I called Rite Aid Pharmacy yesterday to have an emergent prescription filled for a blood clot in my leg. My regular pharmacy did not have it and I was pressed for time. What a mistake... I talked to the woman working in the pharmacy to see if they had any of what I needed. They did. So she took my information, said she would call my pharmacy and get the info to fill it and told me it would be ready later on. BUT instead of doing that she just never filled it, didnt bother to call, didnt bother to tell me anything and then...she left. I left Rite Aid pharmacy because of these very issues and it appears they have not changed at all. As a drug store you would think they would be a little competent but the whole pharmacy staff seems pretty incapable and SHAME ON YOU RITE AID FOR STAFFING YOUR PHARMACY SO POORLY!!! THERE IS ONE MAN WORKING ALONE RIGHT NOW. I FEEL SORRY FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES AND CAN IMAGINE YOURE A TERRIBLE EMPLOYER.

Great friendly customer service, and they do utilize a text/phone update when your medications are ready!I would highly recommend Rite before stopping anywhere else.They are also conveniently located just off SR 2 in Monroe, with great parking.

I called to get my rescue inhaler refilled and it’s been three days and still haven’t gotten it. I am currently having a moderate asthma attack. I had someone call me from the pharmacy and tell me that I would get it by today at 3PM then they called me at 3:30PM that it wouldn’t be till later today then I called at 8:30 because I still hadn’t heard that the rescue inhaler had been filled and the pharmacist who answered said it wasn’t on file and the nvm that he had found where he called it in but that it wouldn’t be available to me for two days maybe tomorrow. I am going to have to call another rite aid 30-40 minutes away to get this life saving drug. It’s now 1:15 AM and I cannot sleep because my asthma gets so bad without my inhaler during an attack that I cannot lay down.

A guy working Thursday evening told my husband they get a shipment of covid test in Sunday so come in Sunday morning. I arrived at 6:09 & waited 50 minutes in the parking lot for the store to open & a girl working said they dont get shipments in Sunday mornings, only Thursdays. Thanks for wasting my time. I would have given 1 ⭐ but the morning crew was nice and it wasnt their fault. It is just really frustrating I woke up and drove 30 minutes to wait for almost an hour for nothing

Wife tries Rite Aid Website to make an covid 2nd appointment. Website fails to make appointments.... She called yesterday to Rite Aid pharmacy in Monroe. Lady pharmacist said to just come in Saturday. Wife goes in right as they open. Man said she had to make an appointment. She explained why she came in because of the lady pharmacist said too. He said it would be several hours before she could get in. She went to Walmart and got it right away. So dont go to Rita Aid...

Prescriptions almost never ready at the time given. Never get a call telling me it wont be ready and usually they wont be ready for several hours after the time given. This has happened over and over. Going to town is not just a short trip for me. I guess from now on I have to call and make sure its ready even though sitting through all the automated options just to talk to someone is a real pain. Not sure why you have me enter my number at the end of entering my prescription if you dont call anyway.

This pharmacy is great. They have a drive thru, it’s very convenient for me since I have 3 young children and it’s tough to get everyone out of the car to go into the pharmacy. I also pickup medication for my parents and sometime I need numerous transactions. I feel bad for taking so much time in the drive thru and causing a line, but I’m more than thankful for the convenience.

Horrible experiences multiple times!! Most recent is the lack of quality or care from the pharmacy! Dropped a prescription off after dislocation of my arm, they told me Id be notified of my prescription ready in about an hour and a half. I waited, and NEVER received any communication! They failed too, of not telling me before leaving Id be limited on when to pick it up by. They are now closed up!!! Im in excruciating pain and I cant get my script back from them even to be filled from somewhere else! Im left without anything or anyone even available to help recify the problem.Will never use their store for anything again.

Pharmacy only has one cashier for both counter and drive through. Vehicles are in line around the corner of the building. One cashier needs to be dedicated to each (counter and drive through). Friendly service from all the pharmacy staff once you can finally make it through to the drive through window. An investment in an additional cashier in the pharmacy eould go such a long way. Been waiting 13 minutes and still 3 cars ahead of me in drive through!!!. Aggravating! When can we see the change for a cashier at each location?UPDATE: Today is 14 Oct 2020: Still only one person to run the pharmacy and drive through! Why is this not being addressed by having one person at each counter. Apparently they have again demonstrated customer service is not a priority! Someone actually needs to get this problem corrected.UPDATE #2: I found that they still have failed to correct the problem as of today, March 19, 2021. Why cant the management at this store fix this problem and hire another cashier for the pharmacy drive up window?

I have been using Rite Aid for my pharmacy needs for over 15 years... And today is the first time I have had a poor experience. But it was really disappointing.I get a refill every few weeks for my daughters medication. I always use the drive thru.Last time I was there the assistant told me that in the future I should use the drop off instead for refills, instead of using the line. She said they would refill the prescription and text me as usual.So, today I used the drop off.Immediately the woman was obviously irritated and informed me that she would get to me, after helping the other customers. Then informed me that in the future I should not use the drop off, but only the line, unless I had hard paperwork.I dont mind using the other line, but I think they need to get everyone on the same page so they are not sending mixed information.After scolding me, she then rolled her eyes and said so, you want to come back tomorrow?.Uhmmm. Well, my daughter requires this medication every night and its obviously empty... So, no ... I will need it tonight. She then rolled her eyes AGAIN and told me that it would be at least an hour...Ok, well, that ok.. because its only 4pm, and last I checked you were open until 10pm.See you soon.... Ill be sure to use the line this time;)

Refused to enforce Washington state face coving mandate for fear of “offending” customers. Pointed out to store manager customer coughing with no mask. I would hope that Rite Aid would prioritize health and safety of customers over fear of offending people who refuse to follow the state requirement. We will not be using this store again.

Ive filled prescriptions at this location twice. Great Staff, Great Location, significantly understaffed for the amount of people they support. I live east of Monroe and if you are familiar with the area, traffic gets Wonderful this time of year. The second (and last) prescription I will fill at this location took a total of 4 attempts to pickup yesterday. Approx 30 min after my Doc appointment, around lunchtime only to be told, we need to order one of your Rxs which will arrive Monday which I said NO to as its an important Rx. They offered to call FM across the street but they too, didnt have it. I called my DOCS office, they found an alternative and sent it to Rite Aid to fill. I know this by the call back from my DOCS office. OK cool, Ill head into town for this, grab dinner and other things. Stopped by the Rite Aid pharmacy before dinner, approx 3-4 hours after the call to the DOCs office for an alternative and the Rx has yet to be completed, but we close at 6pm. *(the website says 10pm, by the way). So, we go to dinner and come back 10 min prior to 6pm and finally get the last of what we need. Again, Great People, Great location....Rite Aid is putting their employees at risk with this kind of demand. Every time we went back, they were extremely busy with no end in site. Hope this helps!

Great staff! Very friendly and helpful. They always have everything stocked too. The only thing that I don’t like about this place is they tell me a refill would be available and it’s not always accurate, usually off by a day or two. Has happened a few times so I’m giving this place 4 stars.

I went in for passport photos. I was second in line and had to wait about 10 minutes before I was helped, or even recognized. Im used to Costco passport photos which are inexpensive. These ones were $9.82 and they dont cut them. I asked why, but I the lady taking the picture ignored my question.

Pharmacy work is intense. A difficult job when many people are relying on medications for their health. Not everyone is kind and has expectations which oftentimes are not the Pharmacy area but physicians or insurance providers. This Pharmacy is top-notch. They do their best to fulfill the needs of their clients in a friendly manner. I love the fact that I can call in, walk in, or drive in. They will tell me, call me, or textme when my prescriptions are ready.The store nice with a variety of convient food, beauty health care products, supplements, toys, school business items, photo center,seasonal items, cleaningand medical supplies so much more. The staff is friendly and the store is clean and well-organized.and let me know when a prescription is available. The drive-in window is very convenient.

I went to a doctor this morning for a respiratory infection and had my meds sent here. I took over an hour just getting to the pharmacy thinking that since everything was sent way in advance I wouldn’t spend a lot of time there. Boy was I wrong lol. They told me it would be a 45 minute wait. It shouldn’t take close to 2 1/2 hours to fill a prescription. Only reason I had it sent there was because I live nearby. The “convenience” of it being closest to home was not worth it.

We waited, in the store, for over an hour for my daughters prescription to be filled. When my daughter approached the counter to inquire about the progress/wait, she was informed that they had LOST her prescription!!! Apparently, one of the techs had started entering the information in their system towards the end of her shift. I guess, once that clock struck 5, she dropped what she was doing and went home.That left the pharmacist and techs scrambling to find it. Outrageous!!

Terribly rude employees working in the pharmacy. Tried to tell us to go around or inside while trying to figure out our insurance so they could bill them. I told them no because we are dealing with it now not later. They said they need to help the people behind us. I asked them what makes them more important than us and why should we have to wait? They had no good response to that. I will never go back there again. I will be contacting Ride Aid corporation, not that they will care Im sure.

Been in Monroe for more than 10 years. Rite Aid consistently provides the worst experience when it comes to getting scrips filled. It doesnt matter if youre sick and hurting or you are just picking up routine meds. Be prepared for a wait and if youre really unlucky, a tedious run around. There are plenty of other places in town that will take better care of you. Consider visiting any one of them before trusting this store with your health care needs.

Nice store but not the best pharmacy or staff overall. A younger lady was putting away stock while loudly complaining and cussing about not being able to leave on time to go out for national tequila day... Called in a script two days ago and still had to wait for them to fill it. Other staff members were nice.

We always go here, expecting a wait, because it takes awhile to fill prescriptions. While we wait, we do our shopping and it is always very time effective; getting what we want, at our leisure, and then checking out with our prescription and/or getting a flu shot or any other vaccination that we decide to get. We LOVE being able to go here for shots, instead of making an annoying doctors appointment!!!

Pharmacy can be extremely rude. I called today for an explanation on my prescription and the pharmacist talked to me like I was an idiot. I havent had many issues before, but I may have to consider moving the thousands of money for prescriptions somewhere else. The way I was treated was unacceptable.

I have only had one problem with this location and they made it right the first time. Its always clean when I come in, staff are friendly and helpful even when I am in the worst mood possible; which is 90% of the time. I am able to find what I need and if I cant there is someone on the floor to help me out. When I refill my Rx, I never have the Rx # so I just talk to Erica or whoever answer the phone and they are happy to help! Sometimes its available right away, other times I have to wait. Out of the other pharmacies in the area, Rite Aid is the one for me! Now if only they were open 24/7 like Walgreens. :)

Im pretty sure when it comes to filling prescriptions they run a game plan of dont start until the customer arrives to pick it up There has not been a single time where I have been given a time later in the day when it will be ready, usually about two hours after ordering a refill, where they have not told me oh were still working on that, it will be ready in 20-25 minutes. Whether it be two hours, three hours, or like today, four hours after ordering a prescription, its always the same. 20-25 minutes after arriving to pick it up.

Monroe rite aid has the worst customer service, there is never enough staff on in the pharmacy. I am sure the pharmacy is where they make their money but it is always understaffed. I have already transferred my moms prescriptions out ( anout $3,000 a month) now I’m about to do the same with my sons!!!

I have been using the pharmacy here for years. There has been a steady decline in customer service. The last 6 or 7 times Ive refilled my meds via the automated number it tells you the time it will be ready for pick up and you then agree. Every single time you come in they say oh its still going to be 45 minutes. Every. Single. Fricking. Time. If I wanted to wait in your store for an hour I wouldnt call ahead. Im transferring my scripts tomorrow.

I usually dont have a problem with this Rite Aid Pharmacy. UNTIL I had to get a prescription for pain medication. I realized that some of the pills had been switched out for a similar looking pill that ended up being Ibuprofen from a CVS? When I returned to confront them I got a horrible attitude from the supposed Manager woman. She told me that her employees would never do that. She was extremely rude and acted like I was a complete scumbag drug addict, trying to come up on a couple extra pain killers? I was so flustered I didnt even get her name. I have Fibromyalgia and experience a lot of pain at times. Now, I NEVER get my pain meds there. I go to another Pharmacy and NEVER have any problems!!!

The pharmacy is beyond slow, prescription orders can get lost, and delay between received orders and final pickup can stretch into hours. They are not always communicative about changes in prescription status, leaving it on the consumer to figure it out.
