Just went to retrieve a vehicle for a friend. After going to multiple departments I was directed to were I needed to go. Service employees were polite and helpful. Explained everything in detail. If ever need their services again I will go here.
Ryan Service Department is a JOKE..Charged me $163.00 just to tell me I had a bent rod (basically) even though I just asked to check to see why I was shaking.. not an entire 100 point inspection.. then said it would cost me over 800 to fix...had it fixed by my other mechanic for 380.. Ryan Service is a RIP OFF..too bad I love my Chevys
I am an out of state buyer, and there was an easy chance for that alone to derail my purchase from Ryan Automotive. It didn’t even create a hiccup with this team. They offered to pick me up from the airport, and assisted me with figuring my taxable responsibilities in my home state.I also desired to visit an unaffiliated mechanic before finalizing the purchase, for a general once-over, and they allowed with notable patienceAnd now I need to speak about Megan Abbott.I mentioned that Ryan Automotive offered to pick me up from the airport? Well, I declined at the outset, sure that I would either be able to find a taxi or uber, or, if pressed, rent a car.Wrong. I arrived at 7pm, and there were no cars available to rent (I had no reservation), and strangely, uber and Lyft were not available. So, after clocking out for the evening, Megan came and picked me up from the airport, despite it absolutely being my fault that I needed the ride. And it doesn’t stop there- she agreed to drive me to my hotel (remember, I hadn’t even seen the car I came to see, or the dealership yet), and had the kindness to ask if I had enough food for the evening. Upon my negative response- SHE TOOK ME TO A RESTAURANT to stock up. Then she delivered me to my hotel.The following morning, she picked me up, and brought me to the dealership. She handled our deal smoothly, and even made sure the car I was buying had a full tank (I’m serious, it was topped off).Ryan Auto did a perfectly smooth job taking care of me, but I cannot say enough about Megan. Without her, my little trip down to buy a car could have been halfway to a nightmare. She deserves every bit of praise, and I am extremely lucky to have been a customer of hers.
Please read this review!!!My sons car had been placed on cinder blocks and all tires removed, I am over 2 hours away. My son is a student at ULM and resides at Pinnacle apartments, I live in Central Louisiana. Not purchasing this vehicle at RYAN, I give them a call.The gentleman I spoke with Dave McClellan, treated me as if I where his very own brother. He put me with the right folks and they as a group took care of this just like family. They could have took advantage but instead took the economical position or rather commonsense approach using their own vendors also.I can not speak higher of a company, truly an American company with American values. Really appreciate you!!!! They even offered to take him to class, unbelievable service.These guys borrowed tires from someone, then ordered me some used rims and new tires, placed locking nuts on tires where this wouldnt happen again. Keeping me informed on price and expectancy the whole time through and visiting with my son to make sure he understood everything.
I recently purchased a vehicle here. My salesman, Mike Collins, was personable, not pushy and made the process easy. The paperwork process was very efficient. I would highly recommend visiting Mike if you are looking for a new vehicle.

Ill admit Im usually an avoid taking your car to the dealership preacher, but Ryan is different. Ive always felt like I was treated fairly and that I was getting a good deal for my money.

While this experience was marginally better than my last, I do have to say that at least this time the serice department tried to make it right. This time when making my appointment for a oil change and tire rotation I requested shuttle service back to work. When I arrived I had to wait over an hour for a shuttle. Due to this I missed some business meetings. Two hours after dropping off my car for servicing, I was called and notified that my car was ready to be picked up. I once again iterated that I would need shuttle service. After waiting for a half hour, I called and they said the driver tried calling (my phone had never rang with a call from the driver), but they would be right over. After another 10 minutes, I called back again and stated that if a driver had not arrived with 5 minutes (I only live a 3-4 minutes drive away), that they would need to provide the servicing for free. When the driver finally arrived almost 10 minutes later (about 45 minutes from when I was first notified that my car was ready), he took me to the service department. Fortunately they did have the paperwork drawn up for me to sign, I was not charged for the work performed, and my car was ready to go. It was this level service that causes me to say it was marginally better than last time. The quality of service from the service department needs to drastically improve.

I was not totally satisfied with my service. I was asked to bring my vehicle to the paint and collision Dept for Monday. And that it would be finished that Thursday. I waited for a call to say that my vehicle was ready. It never came. I called the next day. I was then told that it would definitely be finished by Tuesday. Surprisingly, I was called Monday to pick it up. If I had rental insurance, I wondered if they would have approved me for the additional days. The car had dust from sanding all on the dashboard as well as inside. On the outside where tape was used to hold the covering. It was not cleaned off. Wasnt the best experience. The paint job itself was very good.
Easy to deal with. Very helpful. This is my fifth time to purchase vehicles from them.
