Nice interesting Chinese/Asian grocery store. I found products that reminded of my time in Guangzhou.

My go-to Asian supermarket.Parking is plenty, there’s a big lot in front and a small one on the other side next to the hotel. They’re both connected but parking in the big lot is easier to get in and out of and the spaces aren’t compact.

The meat was fresh and priced reasonably. The shelves were fully stocked. The parking was not leveled. It was hard to push the shopping cart.

Great selection and prices. Love shopping here and then eating at Happy Family vegetarian restaurant after!

Selections are good. Like every where else, prices are high on everything. At a time, customers can find bargains buying vegie from Asian markets, not any more, store like super king beats their hinnies straight down. But, where can one finds the Selections of sea food like at GW?

I was here on Monday February 12th with my wife and it was great as when it was Shun Fat. Fresh fish/seafood and they will even cut & fry it for you. Nice selection of vegetables/fruits and Asian items. Parking lot off Emerson St

Fully stocked Asian supermaket. Was looking for chinese brocolli. They have only the small variety. They have almost everyrhing here from fresh produce, kitchen stuff, hard to find groceries to asian candies. Very well maintained and clean. They also have stand to sample some items. Went out with several items to cook and sample. I like their pork and mushroom balls. Will comeback.

The fish are big and very fresh. Also thier assortment of delicacies and snack will never cease to surprise me. They even have watch repairs, which are bonus points for me. Great place to shop.

The whole shopping experience is above average. Price generally cheap.

I go shopping here very often, the cashiers and employees are all friendly/hard working people and always kind in the midst of a pandemic & all the panic buying. Cashiers are always willing to go above and beyond to help customers find what they are looking for.

Love this supermarket! My parents come here weekly to get free boxes of masks for every $50 spent. They have collected more than 5-6 boxes.This market has really fresh fruit and veggies and great packaged foods. Comprehensive selection of vegetarian foods such as tofu, frozen fare, dried things, vegetarian dumplings and gyoza. I would really recommend this market for its big selection and very good prices. It’s also clean snd spacious!

A nice supermarket to get your stuff, especially for some Asian items.

A variety of Asian produces can be purchased here. It is clean, organized and stocked with fresh fish, crabs, meats and vegetables. The noodle isle is extensive with a variety of rice too. I loved the snack isle. The staff was super friendly and they helped carry the bags to the car.

The place is very clean, the vegetables and fruits are fresh, the staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Just beware that they close 10 minuntes before closing and fhe security will rudely say its closed.

If you are not Asian (like myself) it is a wonderful ride to unknown but incredible edible products. If you like to discover products and try to figure out what they are, or how to cook them, or imagine the flavors, this is the place to be.

I bought some meat 🥩 at GW maker place 2 days ago, today I wanted to cook it but it turned brown, I noticed the label said packed on November 27, and I purchased it on November 25. I returned the meat without any money back. The place smells nasty. I don’t believe its really clean specially the meat area. They sale a lot of expired things, check before you buy.

For those who are wondering this place has rice seasoning (furikake) and sweet rice. It also has a wide selection of instant noodles. There really on top of their mask policy so thats good. Pretty good market.

Well(suitably) air-conditioned, and large inventory/selection. I went shopping on a hot day so its nice to get out of the heat[99°]. Also all employees/staff wear masks and gloves

Love this store. I just wish more of their employees spoke English. Good service though.

Diverse selection of produce. Fairly solid selection of Asian grocery items as well. Slightly dirty outside distracts from the cleaner interior.

If compare with Asian market around Montery Park, San Grabriel city- I would say this is the best Asian market for now . How? Good stuff, clean, organized well and I love this place so much.

Lot of Asian groceries supplies. Various kind of live sea food, fish crab, lobster, shrimps. Price are very reasonable and lower than other Asian markets. Free parking.

I hate their pricing. Eventhough the one in Monterey Park and Rosemead are franchises, they have ridiculously different prices. So watch out! Unlike 99 Ranch Market, 99 has the same prices between franchise.

This place was formerly known as Shun Fats it has since been remodeled and is now known as GW Supermarket. It has been cleaned up significantly and is more modern in its layout. Great place for Asian groceries, fresh live fish, vegetables and meat.

I remember going to Shun Fat Supermarket with my family as a little kid; the market was filthy, but the groceries are at a fair price. Now it is named Great Wall, the interior looks clean. They had great selection of produce, meat, and seafood, but a bit pricey.

Ownership changed and so they stopped carrying many brands and types of food.What is worse is that the clerks roughly handle the food you purchase. Why is it OK to smash delicate produce?There are plenty of other options around. Id prefer to never shop at this place again.

Its so fun shopping here. They have super fresh fish, crab, clams, meat, vegetables, snacks, condiments, fresh noodles, sausages, even hot fresh food for sale. Sometimes bulglogi ready to cook. Very good to come and see what is in season and on sale for further savings!

The amount of fish they ship in has been decreased a bit. But, they have basically everything you could ask for from an Asian market! Its amazing!!!

Amazing selection of Asian food as well as a lot of fresh seafood. Can’t afford to take the family to the Long Beach Aquarium? A stop by the live seafood section is the next best thing! Extensive produce section including many exotic offerings – we picked up a couple of nice dragonfruit here – and you cant beat the price on whole unsalted peanuts (we use them to feed our backyard squirrels!)

I love this Chinese super marker after they remodel it few years back. They have very good selection of fresh fish and seafoods.

Live seafood, place is clean. Fruits are not the freshest but Asian veggies are best.

The market is well organized

Use to be Chun Fat but they cleaned it up but unfortunately, have not tried their fresh seafood which is why I frequented the old place. But I can vouch for their fairly large selection of frozen seafood as well as their ugly oranges which I think are actually tangerines.

Got the calming teas i wanted, all natural, no sugar added. Also live the many organic choices of other items, for example mung beans, goji berries, etc etc. Love this place, huge. Only a few min away from me too.

Its very busy here especially in the afternoon after 6pm. I dislike how they arrange the fruits stalls, because its too difficult to walk as people are always back to back when passing each other. They sell a lot of things and fruits are cheaper than most grocery stores.
