I had to change my review due to the fact that my prescription glasses were not delivered as promised for almost a month. This store has very poor customer service and in particular Jamie. I had to be the one to call them and find out whats going on with my order. I never received any call from them. After 3 promised dates, I decided to cancel and refund my order. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

Today was my first experience coming to Lens Crafters and the service was AMAZING! They are so professional, patient, and kind here. I picked out my frame today and my glasses were ready within an hour and a half. Talk about fast service. I would recommend Lens Crafters to anyone in the market for glasses or contact lenses. Ask for Maria or Marie for quality service. They are so friendly.

I got my new glasses in March 2020, they promised to have them ready in an hour and they did, thats a PLUS !! They also recommended that I take advantage of the insurance for my glasses, I really didnt want to and I thought they only wanted my money ... and with a little doubt I bought the insurance with a deductible of $ 25, the glasses I had bought cost me $ 600. In September 2021 my lenses were scratched in a big way !!!! the next day I went to Lens Crafters and to my surprise the insurance covered new lenses 100% NO QUESTIONS ASKED !!!!! and I only paid $ 25 !!! thank you Lens Crafters for being true and the staff very friendly.I highly recommend buying the insurance and you will save a lot of money !! If I could I gave them 10 stars.

Fantastic experience! The staff was very friendly and prompt. This location gets lots of natural sunlight inside the store so you get a great idea how your glasses will look. Great selection of all the major brands. I observed the staff practicing social distancing and frequent sanitation. They remove glasses from the display cases if someone tries them on. It’s clear the staff truly values the safety of their customers.A shoutout to Lizbhet who worked with me to complete my order, as she was awesome to work with! My glasses were done within two hours which is AMAZING. My Dr. got my new Rx perfect and the lab did a wonderful job with the lenses.Will definitely take my business here in the future!

I did not appreciate the scam that your store pulled on me. The sales person sold me on the idea that my glasses would be ready the same day. When I got to the counter the tech (not wearing a mask) informed me that the system has been down for two day and they dont have any idea of when my glasses will be ready. He relayed this information with a smug attitude . I paid in cash and wasnt given a receipt. What kind of an operation are you running here. Misleading your customers like this. I will most definitely leave a review on line as to my experience with your company. Your process is shameful and a sham.

I have been a LensCrafter customer for many years a while ago I tried two different optometrist and found out how good LensCrafters is and I came back

Do not go to this Lens Crafters. Manager lied to me and then denied what she said to me. It took 2 weeks to get my glasses (which I was originally told it would) and they were made wrong. The manager was helping me and knew i was upset that I waited 2 weeks already. She seemed to make it sound like it was my fault at first, asking me if I had a stigmatism, I dont and I had my eye exam at that store. Then she compared my new glasses with my old ones. In the end she blamed the doctors writing. I asked her if it was going to take another 2 weeks and she said that the labs were back up to full capacity now (covid-19) and that I would have my glasses in 7 days. 7 days later I called the store and the same manager answered the phone. She said the glasses were not in yet. I asked her why did she tell me 7 days and she said that she never said that and their policy was 14 days.... flat out lied to me and then acted like i was stupid or something. I contacted Lens Crafters by email and filed a complaint, was told they would get back to me within 5 days, 7 days later and nothing from the corporate office. Read the rest of the reviews and it is obvious that there is something wrong with this store and the company doesnt care. Not sure if all Lens Crafters are this way but the Montclair store needs to be looked into because the way I was treated was just wrong..I see I got the Lens Crafters auto reply. The link to the customer service they sent is where I filed my original complaint, was told I would hear back from them in 5 days...2 weeks later and no response... what a joke

Very clean and orderly store. Sunlight from the large windows are almost as bright as the smiles that greet you when you walk in. Very nice staff and large open floor plan make this store much more comfortable than going into a mall with a bunch of crowded walkways. Definitely recommend coming here for your eye care needs.

Do not recommend this place. Was told I would be called when my daughters glasses were done that it would take up to a week. Its been a week and no call so I called them only to find out my daughters glasses were done 5 days ago!

A VERY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO LENSCRAFTERS!!!I made an appointment on a specific day with a plan that I will be able to purchase a pair of glasses, yet I was wrong. First, they took forever in getting my information. Second, the eye check up was very uncomfortable. The girl who was assisting me got frustrated with a specific test and walked out on me! I could not believe that she DID NOT have a slight of patience with me.In the end, I spent JUST A HOUR with eye exams and still had to see the doctor. I literally walked out. I was very disappointed on the timing and customer service this place share with me. I left this place very annoyed and they probably didnt even seem to care.Please dont go here!!

Poor management and lack of communication. Only applied so that I could have a job but quit after 4 months. I would rather work somewhere else where I am respected and treated like I am on a team, even if it is less pay. I should have read the comments of past customers because you are all correct. This is a place of rudeness, negative vibes, lack of team spirit, and no care for each other.

I made an appointment that they recorded on the incorrect day, and then they expected me to be fine with it like I dont have a life outside of LensCrafters. It was only when I was very clear I could not make the appointment that they made for me and stood my ground that they found a way to squeeze me in four hours later.Their attitude was bad, too. They didnt even originally ask if I would be ok with coming in when they inaccurately scheduled me to. They just said they would see me then.This is the last time I go to LensCrafters. Next year Ill pay slightly more to go off-network.

If I could rate this place less than one star I would. They cracked our glasses when they adjusted them and would not perform the repair for their mistake even though both sets of glasses are less than a year old and under warranty. Dont get your glasses here, go somewhere where they at least care

Customer service from woman is terrible. Went into the mall lens crafters instead. Their selection is far greater in the chino hills lens crafters.

A complete waste of time I had the exam and then they wanted me to pay out of pocket $400 for safety glasses when my insurance gives them free. They assured me it wasnt free but a week later at another doctor I went to it was free.

So I was there yesterday on 10/9/2013. The sales ladys are awesome! no complaints for them. great work good customer service.The issue with this place is the optometrist. he is super lazy! i spend 2 hours in that place found a few pair of sunglasses i wanted to add prescription too. Every pare i found he said he wasnt able to do it, what was weird was that i once worked for Luxottica and i know what too look for in choosing a pair of sunglasses you want to put a prescription on.So after 2 hours i left, i walk in to the LensCrafters in the Monclair mall and they helped me out GREEEAT they took the same pair of sunglasses that this location said they couldnt do it on and did it!

Went in and and was trying to explain about bad workmanship and they did even want to hear that and also have been going to this place since i was a kid and have given them thousands of dollers and it was obvious that they want money they do not want to help people see all they want is for you be in dept to them to hell with lenscrafters!!!!!
