We lost my daughters beloved stuffed dog while shopping and didn’t realize it until later after the store was closed. We sent a Facebook message and the next morning before opening the staff found it and kept it safe until they opened and we could pick it up.

Its fine. Some of the employees are rude though, I remember one got into an argument with another customer while we were in line. When we went up to the lady to check out, she scanned and practically slammed the CDs onto the counter. I cant judge the store just on the workers obviously, but my god are some of them rude.

Difficult to find; definitely use Google Maps your first time. Plenty of parking. Unfortunately not a lot of inventory. It is a huge building being severley under utilized. It is definitely the worst St Vincent de Paul Thrift Store I have ever been to. I will not waste my time returning. Employees were nice enough.If you deem this review helpful, please give it a like. As a business owner, I dont like to get a bad review, but I have had the same experience too many times at this store to not be upset about the treatment that you get at this store. I love thrift shopping and have shopped at this store for years. Because I own a business myself, I can only shop at this store on Saturday afternoons in the last hour that the store is open. Why do you post that you are open until 4 p.m. when you turn off the lights and try to get people out the door at 3:40 every time? Do you know how much more money I could spend in 20 minutes? Store personnel are not very nice about this when asked, they just want everyone out the door so that they can leave too. Also, all of the sale items that I am interested in are pulled early so I cant even choose from them if I want to. Unless I can shop at a different time, i guess I wont be back in the near future.

I love this store it is amazing but Im a little disappointed in the price of the furniture. Its slightly higher then what you are expecting but overall its amazing prices on other items.

GREAT after-Christmas sale! Brought home the cutest craft items PLUS I saved twice what I spent! It was like a great day garage selling without having to drive all over!

Rude employees, prices to high, Donations should be taken at all times while the store is open. Inventory low because they arent open for taking donations during store hours. Store has gone down hill, getting greedy.

Google website says the store closes at 5pm. Drove like crazy from belleville to get down here before 5pm with a car full of donations only to find out they close at 4pm. Not thrilled about the wasted gas and lack of consistency in posted hours.

Great vinyl record selection at cheap prices. A line formed at the checkout but they called someone over to help. They have 75 and 50 percent off deals. Plenty of parking staff is nice.

We just gave a box of glasses. The gentleman took the stuff and just tossed the glasses in another box. My husband could hear glass breaking and the person just saying oops. I guess we should find another place to give our things. There were some nice things in there! We werent using them so I thought someone else could. Not anymore if they got broke. Really not happy!!

Rude customer service. Went in to ask about a outside wicker set and the lady told me with out a tag she wasnt sure if someone in the store had it or not as she walked away and started checking out customers. I waited patiently on the side to ask her what happens if no one in the store has the tag? Who would price it? Can I put it on hold? Before I could even get a word out, she snaps at me saying sir if it doesnt have a tag I cant sell it to you, I dont price it out. There is nothing I can do. She said this very abruptly and stern. What did I do or say to deserve getting talked to this way? This lady had her nose pierced if anyone wants to know who it was. I will not be shopping here again. Bad customer service. First time being in this store too. Disappointing.

Took two side accent table made of REAL wood. Some spots on it. Pulled up to donate and this short hairy looking women said aaahhh no! And that was it. I said what are talking about?! Someone could refinish these !! Boy! they need a little more education of what value is instead of a small town notion of what value. cheap veneer is what they want, well took my tables to Goodwill and thet gladly accepted them. Agreed that the tables could be refinished!

Friendly staff, needing more merchandise right now but they are just getting back open and needing donations after being closed because of Covid.

Probly would be a great place, however their policies suck. Will go back for the deals. Dont blame the employees for following policy. Actually kudos to them because the policies suck and its hard to follow those policies I know that from experience.

Great place to second hand shop. My favorite place. I love the hunt for treasures.

I donate and shop at Monroe St. Vincent DePaul often . I was there today, I set my few things down walked away for a few seconds, and your associate rang one of my items onto another shoppers receipt. Judy, your associate, proceeded to verbally reprimand me for walking away from my items . I apologized, yet she continued to complain about me to anyone who would listen . I couldnt wait to get out of there, even considering leaving the items I purchased! Im not certain I will shop Monroe s Vinny again .Thought you should know about Judy, not a good face for your mission.

Very crowded, some prices are good others are outrageous! Customer service is horrible. They pick and choose who to break the rules for.During this covid out break their bathrooms and dressing rooms are supposed to be closed to the public but apparently if you are friends with an employee they let you use them anyways but if other people ask they give them a lecture about the rules, but yet just broke the rules two minutes before for someone else.They also have this rule that if an item dont have price tag they wont sell it to you and it has to go back in the back to get priced. They will not do it right then and there for you.... But yet two days before they just gave a lady a price on the item at the counter and she agreed to the price so they sold it to her. But when I ended up in the same situation they never offered me a price. Just refused to sell it to me.

Lots of clothes.Fair pricing.Its kind of tucked away so you have to look for it from the street.If you look for the Harley-Davidson sign you know you are close.

Its a thrift store its hit or miss all the time.lately Ive had no luck finding anything that is at a thrift store price. Im one that remembers retail price for things and most the time the prices are right at that retail price.

Every time I find something I like to purchase when they have them all the time, they raise the prices on it,they done it twice now,and then the stuff sits there for 4-5 weeks until its discounted,guess Ill only be purchasing all my items when they are at a discount pricecause right now their not at a thrift store price

I like the store itself, but twice now that I know of theyve closed at least 15 minutes before their listed closing time. If you plan on going, make sure to get there before 4pm so you dont get pushed out the doors!

Ive been very disappointed in the store lately. There is so much in the backroom, that it never makes it to the floor. The book shelves are empty. The need to so something to remedy this.

Limited clothing, not a lot of good finds, unfriendly workers, constant disappointment... This store just updated their registers and will not accept their gift cards. They said they are working with their management to resolve the issue but could not give a definite date as to when it would be resolved.*edit: the gift card issue was resolved
