LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! (try the Triple Decker Club Turkey Sandwich)We have ordered from this dinner for a few years now. Love this place.I normally order the Triple Decker Club Turkey Sandwich and she gets a Grilled Cheese with fries. On the weekend She gets an American Cheese Omelet with onion and green peppers, home fries, and for me the Hamburger deluxe with everything. Out of all the times ordering there, the only mishap was one of our Turkey club sandwiches; had chips that were everywhere inside of the container. But other than that, nothing negative. I always call ahead for pick up but used to sit down and dine. You still can the service is always top-notch. I had the Steak from here its good but not Steak house quality but very good. I do order it often. The desserts are fantastic! Did I mention the desserts are AMAZING! It can get crowded on the weekends. Overall if you’re looking for just a darn good meal for order out or dine in, you won’t go wrong with Front Street Diner. Barb and everyone there is friendly. Good people and good food!
Amazing Diner!!! This was my first visit and it wont be my last. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and immediately taken to a table. Shortly after, the waitress welcome me to the Diner and proceeded to provide me with the best service anyone has ever given. Overall, everyone there was polite and friendly. And the food, I couldnt even finish it, because of the amount. Be warned, the T-Bone Steak dinner, is huge.
Liver was very good. That is the only place I get liver. Not a long wait to receive our food. I always stop in when I have to go to Harrisburg pa. I try other foods as well
We are from Virginia and we went there for dinner. Omg it was delicious 😋 we really really enjoyed. Food was very very tasty, I haven’t eaten such taste 👅 so delicious. Yummy it was and we will definitely visit again. I want to visit again soon. Very comfortable environment and service was very good too
Food is good here, service as well.Been going here for a while with no issues.Wouldve given 5 stars but I paid $12 for crab stuffed mushrooms and got normal size crab cakes on mushrooms about the size of a quarter.... Got them to go so I didnt realize it till we got home. Not the best 12 bucks I ever spent.
Everytime I go here, it is packed. I ordered breakfast sandwich on a Croissant and it was huge. Very good, and I appreciate the egg on the top and another egg on the bottom of the meat. Eggs were cooked hard, not scrambled.
Excellent service. The food was top notch. Our server, Erin was very professional and pleasant. Their prices are better than any place around here.
Tonight was my 1st time here. My grandmother use to work for the owner at another places years ago. We order the fried seafood combo the broiled seafood combo and two dippy eggs. The food was really flavorful and cooked perfectly. I do not recommend getting a booth if you are a plus size person like myself (size18) as its a tight fit but other than that, the food was delicious. Will be coming back to try the breakfast.
Stopped for breakfast. Looked very busy and a line to the front door but to our surprise we were seated fairly fast considering and the food came out quicker than anticipated. Food was delicious. Not from the area but if I were my family would eat there more often
Very good. Shorthanded as everywhere, but game. Great food, I had a well put together Eggs Benedict. I like their plain crunchy home fries, no paprika or chopped peppers.

Hours changed due to COVID back in April. Closes around 10 pm. No longer 24 hours. Swung by on a trip back and noticed hours changed. Cannot evaluate food as we didn’t eat here.
I ordered the typical breakfast of eggs, toast, home fries, scrapple and coffee. The food was on par with other decent diners in the area, and the coffee was better than average. We went on a Saturday morning with a group of ten, and it was packed. Our server was amazing, and we did not feel rushed. Since this place is in a former Ponderosa restaurant, there is plenty of seating. I will definitely be going back.
This was our first time here. Family of four. Three adults, one teen. Overall, good service. Friendly staff. As a diner with multiple food offerings, the items we got were okay. Not bad but not stellar. Still, we will go back and try other selections. Was glad to support a local business rather than a corporate chain. Hopefully, we will find items on the menu that we will gravitate towards in future visits.**Update**My wife and I have since been back for a couple breakfast and lunch services. Experiences were good. Staff was still friendly. Going for traditional diner breakfast and lunch options like pancakes and burgers were very good. Thus far we have replaced Cracker Barrel with the Front Street Diner.

First visit was great. It was Sunday afternoon about 1:30. Crowded but I didnt have to wait long to be seated. Friendly wait staff took my drink order within 5 minutes. My order only took another 5 minutes. Lox Benedict. So delicious! A little too much rich Hollandaise sauce though. And the coffee was a little too weak for my taste. Other than that Ill be back again to try other menu items!
Great little diner right on front street. Breakfast is available during all hours they are open. Eggs are done right and the wait staff is friendly and can assist with your order. The have a special of 2 eggs meat of your choice and 2 pancakes. They allow you to substitute french toast for the pancakes. Eggs are made as ordered. We were a group of six and everyone ordered breakfast so we didnt get to try any of the other parts of the menu. I will say in typical diner tradition they have plenty of dessert, including mile high pieces of pie. Cant wait to go back and get some French fries and gravy, thats my usual go to diner order.
Stopped here while traveling and was very pleased with the cleanliness, staff and food. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Great food!
Food was kinda blah not bad but nothing special. Salad was not fresh at all lettuce was brown. Waiter spilled coleslaw all over my wife and didnt even apologize.

Came here 2 mornings in a row and the service and portions were exceptional. But what most stuck out was the friendliness and hospitality of the hostess, waitress and cashier. I would come back here in a heartbeat if Im ever in the area again!
Good was ok. Long wait to even get drinks. Maybe R.J. gets served quickly, but nobody else. Lost count on how many servers walked past doing other things. Maybe if our server was extra busy, they could have helped out? Probably not returning.

Had a delicious breakfast/lunch with my cousin. Everytime I visit the Front Street Diner I have very good food. One can tell that the food is prepared to order when it arrives piping hot!!

For the $39 price we paid for 2 cheeseburgers and fries you would think the meat would be fresh but that was not the case. I would have just shrugged it off as a lousy experience but the fact fries did not come with the burger is mind blowing. The meat was dry and the coleslaw and pickle were above room temp and the patty tasted and looked artificial. It was less than 7mins after we placed our order and they came out before our mozzarella sticks which means the patties were sitting out and thrown on the grill and sent out. We should have gone to the Wendys instead.

I was taken here for my birthday and even those who brought me were very disappointed. I ordered lettuce with bacon dressing and it was horrible. Noone was impressed with the food. I definitely would not recommend eating there.

The very first time we were here was pretty good, but it was disappointing today and on a previous visit. Today, the crock of French Onion Soup was terrible; it was weak and had barely any flavor. My husband actually said it tasted like dishwater! The chili tasted very strongly of vinegar and couldnt be finished. They use some kind of margarine on the toast that doesnt even melt; it just sits on the bread in a greasy layer. Gross. I doubt that well be back.Update: we found out today that our son-in-law was sick all night with food poisoning after our visit here. Beware!
Why does it say 24 hours but yet they close at 10pm… they need to update their hours on the website not just on their doors.

First time here. Was early am after work. I ordered a steak medium rare, apple sauce, salad and home fries. Coffee was hot orange juice was good. The food was amazing the steak was perfection. Needed to grab some lunch before heading to the airport. I searched for restaurants along my route, I81 from Carlisle, and there was not a lot. Saw the good reviews and decided to stop even though it was a little out of the way.Let me start out by saying the menu is extensive. Lots of foods from different regions. Usually I find that when too many food nationalities are represented they tend to do it poorly. So I ordered one of the daily specials for a Wednesday, the Gyro with fries. It said it came with a soup so I ordered the Matzo ball soup with it. I was told that because it was a Special Soup I would be upcharged. I said that was fine. The soup was OK. I havent had it in so long (now living in the South, its rare I find it) that I maybe idolized it as a kid and now it is just OK. It came with one matzo ball. The waitress kept saying it should have come with 2 and she would get me one but I didnt want to have her bother bringing me one matzo ball. The gyro was good, better than some Ive had but didnt wow me any.I enjoyed my lunch and I enjoyed the conversation I had with the waitress. It was very clean for a diner and the food was satisfying. I will say that the upcharge I got for the matzo ball soup was $6. That surprised me a little seeing as the whole lunch special was $7.99 or something. I was expecting like an $2 or $3 cost increase for the soup. I would go back if I was ever in the area again but I will definitely not get the special soup.
The potatoes could of been cooked longer and the onions could of been cooked longer and sliced smaller .the waitress was a nice person
