the boba was super soft (sort of melts in your mouth). The fruit tea was very refreshing and they included large pieces of fruit. As for the milk tea, I loved how it was not super thick or made me feel lethargic afterwards.Fortunately, our wait time was only 5 minutes on a Saturday afternoon but I heard it gets rough sometimes.
My favorite boba place. Love the variety of boba
I heard about this place for awhile but have not had chance to try. We finally tried the brown sugar milk tea and jasmine milk tea. It was good, fast service. Honey boba is my favorite so far. They make their own boba with different flavors. Black sesame boba is grayish-black; matcha is green; taro is purple; honey is golden; and beet is red.
$6.00 for a drink...not worth the price
When I walked into the establishment no greeting from workers. Walked up to the counter to ask a question in regards to the menu and worker did not want to assist. Workers told me two times to take my order on kiosk but when other customer entered the door they took their orders right away. I’m not saying this was a racial thing but my family and I were the only African Americans in the room. I will NOT EVER spend a dime or visit this establishment again. If I could give zero stars I would.
Past by One Zo when having lunch in the same plaza and seeing them doing a fundraiser for Red Cross. Half of their sales goes directly toward Red Cross. I like how they put a sign out to attract me to go in. Maybe because of the event, I waited long enough but it was worth my wait.Drink: I tried their New drinks which called Tiger Tea, which is a Brown Sugar Series. I tried the Brown Sugar Black Tea Latte. The drink itself is very standard but what brought me a good day is their boba. Their boba is very soft that the inside of boba is not hard. I remember that the ones I tried at other places are hard inside.Menu: Very beloved menu, simple, clear, and also cute most importantly! The pictures are taken very professional that I could not really make a decision on what to get. They all look so good that it took me a while to decide. Even they dont have as many choices as other places but I do like their way of selling the best of the best!Service: Among of all, I would say their service is good. I think they can speed up the line by changing a system like Starbucks or others that print a sticker and stick on the cup so the people who make drinks wont make mistakes.Interior: cute bunny to take picture with, the place is not big enough to be hanging around. I definitely recommending everyone to come try their boba. Very chewy. Very freshy.
I had the bamboo charcoal latte with matcha boba (their special boba for the day). The drink it self wasnt amazing but was good. Havent really tasted anything like it so the flavor was interesting. However, it was still quite sweet with 25% sweetness. I was initially skeptical about how much you could taste the flavor in the boba but surprisingly you could really taste the matcha in the boba. Will come back to try their black sesame boba.
Pretty good. Especially nice when the girls are cute and friendly like they were today (3 13 2020). Be careful mixing random Boba flavors with tea flavors they can clash if you dont think about it before you order.
Really tasty drinks. I recommend the brown sugar drinks or the fruit smoothie. The honey boba is the star: really well made, just chewy enough but not hard. It is perfect. Come try it.
I liked the drinks. Its different. They have variety
Really good taro boba, I like it with no boba. Big Smiles.
Got our order wrong. Forgot to give us vanilla ice cream in our egg waffle. After I reminded them, they returned with taro ice cream. Realizing they made the mistake again, they hastly scooped out the taro and replaced with vanilla with bits of taro.Otherwise the sesame milk tea was excellent.
Good drinks. Things here are well made and its always interesting to see the boba being made. If you like a heavy tea flavor I wouldnt come here as the drinks definitely are tipped more towards the flavoring than the tea. Overall a good place.
Love the taro-taro drink
Their milk tea is really good, not too sweet and the store is really cute, perfect for friends gathering.
Had a brown sugar milk tea. While boba is not bad, milk tea tastes really horrible. Not to mention its pricey. This place was packed and crazy long line when they just opened. No wonder dont see that anymore. Probably the worst boba drink I have ever had.
Great place
Always went to the one in West Covina and it quickly became my favorite boba place. Happen to be out here and went 10 minutes out of my way to get this boba, passing plenty of other places on the way. The service was nothing special, the menu is out dated, I had a mix of old stale boba and fresh boba, my tea was not as cold as I personally would like even after mixing the warm boba and ice together, and the non slush brulee was still very thick with matcha and the brulee stuff. If I had not gone to the other location I probably would not return. Underwhelming but not bad.I got the black sesame tea with black sesame boba, boyfriend got the oreo brulee matcha tea with taro boba. Its fine.
Some of the best boba in town. Hand made boba makes a difference.
I got the matcha brown sugar drink with brown sugar boba and let me tell you.... I usually never add on boba but this boba went so well with the drink and was the best I ever had. Next time Ill try the brown sugar milk tea, but I loved that flavor mixed with matcha as well. Its perfect half sweet.
Very delicious drinks! The atmosphere is pretty down to earth and relaxing. Service is friendly. Currently the typical stamp card is offered as a discount.
Great tea!!! ate at 7pm,can not sleep until 5am🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
The boba here is so tasty and I love all the tea combinations. The boba is made in house and you can watch them making it from scratch. There is often a long line but I think that it is worth it. I also had the ice cream in the special cone which was awesome.
I REALLY wanted to like this place but Ive been here twice and its just not my cup of tea.I love that they make their own boba so I was really excited to try their drinks! First time I ordered a milk tea with one zo boba (keepin it simple haha) and the milk tea tasted underwhelming. There was a flavor I really didnt like and I figured it was the tea so I was willing to try again. Second time I got the black tea latte with one zo boba. I ordered on the ipad and there was a little confusion over my order. I was called up and they asked me what boba I wanted for the drink so I guess the one zo might actually be like a combo of three boba of your choice? Unsure. I asked for the caramel, honey, and sweet potato like it said on the menu and then my drink came out promptly. The drink itself was a lot better! But I think I dont like the sweetener they use for their boba :/ It reminded me of black licorice and I hate black licorice. Im not gonna rate lower than three stars though because other people might be into that flavor and the tea itself was pretty good. If Im in the area and with someone who wants to try I think Id come back and try the brown sugar milk tea with brown sugar boba because I know I like brown sugar haha
I love their cozy place to enjoy our time in the store, and weekday is the best solution to come here. Also, it is the place to eat chewy handmaded boba as well. However, the drinks itself is a little bit too sweet even the staff say is 50% sugar. Therefore, I hope next time I come for a drinks here is much better than my first time.
I love taro so it is my go to at any boba spot. That being said I got a taro milk tea with honey boba. It wasnt bad it wasnt particularly great. The honey boba is chewy which I liked. So, its worth a try if youre in the area
It had very nice boba. You could even see them make the boba through the window. It was very chewy and soft. Not like some other boba shops where they have very hard boba
Ive been here twice. The first time, the boba didnt taste as chewy. I got the regular milk tea with the different color/flavored boba. It sounds cool and looks cool, but it didnt taste as flavorful or fresh as Id hoped. The second time I came, I got the black sesame boba. Im assuming the boba for black sesame isnt going to be as chewy, so that was fine. It was interesting if you like black sesame. However, the tea I got, was not as fragrant as Ten Rens. I think Ill stick to Ten Rens because their boba is always cooked to perfection and their tea is fragrant.
This place is the worst!! I’m 100% Taiwanese so I know what good boba is. This place is a health hazard because they don’t wear hair nets or anything besides gloves and that’s it when making the boba at the window. There was a girl with extreme long hair and her hair went inside the boba pot!! I also find it super weird that the girls wear super short short with the skin touching the boba as well. I also witnessed the girls who spoke completely in Mandarin bully one of the other girls. I can always hear the girls snickering in Mandarin and talk about their coworkers. It’s super hot in the store as well which is weird... do they not have AC? Go somewhere else please! Save your money and go somewhere else (where authentic Taiwanese boba and desserts are served and have good customer service). Go to WuShiLand in San Gabriel! 50嵐!
Yum. Chrysenthemum boba milk tea . . . Great service, too
I love the freshly made Boba there (especially the black sesami). The staff there is nice and you get to see the boba being made
They were out of what i ordered. Their milk boba drinks are not blended and the flavor is very bland. Tried it once and that was too many times.
Fresh make boba with awesome great flavor. Must try
Was quite disappointed ! The handmade boba texture was too mushy and soft (unless you like that), the flavor of the milk tea was also a bit subpar. Not sure why there is so much hype for this place.
Line can be long on the weekends and around 5pm on weekdays. Worth the wait though. My favorite of their boba is the black sesame one.
Phenomenal boba. The golden and black sesame boba are must trys. Drinks are nothing particularly special, but overall great place to get drinks and hang out.
Delicious boba. We came here because of seeing the Insider video about them making their boba pearls in house, and the difference in taste is worth trying for yourself. The Chrysanthemum boba and Taro boba were my favorites, and service was quick and efficient.
Everything was amazing. Only thing not A+is the super long wait. Be warned.
Nice drinks and boba location
Fresh and handmade delicious boba made right in the shop throughout the day. Fresh boba texture is very different from other typical boba places. Great selection of cold and hot artisan drinks that match well with the different boba flavors. They also serve food like egg puff and shaved ice!
The tea and boba are both good. The only downside is the price. $6 for a couple of boba tea seems abit pricey given u could find lunch special with $6 in the area. But over all is a good cup of boba tea.
Only boba is delicious. The drink tasty no good.
Wait is very long for a boba place. The tea is okay, but their specialty is their boba which is handmade. It is by far the softest boba Ive had. I wish it came with honey though.
I first tried one zo in Taiwan, Ximending area. It was truly amazing!I was excited to hear about this 626 location, knowing I could visit on my frequent trips to LA.First, as you probably know by now, their boba is freshly made in house. Some people might find the boba too soft or too chewy, which is a shame because youve probably never had fresh boba and are now used to a certain consistency. I find the honey boba simply outstanding, warm and chewy; just the right amount of firmness, i.e. al dente.I like the brown sugar milk tea; the mix is really tasty.I also get the fruit tea, filled with fruit pieces and very refreshing. The matcha and charcoal sesame are both ok, worth a try. The sesame bobas are interesting, good if you like sesame.I would recommend getting the drinks less sweet, because I think most are pretty sweet. One Zo is definitely good in my book. Maybe the tea is not quite up to Taiwan standards and not as strong, but overall still a great place that I will enjoy coming back.
This is one of the few places that actually makes their boba from scratch! They have an area inside the shop where they knead the though, then feed the boba dough through a machine. You can absolutely taste the different between fresh made boba versus premade boba. The texture is softer, bouncier (al dente).I love that they have different flavors like black sesame, taro, honey, etc. and they are always experimenting with new seasonal drinks. Love this place!!
Ive tried just about all the numbered drinks on their menu. My favorite is the bamboo charcoal latte with black sesame boba. I asked for 50% sugar as I dont like too sweet in my boba teas. Their sell here is the homemade bobas. I have to say the black sesame bobas are really good. Their honey boba is just okay in my opinion. I had to dock a star because some of their other drinks are not the best. The uji matcha is pretty good. I would say thats my runner up. Theres usually a line on the weekends but come here during the weekday and there is never any line. There is free parking since its inside the Atlantic Square!
This place has great potential but my experience was horrible. I discovered this place from Facebook and I had high hopes for it. But right when I walked in the line was out of order and no employee bothered to guide us the right direction just to place an order! The menu seemed really limited for the things I had heard on Facebook I thought it would have more options. Okay let me just get to the point! This place has bad employees no one is friendly. No employee was helpful to explain the menu and the girl working the register had her hair down! And kept flipping her hair on to the boba tray that was right behind her! This place is out order, no great menu choices, and staff did not make it any easier! Don’t come here if you expect a great customer service experience! Or if you want to find a hair in your boba!
Boba is alright, a bit on the soft side. Milk tea is way too disappointing, it’s below LA average standard. Taste like water downed milk tea.
The drinks and boba taste alright. I got the black sesame boba milk tea and although they make their boba in-house, the one I tried was kind of gross. The texture and taste of the black sesame in the boba is strange because while you chew, theres a grittiness from the black sesame. The wait wasnt too bad because I went a few weeks after the hype from some video, but there was still a line almost out the door.
Great drinks with house-made flavored boba and excellent service!!
THe caramel milk tea wasnt that good it was bitter. The boba was ok. Can you use black sugar instead of white. It makes it no flavor. The black tea drink it tasted like water.
I walked by this place after the movie, and I was attracted by a guy who is making he boba. You can directly see how they do the the hand made boba from outside which is so cool. The design of this store is so beautiful, and bobas are amazing. Taste great and its fresh which totally different from other boba drinks. We ordered the One Zo boba that has three different flavors with different color. They are looking soooooo good. Its like colorful crystals inside of your drink. Great boba shop like what they said The art of boba.
Definitely a top 5 boba place for us. We were able to customize our tea from black to green with the Caramel Milk Tea and it was brewed perfectly with caramel flavored boba! Yummy. They were out of Matcha Tea and Black Sesame Boba so I settled for Honey Green Tea with Mango Boba which was perfect at less sweet. They have a punch card which is a huge plus vs a punch system through technology. The line moves quick and the staff is friendly and informative.
One Zo is a good boba shop; however, it does have some flaws. One Zo opened up in the Monterey Times Square plaza recently (as of this posting) and has attracted a massive number of people due to a video which illustrates the creation of its in-house boba. I bypassed One Zo before this video, and each time that I passed by, it had zero customers, or it had two customers. After the video, there are lines out of the door and stretching past the nearby beauty store.I decided to try One Zo with three other friends to see whether or not it met the hype. In totality, it was good; however, under the current circumstances, I wouldnt go again.I started waiting in line around 2 PM and didnt reach the inside of the store until about 25-30 minutes had passed. At this moment, I looked inside and noticed that it was a smaller, cozy store with about ten tables and predominantly white decor. I looked around for any signs of a menu, and I didnt immediately see one. I then headed to the front of the line and found it lying on the table for us to grab. After another 10-15 minutes, I reached the register and ordered the drinks: Uji Matcha Latte with crystal boba 25% sweet, One Zo Milk Tea with their triple boba (honey, taro, and caramel) 25% sweet, and Bamboo Charcoal Latte with black sesame boba 25% sweet. At this point, we were looking for a place to sit down and were lucky since a 4-person table just vacated. We waited another 10 minutes until they employees called our number. In totality, I spent about an hour waiting for the drinks. When we tried the drinks, the only one that stood out was the Bamboo Charcoal Latte. The other two drinks werent anything special. The Uji Matcha Latte didnt taste very strongly of matcha. If anything, it was a light taste of matcha and the rest was a milky taste. As for the One Zo Milk Tea, it had hints of a roasted tea flavor and was also sweet for 25% sugar. The Bamboo Charcoal Latte reminded us of a black sesame flavor, and it paired well with the boba itself. For a drink that costs $6 for a 24-oz, I thought it was a bit on the pricey side especially with the tea quality. The boba was appealing to have it made in-house as it tasted softer than the pre-packed variants, but we noticed that the boba started hardening within the 25 minutes we stayed inside of the store. Also, I wasnt able to taste the difference in the three boba varieties when I was drinking the One Zo Boba Milk Tea. If they were isolated individually, it might have been better, but I couldnt taste it immediately.Overall, the wait time and the price of the drinks for the quality paid didnt meet my expectations. The, almost, 1-hour wait for the drinks and the fact that two of the three bobas werent good disappointed me. Once the hype dies down and the store stabilizes, I think I might revisit One Zo; however, I dont think I will be going back anytime soon until that happens as there are other boba shops with a better price point.Edit: I also dislike how they responded to practically all of the reviews with a generic message.
Its packed in here! Everyone wants some of this fresh boba joint. They have bingsoo, boba and fossilmans ice cream here. The crazy cool thing about this place is they make boba from scratch. They even have a see thru room near the entrance where you can see them make it. Bobas are super Q and full of flavor, Id go as far as to say these are the best bobas in SGV.Give this hot place a try if you want some quality desserts.
The boba is good, but the tea is pretty bad, way too much milk and i went with 9 other people so it wasnt a small sample size. Maybe they were having an off day.
Got the milk tea with black sesame boba... Tea was disappointing and the boba wasnt all that. Not worth the 5.50 #itsallhype
Boba made in house you can taste the difference!
Great home boba very delish
Delicious Korean flavor 😉
Usually busy but worth the wait!
Really good and great customer service
I like the boba.
Boffo. A good one.
Great homemade boba.
Yummy boba place!!
Good boba, but a long wait
Don’t care how good the drink is, if the wait is excruciatingly long, then it is excruciatingly painful to drink.
