Selection was okay. Really wanted 2 pieces they had on the showroom floor, but would not let me purchase. Was out of stock and would not be available for another month. They lost put on an immediate sale.

Purchased furniture from here and within 3 months both pieces stopped reclining and the “warranty” you purchase with the furniture was not helpful. I do not recommend doing business here.

This place is a ripoff!! My mom received a defective mattress. It has a sank in it. They refuse to give her another one. Shes on a fixed income so she had to save up her money for that mattress. Now shes getting screwed!! They wont refund her or give her another mattress. Shame on you! Is this how you treat your customers? Im appalled at such poor service.

My husband and I went to every place in Monroe looking for a new recliner for me. But finally we went to both of the Ivan Smith stores in Monroe; however it was the location on Louisville Ave. in Monroe La. where we found what we had been looking for all over... My new recliner! They were wonderful!! They were not pushy like most sales people. They were very knowledgeable about their furniture and all the features of each piece. I found my perfect recliner! Thank you to our salesman Chris, to Mr. Louis and the rest of the whole staff! Yall were so much fun! The over all experience was so much fun and I had gone to every place in Monroe and West Monroe. But the only places that I actually really liked my experience was with Ivan Smith.

I am truly pleased with the customer service I received at Ivan Smith’s Furniture. I started out with a friendly salesman and finished my stroll with an even more informative and friendly staff member. Chris remembered me from previous years and after hearing my dissatisfaction about another local furniture store’s products he made sure to be descriptive and honest about each piece of furniture I looked at. In a matter of less than 30 minutes and another walk through I eyed such a beautiful sofa I missed the first time around that I purchased two! They sit great and are gorgeous to look at!

My set was put together perfectly with no damages and the two also disposed all trash that they brought in.
