The goodwill is pretty cool theres things i come across that i had before and was misplaced or broken or just wore out and you can not get anymore and in here ive came across some of those items that were in good shape .its a good place to find random cool things that you need or think it will become usefull at some time
Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean store. Most products are responsible priced.
Have always enjoyed shopping at Goodwill. I worked in the Marysville store for 16 years. I was tired of working in the medical field. Retied and moved to Startup. Decided to apply Monroe Goodwill part time. Love working for a organization that helps people get schooling, citizenship, get job...all for free.
This place is great and sanitary. I found a 48 port gbps switch Ive used now for years. Some gems can be found here- gotta look though!
I love the way this story is organized and clean also there are very good prices
Found a lot of nice clothes here. Really good selection for a thrift store.
Dont bother taking furniture donations in that arent pristine. They wont take them. My dresser had dust on it and the paint wasnt perfect. Absolutely nothing else wrong with it. Wouldnt accept it.
Wow...Nine million lularoe shirts that are all on clearance but they priced them at ten bucks a pop. Explains why they didnt move. And my cashier was either extremely new and very uneducated, or possibly inebriated. I love when places take my money and ignore me.Store was very clean, but most of the traffic was on the outside for donations.Update same day:Went to my NORMAL Goodwill. Compare purchases. Two shirts at Monroe - $12Twenty items including a NEW WITH TAGS Duluth hoodie - $109!Step up Monroe, people are struggling. :(
Theres just so much random stuff there. If you have an obscure idea for something, this is the place to go because they likely have something for it. Great place for wacky art ideas.
The color tag was 50% blue tag and their were hardly any blue tags. Its usually not that bad.
They have decent items. kinda spend on everything except there furniture you can get some decent furniture at low prices. for the collectors the good pieces never make it to the floor. if you collect glass kitchen items or knick knacks you can spend hours here filling shopping carts for next to nothing.
I love this store because of its employees and inventory, there are always treasures to find. Michelle in jewelry so wonderful to talk to and most everyone who is there is friendly. Nice employees, great finds and organized store.Thank you !
A little pricey for a second hand store but nice quality and worth a bit more.Good selection of womens clothing.
Excellent products for purchase as well as smooth, friendly assisted drop off. Great part of community!
Goodwill Monroe is one of the nicest Goodwill stores with a wide selection of clothes, shoes, furniture, kitchen goods, figurines, art, and everything else.
Seemed to be less stocked than usual. but still found a couple good things.
Found a perfect kitty carrier for $7.00. I call that productive. Nice store.
Its a Goodwill 🤷 is about as okay as you expect. I got some nice finds at a great price shopping for kids toys.
It used to be really good. They constantly move stuff around. And with these crazy lines of people dumping, you would expect nicer clothes. It looks like they dont even try. Goodluck getting in with the parking. Its just a mess.
The policies are terrible, I found a shirt with no tag on it and was told if I buy it, I can’t return it (dressing rooms are closed,) even though it’s their fault that there was no tag. Then when I asked the price, she priced it an outrageous price. Also, whenever Autom has checked me out she has been nothing but rude to me, honestly terrible customer service, never happy or nice, snippy to customers and fellow employees.
BUYER BEWARE - if you plan on getting a refund for a return, know that you cannot, store credit only. They didnt tell me during my latest trip and customers should be aware. Normally I wouldnt return from Goodwill, in fact I never have. I recently purchased a nice looking band saw for $55 and thought I would roll the dice on it working, so I confirmed with the cashier, if this doesnt work I can bring it back, right?. yes, you have 7 days. No mention of store credit only. Of course, it didnt work, so back it went.Turns out the disclosure for store credit is only on the receipt. Now think about that, the sale is already complete at that time and you have no further recourse. Thought you all should know before you buy thinking you can return for your money back.I pleaded my case, but to no avail, no accommodation. Now I have store credit for a store Im not returning to. Definitely lost my biz.
For a business which runs on donated items, their resale mark up is huge. In addition, since reopening after a lengthy pandemic shutdown, the store has revamped their policies in favor of profit over community. They no longer offer those awesome daily deals we were used to, military discounts are offered one day a month (because hey, they dont sacrifice every day for this country so.. lets just give them one day a month). I again reiterate that this business runs on donated items.. so no I will not be rounding up today, or likely going back in the future.. instead, I highly suggest fabulously frugal in Snohomish.. a little down the road, but way better pricing and I know it goes to support the community. If Goodwill in Monroe decides to bring back incentives such as, daily discounts plus a military/senior/first responder/etc. would certainly go a long way toward rebuilding community loyalty after the long shut down. There are alternative places to shop.. just saying.
It was good. The store was really clean and all of the shoppers were considerate and keeping a good distance. I found so.e great items as I always do and are very happy they are back.
Clean, well organized, friendly staff. Only complaint is that some of the stuff is way overpriced but you can still find a lot of good deals too.
I’m sad to say that I will no longer be donating or shopping at Goodwill, especially this one. I have a legitimate health condition that prevents me from wearing a mask, and I was told that I’m no longer welcome because of store policy. I get that people are trying to be safe but at what cost? Shouldn’t this store have exemptions to store policy if the CDC and our State Governor have exemptions? I’ve never been so discriminated against in my life all because of my health, not even when I was battling cancer and looked like death. I’m very disappointed
Great parking lot. Busy store. Many many people.
Not to crowded lots of things
Love the staff! Great prices. Moving to Texas so we are sad to see it go. Hopefully we can find another with such a great staff.
Very short selection. The store mainly consists of clothes and kids toys.
This location usually has great hidden jewels. The employees are always friendly and helpful. A clean and easy shopping experience compared to other second hand stores. There is also at St. vincent de paul thrift in monroe
Always a good experience when Autom is working.
Why the heck they wouldnt take baby toys is beyond me. Update your policies or train your attendants better if they were wrong....
Clean but overpriced. They were trying to sell a dollar store tray for 1.99Most items are priced as if they were new
Bought a very swaggy jacket from here... highly recommend!
Goodwill is getting ridiculously expensive. I use to enjoy going to Goodwill. Now, Im skipping going there these days and choosing other thrift stores instead. It s a bit disheartening when you can get things cheaper at Lowes, Walmart or the Dollar Store.
Great clean selection. I was greeted right away. Found 4 pairs of amazing shoes for Only $26! So happy! Thanks Monroe GW!
Lots of good used things, fun to go through!
I showed up at the Monroe location today to drop off ALOT of clothing and shoes that would have helped many. But, at 3:02pm when I arrived I was rudely turned away. Why the donation center would close at 3:00 is beyond me. Hours of operation where I looked online was open until 6:00. Unfortunate for many but employees that don’t care I guess. I’ll be looking for the Big Blue Truck to donate too instead.
Only place Ive been that doesnt like my mask. Stupid!
Customer service isnt the all that good. The discount tag days are nice. Pricing seems a little too high for most thrift stores, but its nicer than some good wills Ive seen.
Tonight when I dropped off my donations, I was greeted by a friendly, enthusiastic employee who obviously loves his job. He made my day!
Good selection, clean environment, great people! Donation line is long, come early if donating.
I seriously enjoy shopping at this Goodwill store. It is in a large building with plenty of roomy departments to move about in here. Guaranteed to have something for everyone. It’s a bit like walking into a treasure box..you never know what you’re going to find! Thank you, to all the people who donate so generously!
Always find treasures!
This is a medium-sized Goodwill and it is generally well-organized, although the aisles are pretty narrow. Staff are friendly, but keep an eye on your basket if you put it down -- someone might think it is abandoned and put your selections away.Like the other Goodwill stores in the area, they cycle through different colors of tags weekly for discounts. The best discount for small items is the 50% off on the weekend and the best discount for larger items is the flat rate on Mondays.Prices are standard Goodwill prices, although sometimes I wonder how they decide whether something goes into the general merchandise vs premium (never discounted) items.
Always a good place to browse! They are handling the reopening of the store and donation line as well as they can post shutdown. I appreciate having a Goodwill in town.
Loved it Im glad I found it! They have a lot of stuff! Good Deals too!
Prices way to high
2 cranky ladies waited until my daughter had unloaded everything from the car to donate. They then told her drop offs stop at 2pm even though the sign says 8pm. They told her she had to load everything back in the car and come back later or she would get fined. This family is never going back
Good experience. Cashier was nice. Had a ton of stuff. Quick service. Made 3 trips getting furniture. Each time they brought out my stuff pretty quick.
Nice folks...Michele at check out was super friendly. Could have used a 2nd cashier...it was pretty busy
Was in the store with face covering on and they wanted me to put there mask on also it does not state that on there website wont be going back!
My family and I found lots of great buys there today... very satisfying experience
So far it has been a delightful store to shop and browse around and find some interesting items. But that have raised the prices so you just have to look a little harder or pass .
I like the selection of items to choose from and the variety of same items. I think some items are WAY over priced while others in comparison WAY under which they need to address. For the most part service is great here and returns welcome for in-store credit only, but that doesnt bother me.
Nice items for sale, picked up a great coffee container and measuring spoon. Also fantastic place to donate items that I no longer need. Staff is very courteous, be patient on the weekends it gets busy for drop offs.
Good shopping as always 😊... The one item I feel has been overpriced for yrs is your candles. So close to retail stores prices, some more, such as the small unused ones for$1.99 are @ Dollar store, $1.00 less. Other than candles, I like all the rest. Thanks
Excellent stuff, great people to deal with. The only small problem I have with them: they do not give coupons/rebates when you bring in a ton of stuff. That is why I mostly go to Value Village Everett
I would have rated 5 stars up to 1-2 months ago. (Very clean, well organized, friendly staff and USE TO be fairly priced) I am extremely disappointed in them for their price hikes lately. Am running across used things you can buy at Wal-Mart new for cheaper. Why are you guys getting greedy? Keep it up and I expect your ratings will drop drastically
Getting more expensive
Really good prices. Efficient hard working staff. New items are over priced. Some great bargains on used.
I love the Goodwill. Plain and simple.
Check out gal, Kristina, was awesome!
They have 50% off RED and PINK tags TODAY!!! I found an antique slide projector and case in perfect condition!!!
Nice store large selection. Pricing moderate not bad . Enjoyed it but leave kids home so you can shop in peace.
Usually good stuff. Always helpful employees. Decent thrift store prices. Clean, usually organized. I hate how they shelve the art work, its an awkward mess.
I have been to this store 3 times...and all 3 times the customer service has been excellent ~ the store has been clean andwell-organized ~ and there is enough of a selection of products to choose from that I have yet to walk out empty -handed!!! 😉
Tonight when I dropped off my donations, I was greeted by a friendly, enthusiastic employee who obviously loves his job. He made my day!
How do you rate a Good Will? It does what it set out to server, so its rated against all of its brethren stores. Medium sized location. Clothes, kitchen, kitchy stuff, and other miscellaneous random finds.
Way overpriced. Ive shopped at Goodwills all across the country, and this by far is the priciest. Items are priced 2-3X more than what Ive seen at other Goodwills, so somethings are not a bargain at all. Store was clean and items were organized. Lots of inventory on hand.
Good Will is the best place to shop.I like and appreciate.
There is always a great selection of stuff here. A good group of people who donate make sure this place is a sufficient secondhand store .
Love shopping here! They keep the store clean, de-cluttered (as well as they can) and everything is priced right. I always find goodies! Today i found a floor lamp.... didnt have the glass globes but I found those too! Theyre different but will look nice. I found great old doilies, the fabric I needed to finish my curtains, and a coffee cup that got broken almost brand new! I was looking for a small shelf and only paid$6.99.
This store seems to have a wide range of things. It is well kept up and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Super unprofessional and gross behavior towards customers with health conditions I will definitely let everyone know not to donate or come back here....it’s a goodwill for crying out loud.
I really missed my Goodwill do glad its back open again, and supper clean too
The guy with A curly Afro handling drop offs when you’re donating stuff has a serious rudeness an anger problem with people dropping things off. Before you have done anything it’s like he hates his life and it’s your fault for dropping something off. Absolutely upsetting experience.
Have a nice selection Electronics prices are reasonable pretty good Mall store I like it
Bought some awesome antique chairs for ten bucks a piece here. Recovered the seats in Pendleton wool. Always a treasure adventure!
We love this place. Shop here a lot. New and used. Always new things. Nice staff too.
Prices have increased but I am still able to find good deals
I love this goodwill. The prices are not the lowest. But you can find great stuff.
It is real difficult to live an alternative lifestyle and have little spare money for clothes. Thankfully I love to make new things and have no problem with preowned items. I no longer shop at most other stores that carry gothic apparel because I find much better deals and tons of material to work with here! I would recommend it to anyone.
Way way over priced merchandise, I think they might have forgot their a thrift store and all the items they are selling were at one point donated, honestly should rename the store Goldwill cuase thats what the ceo is filling their pockets with.
Given the unemployment rate, shortage of funds, etc. due to the pandemic, you might consider lowering your prices, which (in many cases) are approaching those of retail outlets.
Clean well organized thrift store, they get a good amount of donations keeping their stock fresh and the options always changing.
Large, well kept store with large parking lot that was full! Nice folks working there.
Very organized and they dont muddle up the store with junk. Most of the stuff is in great condition.
Prices can be a bit high on some things...especially considering youre buying used stuff. There are lots of neat things at this store. Staff are very friendly.
Friendly helpful staff great prices...always a treasure hunt!
Good place to go find a lot of cool stuff parking there for everybody if you get there early enough thats my report
Pretty good variety of stuff for a thrift store, Ive gotten many aquariums and clothing items for fantastic prices
I love going to Goodwill, but the prices on most stuff is outrageous. I go on senior day because I cant afford stuff otherwise!
It’s clean but a little disorganized. Quality of clothes is pretty high but also it’s more expensive then you’d expect.
Good selection but I think they need to fire the guy that does the pricing of items
Best Goodwill ever! Well organized and great furniture!
Helpful personnel. Usually find at least a couple items worth buying.
I love this Goodwill! The staff is wonderful from management, front in clerks are always helpful and kind. I recieve kind smiles and several thanks from the donation recievers. The quality of items usually exceeds my expectation.
