Disappointed on the last visit. Long story short, they did a alignment plus 4 new wheels...at least according to them they had....turns out I had a bent strut, which another mechanic had pointed out very easily (at another place). Came back to see if they would refund me for a service they clearly didnt do....how could you make an alignment if one of the struts is bent!?The last insult was them offering me a free alignment only if replaced the struts with them... their quote was 30 % more than the dealer.....why would I still give you business. SMH.

Ill admit that I should have not gone to a tire place for a diagnostic, however, they have AC repair advertised so my husband took our car for a diagnostic. The diagnosis showed that all we needed was an AC recharge, which we paid for at $200 including the diagnostic fee. After driving the car for a few days, we realized the AC was still not getting cold, especially when the car was idle. So we took it back only to be told that now we need an AC compressor and the air coming from the ac went from kinda cool to warm. So whatever they did the second time made it worse and they discovered something that they didnt the first time which makes me wonder if they even did a thorough diagnosis in the first place. Basically I paid for them to not fix anything and cant even apply that to the $700 they want to charge me for a new compressor. I am at a complete loss and so frustrated. (As of 10/26/21, no one has reached out to me so these district manager follow ups are fake and automated)

The customer service is excellent! The young man who assisted me (Mr. Castañeda) was knowledgeable, very caring, professional, and respectful of all customers. He gave us the best deal. He was also very apologetic that we had a longer wait than usual (he turned on the TV while we waited....we watched a really great movie and that helped us pass the time). The Jeep runs beautifully. The ride is so smooth! I highly recommend American Tire Depot in Montebello.

Had a great experience with service and timely manner but failed to ask or inform me of a alignment with 4 new tires. Probably never going back. Riding around 2 days until I realize something doesnt feel rght and call back and theyre like ohh yeah no but We can charge u 100$ if u come today. Got an alignment for 60$ after all so they were also trying to over charge me.

The employees were very nice and professional. The work was completed in the timeframe I was quoted. They explained the processes they were performing, alignment test with the camera, then reviewed the results with me so I could make a decision. Booking the appointment was very easy, I called, spoke with a representative who made sure the tires I wanted were in stock at my store, and then booked the appointment. When I arrived at my store they had my paperwork prepared, the manager reviewed everything with me. Overall a very good experience. Employees helpful and professional. Great service and price guarantee is an added bonus.

American Tire Depot in Montebello was great! I was expecting low tire pressure in my driver side front tire and little that I knew it was completely bald on the inside. I knew I needed tires and this was going to be my first replacement since I’ve had my vehicle. I need to be somewhere by 12pm and American Tire got me in and out by 10:45am. Frankie was great and gave a me a good deal on Michelin. I was getting quotes while driving over, and everyone was charging $800-$900. I was out the door spending only $700 because I need the alignment, but the tires were under $650. If you need tires America Tire Depot is the spot!

Again, I tried to buy tires from this place and my experience was not the best. I made an 8:30 appointment on the website and cot a confirmation. On arrival I was told my tires were not in stock and they might be on a 12:30 or 4:30 truck. Its pointlessly to have an appointment if you can not meet the time frame. I had to rearranged my day to accommodate the lack of this stores planning yet again. Never will I shop or recommend this store. Big fail on their part.

Want to talk about RUDE… I got a flat tire while driving down Whittier Blvd with my newborn baby in the car, panicked I turned into the tire shop and I just wanted to ask if they had time to look at it for me, the gentleman yelled park in back at me, I just said sir I have a question he said I won’t talk to you till you park in back, I could barely even drive my car off that lot let alone pull it in back.I would..I refused to even attempt to talk because I could already tell they were not going to be helpful I drove across the street to a tire company next to cvs and right away the gentlemen’s was able to assist me & super friendly..

The people here are professional, knowledgeable of what is needed and ask the right questions. They are friendly and very communicative during the entire process. I would recommend this location and everyone who works here. They are great.

Tire prices are good. But thats the only thing that keeps me going back. Their mechanic work is overpriced. Customer service wise they are polite and nice. But once you walk away from that counter they forget that you are there. My car was ready and sat for half an hour before they called me up to pay. I had to actually get up to pay myself or I would have sat there another hour probably. I had a somewhat attractive woman paying in front of me who they flirted with for 15 minutes before they charged her. When I came up to pay it was about a 3-minute transaction and we were done. And that wasnt the first time that happened to me The woman thing. But like I said the tire prices are not bad if you dont mind all the other stuff.

American tire Depot did a great job installing my new set of off road tires. The guys do quality work in a timely manner. The shop also carries a wide range of tires and firme rims check them out.

Worst service ever. Workers seemed liked they hated working there. Made me wait 30 min while their computer rebooted then told me itd take an hour and a half wait just to UG a tire I was willing to pay for. When asking them questions they answered with short, vague answers like I was a bad guy for being curious on how long the wait was. Meanwhile the mechanics were in the back on their phones eating snacks. Never this location again. I drove off to the tire down the street. Plugged my tire in 15min. Go to Whittier and Hay Ave instead. Good dudes.

First time here to the shop and its definitely not my last one Albert gave me VIP treatment, my wait time is between 50 min which is very good to change 4 Wheels. The price definitely beat all the other tire shops I went to.Ill come get my wheels for my classic car here yay

After two front tires are changed, my car start to make big noices. I have to drive back and let them to balance the tire again. Non professional service. You cant trust the work they done for you. Dont go again. No wonder they have very few customers there.Also, the management is very bad. I was told the tires will be ready at 11:00 am. I arrived there 11:30 and have to wait two more hours to change only two tires. They have several employees but only two of them working. You would see lots of employees until lunch time.The manager is very young, looks like a kids. I dont know how the business can survive under this guys management.

Ive always went to American Tires but never to this store. The guys at the counter were cool. They were very nice and gave me an estimated time to how long it would be before they started the work so that I knew the time frame. Which is awesome because Ive paid and ended up just sitting there for hours in another store.

Having to wait with my children 3 + hrs for a simple oil change and to top it off bad customer service from an unprofessional employee/clerk by the name of Frankie was unpleasant and unacceptable for a paying customer. I had to ask the mechanics for change because the employee named Frankie was rude enough to tell me they dont have change for 100 dollar bill and to get change somewhere else . He wouldnt give me my keys until i paid exact change for the service rendered. I asked to talk to the manager and employee said i would have to wait 2 hr for that. Sure going to file a complaint with the BAR ( Bureau of Automotive Repair ) for bad customer service. Frankie needs training!

In and out got my oil change and tire rotation. It took 60 minutes I like it fast and easy to keep me on track with my day

Got an alignment done, had to ask for the printout, i would almost say that i hardly believe they did anything, but i can feel a difference in the way it drives and my tread is wearing on my tires.But the bigger caviat is i asked them if they could check my back left tire to see where it might be flat. They did find the nail, but said they couldnt repair it because the tread is too low. I think it was his way of getting me to buy a new set of tires out of me. So they just filled it, and rather than argue i just took it to express tires and auto service on whittier and downey, and they patched it right up for 20$Usually american tire depot has been pretty good to me, but i wouldnt go to this one again. I will be getting new tires but not from this location.

First time here, and I have to say they have great service; I had 2 nails in one of my tires and they took care of it for me. Told them I was in a time crunch and they had me in and out right away. Even told me about some issues with my vehicle that I didnt notice before going in. Great location right on Whittier off Montebello Blvd. Large, clean waiting room with tv, radio, vending machines, restrooms, etc. to make customers comfortable while waiting. Top notch, definitely recommend them to anyone!

Set an early am appointment, when I arrived there, there was a number of walk ins in line, the gentleman solely behind the counter(F.Oliva) was clearly overwhelmed by the rush of walk-ins, but addressed each and everyones requests for repair and maintenance in a professional manner, though I had an appt.scheduled, Mr.Oliva kept apologizing for the situation, I didnt mind to much because of his professionalism during an unexpected rush of customers, I probably wouldnt have been so understanding if it were not for Mr.Olivas demeanor, Thank you and Kudos Mr.Olivas youll be seeing me again in 3000 miles from now.

My friend recommended me to American Tire Depot. My career requires me to drive A LOT like 300 miles a day so maintaining my car is important. I also happen to have two kids in college that also have their own cars. So you can imagine how annoyed I was when this year I had to replace tires on all THREE cars. I started looking online comparing prices, reviews, and warranties to get the best bang for my buck. On all three instances I visited American Tire Depot I was helped by Eddie. He was very friendly and helpful. Now, the guy can talk and he’s definitely a salesman, but as a District Manager you appreciate salesman. If he comes off like he’s trying to sell you something that’s because he is, but he knows how to wheel and deal. If you’re someone who likes to haggle and Eddie will do a good job of making you feel like you won. Also they have a great road hazard warranty. I have driven in with a nail and I’m in and out within an hour. Easy. Wish they had a better website so you can get quotes, but hey it’s worth giving them a shot for their prices alone.

Went in for some tires for my Jaguar F Type and Israel was absolutely amazing. He definitely gave that personal feel to the whole experience. The price I was quoted over the phone did change a bit and Israel took the time to call me and notify me about this before I got there. Then, when I arrived, there was another price change... Nothing incredibly significant, but if it would have been anyone else assisting me, I am sure I would have walked away. Israel laid it all out, was apologetic but kept it as the kids say now a days, 100. He had his team install the tires, had good conversation with me and never made me feel like I was being taken advantage of or like he was doing me a favor. It felt like he was doing his job, and I could see he was doing it well.I thanked him and his staff for staying open after closing time, and the last thing he told me before I left was, We really appreciate your business, and dont worry about us being here late, were happy to help not just you, but the rest of the community as well. Made it feel like those old mom and pops shops that used to really care about their clients.Thanks again for getting me back on the road safely and for providing stellar service Israel. Got a great deal on some tires for my silvererado

After the fancy tire place in Newport Beach said they cant order my special Pirelli tires, I started coming to this shop. They are always able to get my tires on the day I ask for them, and they do a great job with other routine maintenance. My dad, my sister, my husband, and my best friend all bring their cars here- lots of different makes and models- and we have never had issues. The pricing is fair, and they are friendly and professional. They also have good snacks in the vending machine. :)

Got a flat while driving to work. Took my car in to get the tire changed. But they found out that my rim had also cracked from the inside since this was the second time it got really hit by a pothole. I opt-out on repairing the rim since it was already too bend so at the end I couldnt even get my tire on but it wasnt their fault. The reason they got 5 stars is that they even didnt charge to put my spare tire and for all the work to diagnose my car. Great customer service!!

I got tires from American tire depot 2 years ago. I got a flat on memorial day. Took my car in for the tire to be fixed since it was still on warranty. They told me that it would be 2hours since there were 5 cars ahead of me. So I left it there..... To my surprise 10 minutes after getting home ( and I live just 2 miles from that location.) They called me and said it was ready. Man wasnt a waste of time. They fixed it really fast and did a great job. They even set the air pressure to all my tires. Thanks again everyone there at Montebello location.

I inquired on synthetic oil change and they had deal that includes free tire rotation. They finished in about an hour. Service was great with a good price compared to a few places I called. I would come back.

I have bought tires in the past from this place and because of the great service it became my go-to place for flat tires. Recently, my wife had this problem and off she went to get her tire fixed. She was told that she had to wait at least an hour since there were customers ahead of her. She was in a rush and asked all kinds of questions and wondered if maybe someone could take a look at least to see how bad the tire was. They were very busy but Mr Robert went beyond and told her to show him the tire. He wanted to do a quick test and the first object he found to do this, since he didn’t carry any tools, was his own pen. As it turned out, the nail was so short that it didn’t puncture the tire but Mr Robert’s pen broke. The highlight of this experience is more about how far the employee or supervisor is willing to go to provide excellent service. We are so grateful Mr Robert was there the time of our visit and we haven’t forgotten we owe him a pen, we’re looking for a very nice one. There is also another great experience when Juan, also went beyond and with patience explained all of our options when we acquired tires. Thank you very much for this great service. We will always go back to American Tire Depot.

So my front tires started to show really bad cracks on the side walls. Theses are tires I bought from them because ATD referred them to me. Keep in mind I still have warranty on these tires.. so they tell me they cant honor their warranty and can only give me a discount. Sad .... they lost a customer today.

Possibly mind blowing fact: American Tire Depot performs puncture repairs and tire rotation for FREE. Yes, of course, they are going to inspect your vehicle and would like your future business. That doesnt change the fact this is one cool policy! As always, be as informed as possible when you take your vehicle to ANY mechanic. Tip: Try to arrive when they first open. They can get pretty busy.
