We loved our wedding cake and treats from Cakes by Stephanie! They did an excellent job with communicating everything as well as making everything super easy. We had a free cake tasting which was so yummy, fun and detailed! The amount of treats and customizations you can do is astounding. 10/10 would recommend.

We hired Cakes by Stephanie to do our desserts for our wedding and was NOT disappointed! Everything was set up perfectly and at the end of the night almost ALL of the desserts were gone. We loved the variety in choices we got as well as the customer service along the way. We also love that they offer a free anniversary cake for your one year anniversary! We went to multiple bakeries before Cakes by Stephanie but the attention to detail and great service we received just at the tasting was enough for us to know we found the right place. I will suggest them to all my friends and family!

Cakes by Stephanie is phenomenal! We inquired about a small cake and 120 cupcakes for our October 15, 2021 wedding and they quickly responded and set us up with an appointment for cake tasting. At the cake tasting, they went over all of our options (sizes, designs, flavor combinations) and we felt no pressure to decided that day. We did decide to go with Cakes by Stephanie as they had the best flavor, awesome price, delivery and set up, and were kind, caring and knowledgeable! We have had several of our guests ask where we got our cupcakes from because they were so delicious! I placed a order for some pastries and decided to go pay for everything ahead of time. OMG I walked into the most heavenly desserts the cakes in the cooler are incredible it was hard to decide which one to get because I wanted all of them.I got the rainbow cake just because it was beautiful 😍. I also got a cherry 🍒 pie with crumb topping and plan on getting the bigger version when I go this weekend.The Hocus Pocus cookies rock!!!!If your in Monroe stop here for some treats I recommend EVERYTHING the service is outstanding and they put out baked goods just like going to your Grandmas house seriously they do!!!!

Excellent! Cakes by Stephanie has made our wedding cake, birthday cakes, baptism cakes etc etc. Each one extraordinarily beautiful and even more tasty! Most recently Mario Brothers sugar cookies, the kids went wild! When we need a quick special treat we run in, they have lots to choose from ready to go. You wont be disappointed. Worth every penny.

Cakes by Stephanie did an absolutely incredible job on my cake last year for my 7/27 wedding! The cake was the most beautiful cake I had ever seen and it was absolutely delicious. We had no left overs since our guests absolutely loved the taste.They were very easy to work with and had great prices.I highly recommend them!

I went to get some cookies for my team at work, I bought the lemon cookie for something sweet for me and WOW! When I think of baked goods, Cakes By Stephanie is always my first choice!

Being a bride in 2020 wasnt easy but Cakes by Stephanie made our postponing with them a breeze. We first tasted their cake at a bridal show in 2019 and thought it tasted amazing. I liked how the fillings were included in the price and they encouraged sheet cakes in the back for a more budget friendly option. Monroe is far from us but their delivery fee was the same as bakeries close by. I showed them photos of what I wanted my cake to look like and it looked just like what I wanted. I also like how they offer a free cake a year after your wedding instead of the tradition of freezing your cake. I would forever recommend, 10/10.

Omg! Cakes by Stephanie was perfect!!! They did our cake and cupcakes for our wedding and they were all gone by the end of the night! Our guest loved all of the different flavors! I have told everyone I know about them!

The cakes and cookies here are amazing! It would be a 5 star review but they don’t really limit how many people are allowed in at one time and there’s no social distancing. It’s very hard to feel comfortable buying with you’re in a small space with 15 other people and barely inches between you and the next person in line.

We ordered a wedding cake back in fall of 2019 and had a great consultation. When the pandemic hit, they were awesome about being flexible in rescheduling to next year and keeping our deposit and prices all the same. A year later, we arent going to have nearly as many people at the wedding with COVID and it felt less special to buy a huge pricey cake for a small group. So I called to cancel and apologize and even said that we understood wed forfeit our deposit. The manager immediately said they were not out to make a profit during the pandemic and understood our situation and offered to refund our deposit. I was so shocked and happy. We appreciate it so much, especially since Im sure they were also impacted by the pandemic. Obviously, we arent going to be doing a wedding cake there anymore but given this great experience in a time where other vendors were much less understanding, I will definitely be back for future cakes and events.

We are so happy we chose Cakes by Stephanie for both my daughters wedding shower cake and her wedding cake. The cakes were absolutely beautiful and the flavors was amazing! They are very helpful and listened to all of our requests for designing both cakes and they nailed each one!

Our wedding was yesterday and we have to post how amazing our cake was. Other than the top tier, there is no cake left. Our guests ate every piece. We selected a full chocolate cake with the ho-ho filling, and it was a hit.The delivery was perfect and exactly on time, to what we agreed upon. We had a morning wedding, and they were willing to drive out to get it to us by 8 am. We got really lucky because there was a second wedding in our venue at night, and we saw Tommy walking in with that cake, and he took our cake parts so we didnt have to drive them the hour back.The cake looked exactly how we had planned and all of our interactions with Cakes By Stephanie were wonderful and helpful. They were also the best priced cake we had looked like. We got great service and felt like we got a great value for the quality of cake at the price they listed.In short, use Cake by Stephanie, they stand up to their amazing reviews. We cant wait for our anniversary cake next year.

I’ve been traveling to Monroe to see family there for the last few years and every time I visit I absolutely HAVE to stop here! The staff is always so inviting and genuinely kind! Every item baked here is totally unparalleled. I received an order I placed with them online today and as expected, it was flawless! The packaging was very well done, you almost couldn’t tell that the boxes had just travelled over 2,100 miles! They are locally owned and operated by the sweetest woman ever and the genuine attention and care continuously show in their work.They even hand wrote some kind words on the boxes, personal touches like that add that little extra love to the boxes after a long day at work! We had an excellent experience ordering our wedding cake from Cakes by Stephanie! We wanted a somewhat non-traditional cake that would reflect both of our personalities, and the staff was more than willing to create our custom design. Our guests loved the design execution as well as the taste so much that not only did many of them upload photos of their cake to Facebook all night, they ate every single piece! All of the flavors that we chose tasted great and werent dry or bland at all like some bakery cakes can be. The staff was friendly, great to work with and communicated in a timely manner. We would 100% order cake from here again!

The cake i bought was great, i didnt cut the cake until 48 hours after pick up and still by far the best cake ever had. Taste 5 star.The decoration didnt match the picture i showed them and said they could do but it was still acceptable. Decoration 3.5 star...Service was good tried to sell me budget at first. Then i showed her picture and simply said how munch. Service 4 star.

For $83 the cake was not what I expected. Details could have been better. There was definitely more Frosting than there was cake, would have preferred there be more cake. Cake was not sweet at all could have been any flavor, very bland, was supposed to be Strawberry.

All the guests at our wedding had nothing but wonderful things to say about the cake. Just a great experience from the planning, process, and final product. I highly recommend this place.

I ordered custom cookies for my friends bridal shower and was so impressed with how they came out. The cookies were much larger than I expected, looked identical to what I wanted, and tasted amazing. I would definitely recommend using them. I did have to call back to order when they told me someone would call me back, but when I did get through to order everything was handled excellently.

I just want to say how happy Im with this company! I had ordered 3 pies to take to my husband’s side of the familys Thanksgiving dinner. My order pick up was for Wednesday at 5pm. Once I arrived, I noticed I ordered the wrong size. I got the mini and there was no way those would be enough. So the staff and owner made me 3 of the full size pies, since they were out of the 3 I wanted. They also delivered them to my house since it was going to take them past closing time. They could have easily said sorry that is what you ordered and just had me buy more pies they still had available or even charge me for the bigger pies, but they didnt. I appreciate each worker that stayed late and made sure I got the pies that I wanted. Thank you for everything and everyone loved the pies! (Banana cream pie was my favorite)

Choosing cakes by Stephanie for my wedding cake was the best decision I made! The staff is so friendly and easy to work with and their cakes taste amazing! I had tons of compliments all night. They make you a new cake on your 1 year anniversary so you don’t have to worry about freezing the top. I gave them a picture of what I wanted and wow I was so impressed, it was better than the picture! I HIGHLY recommend this bakery!

This bakery is by far in a class by itself, excellent cakes, cookies, brownies. Friend drivers in from Toledo, said well worth the time.

Only downfall (for us at least) was location- traveling to the tasting and then back to return the cupcake stand was tricky but still worth it. They were extremely well priced and everything was delicious and beautiful!!! We knew we didn’t want a traditional cake for our wedding and they did a great job accommodating us. We had a cupcake tower, cookies, and pies! Everything is so good... once you do the tasting you will know! Highly recommend

Cakes by Stephanie is a wonderful bakery. They made us a stunning 4 tier wedding cake, each tier a different amazing flavor. They allowed us to do 2 different tastings to decide on which cake flavors we wanted and provided us with cupcakes for the custom flavor combinations we asked for. The staff was very helpful and easy to work with. They even double checked the flower placement on the cake with me on the day of! I was not a customer of this bakery, they were recommended to me by someone for a small wedding cake. I had submitted a question online about if they make gluten free cakes and they took the time to call to let me know unfortunately they do not make gluten free cakes but the did give me the name of a few bakeries that do in the area! Wonderful people working here is just the Icing on the cake. The cookies, cakes, cake bites, cupcakes, everything I have experienced from here has been nothing but top tier. Not just with the fluffy decadent texture and flavors, but also with the care and skilled artistry that everything is finished with. Highly recommend for any occasion that may warrant sweets treats or a little comfort food.

Staff was excellent, baked goods were excellent! We had 2 meetings with the staff at Cakes by Stephanie. One to brainstorm ideas and a second to confirm before our wedding. We ended up ordering a 3 tier cake and cookies for our guests as a parting gift. We made quite a few changes between our first and second meeting and the staff was accommodating and understanding without issue. Will absolutely be using this bakery in the future for personal and large scale events. Definitely recommend!

Ive had a few cakes and cupcakes ordered by other people from here. I always thought they were over priced and not at all good tasting. The frosting is this thick mess that dish soap wont dissolve. I love frosting but not this... The cakes just taste average. Never understood the hype about this place though I know others who love it. Im just happy Ive never personally spent money here.

I ordered a sugar-free birthday cake for my husband, chocolate on chocolate, with instructions to decorate it for a man. The day to pick up the cake, I called to make sure the cake was done. I said to the associate, it is sugar-free? They had a sugar frosting on the cake. I said no its suppose to be sugar-free. And then, I was told they couldnt do a chocolate frosting only white, after I ordered chocolate days before. When I picked up the cake, it was totally white with no color, no decoration whatsoever. There was no taste to the frosting and you barely could taste the cake itself. Very disappointed. Never will visit this store again.

Made a visit early in the week to order a small birthday cake for Saturday (4 days ahead) and was told they are not taking any orders for two weeks. I just wanted a pink small layer cake and the staff just said how busy they are and they turned away my business and said I could come back on the day I needed cake and look to see if there was a cake that would work. Staff was abrupt and it is surprising that a small business would not value how to handle a potential long time customer.

They did a wonderful job on our wedding cake this past Friday. The cake looked exactly like the photo I picked out for them, and all of the flavors were delicious. It was delivered on time, no complaints! Our guests loved it.

We used Cakes By Stephanie for our wedding Sept 2016 and they were fabulous! I sent them a picture of the look I was going for and they nailed it. It turned out better then I ever expected. I love how you can pick multiple flavors for each tier of your cake, and they have so many flavors to choose from. The staff was wonderful, and the cake was delicious!

What an amazing company. Our son is leaving for the army and I called in with a request for a cake that Inc. the American flag, the army logo, and his school colors. I am totally impressed by what I received. I’m a very hard client because I used to work for a bakery making specialty cakes. My expectations were met, exceeded, and they have raise the bar so high I do not think any other bakery could touch it.

I always wanted to try their cookies and i finally went in there for the first time to buy one, but i stood at the counter and they helped 3 people behind me and ignored my existence. I will never come back, monicas is better

I went through Cakes By Stephanie for my wedding last year. The people were very friendly and the cake (as always) was amazing. I would recommend to anyone! Then only complaint I have is the shop was VERY busy during our cake tasting time and the lady helping us kept getting pulled away. I feel like this should be dedicated time to the couple purchasing the product. Still though, VERY good experience!

This place is delicious. The cookies are pure heaven. They were cooked just right, at least for me. The cookie was just a little underdone so it was still doughy. Perfect. I want able to taste more than the cookies but I will be back for sure.

We got a wedding cake here in 2016, we had 130 guest and it was more then enough. We had cake left over for days. We got our free 1 year anniversary cake and it was a cute 6 in. cake. I think Ill make it a yearly thing for our anniversary to get a cake from Stephanies!

The cake was good, though they did mess up our order for one of the sheet cakes and did not apologize for the mistake--essentially just blamed us. In my experience the staff is unfriendly. The only time I felt I got good service was when I had my initial appointment with them and they wanted me to buy my wedding cake from them.
