Awesome service! They quoted me a good price, and then ended up charging me $100 less because it didn’t take them as much time as they thought it would. I’ve never had mechanics give back money for time not spent. Super knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Easy no hassle dealership, I worked with Tom to purchase a new R1250RT and it could not have gone better. Tom is a very welcoming and experienced sales person who loves motorcycling. He’s been a buyer as many times as he’s been seller, so he understands your viewpoint. I had lots of questions, which we handled mostly through email and text and he was able to answer everything quickly. When I went to pick the bike up everything was perfect and polished and I was in and out in no time. You can’t go wrong with this dealership and with Tom.

Guys this place is great. I had to drive all the way from Fremont because the dealer where I bought my bike out in San Jose wanted over $200 more than I paid at Cycle Specialties for the first service on my bike. the service was outstanding I would recommend this place to anyone.

Always amazing customer service weather youre buying a $2 part or a $20,000 bike. I just had to replace a tire on my bobber and with covid shortages my Whitehall tire was backordered everywhere but Gail was super helpful and even though they didnt have it and couldnt order it he found another store that did have one in stock. I brought it to them to be mounted to my wheel and even though they used silver weights to balance my black rim I %100 recommend stopping in for anything you need for your motorcycle.

I was more than satisfied with the purchase of my 2021 CanAm Ryker. Tom(salesman) made the process easy and was very informative of the process and the Ryker. I drove 1.5hrs from home to make this purchase. This is due to the dealer near me hiked the price up an extra $2000 dollars. I paid fair market price at Cycle Specialties and I fully appreciate their honesty. I also bought a few parts from them and the parts counter personnel were knowledgable about how to install and made great recommendations. Overall I had a great experience! This is a place I have visited 3 times. The gentleman Dirk, is his name is always very patient and helpful, not pushy at all and gives you the best options.

I first stopped by here in December 2018 to take a look at the K1600B after test driving it at the Long Beach motorcycle show. They happened to have a K1600B Grand America demo bike. We took it for a drive and were very impressed. Im not an impulse buyer so out buying a new bike on hold. Eight months later I was looking online and found one in Long Beach BMW discounted substantially. I called Tom at Cycle Specialties and he said youre not going to have to go to Long Beach to buy that bike, youre buying ours. He offered me a better deal so I bought it in August. I really cant say enough good things about my experience here. I didnt ever feel pressured which is probably why I bought from them. Tom is knowledgeable about BMW motorcycles which helped since this is my first one. Thank you very much.

Shop no further than Cycle Specialties... I trailered my 05 GS from Placerville to get help with a software issue and Daniel and his crew were professional, efficient, and yes, even friendly. I was in and out in less than an hour but they were sure to allow for time to test ride and confirm that the issue had indeed been resolved. I would give anything for these folks to be my closest dealership, but it is worth the trip just to work with them. Thanks guys.

The sales staff is unprofessional. They act like the have to market cornered. They talk down to the customer, no way to run a business. I would rather pay more money and get great service.

The selection is small but I enjoyed the one motorcycle that the salesman (Dirk Paintedman) recommended it was in my price range and it was beautiful, comfortable to sit on. Triumph t120 Bonneville. Although Id like to add the atmosphere was different compared to the other 5 stores Ive been to. It felt more serious and not suitable for those who want a bike for fun, fast, and showy but a bike for long comfortable rides

Worked with Tom on getting a new BMW motorcycle and was greatly displease with the service that Ive receive. I have requested a quote with a trade in and the Tom included unnecessary markups that negated the value of the trade in. In other words, I was paying full MSRP and giving them a free motorcycle. No thanks!

These guys are great. Super helpful and knowledgeable. The sales staff are friendly and approachable. Gail can answer all your Triumph questions. The service staff is great. They worked on my 98 BMW K1200RS and were able to get it purring like kitten.

So I am travelling from Vancouver, BC to Modesto, CA on my BMW 1200GSA - and 75 miles out my drive shaft blows up in the middle of a 5 lane California highway. We towed it into Cycle Specialties who took it into the shop at 9 am the next morning and had me on the road again by noon. This organization really looked after us and the service was first class. A big thank you to Rick in service, and John (owner) for helping me out so quickly. I highly recommend this dealership...and to the 7 California police vehicles that passed me stranded on the highway and didnt stop to help, maybe take lessons from this organization (no stars for them)!

I drove from Stockton to this location. The gentlemans customer service was incredible. We felt comfortable and welcomed. After a couple of jokes he gave us a lot if great information. We went in there looking for an atv and he was able to answer all our questions and was very informative. He definitely went out of his way to take care of us. Thank you

Gail and Tom were life-savers to me when my BMW K1200LT broke down as I was traveling from New Orleans to Alaska. They stored my bike there until I could have it shipped back to New Orleans for warranty work and put me on another Beemer k1200 LT for a more-than-fair price. They helped salvage my bucket-list trip and had me back on the road singing their praises. These guys are great and will take good care of you!

Ive been to most of the BMW / Triumph dealers in a 100 mile radius. Im so glad this one is in my hometown!. It may not be the biggest nor the smallest but the people there treat you like a friend in every department. Tom helped me pick out a bike but all the guys there are a team. I felt welcomed every time Ive been in there, usually not making any purchase. From the ownerJohn, the team, Daniel, Dirk, Gail, Jimmy, and the service manager Rick; they get a standing ovation. A small example; I ordered a small special nut for my Triumph and the manufacturer did not have any to send. John made a special call to me to make it right over a $3 part I needed! Gail can tell you anything about a bike and his love for motorcycles are obvious. Daniel is always busy but never for you. His customer service and people skills are excellent. I noticed him helping some adventure riders from Alaska and I saw the gratitude from their expressions. He goes out of his way to make sure the customer is happy. Finally, Tom the guy that sold me my bike. I gave him such a hard time I feel bad. I encourage anybody that reads this to seek him out. He may be scarred but a customer gained from this post might make it better.

Overall I have been more then satisfied dealing with Cycle Specialties. Although i have yet to purchase a motorcycle, Tom and Gail have been awesome! Between the two they have helped me narrow my choices down to what I hope will be the perfect bike for me. Very much appreciated guys ! Thanks!

Highly recommended for BMW motorcycle repairs! Took good care of my major transmission issue, in record time, at a (comparatively) reasonable price, and with impressive expertise, as well as good explanations. Well worth the few extra miles, even if coming from the Bay Area! The accessories selection and prices also looked good to me, in general, but especially so if they run promotions or sales (even if I havent bought anything this time).

Went to buy a bike yesterday deal did not work out now my pink slip is missing. Either Gail or the parts guy who wanted to buy the bike has it. off to dmv to get a replacement pink slip.

Stopped by a visit while I was in Modesto for a meeting. Nice shop but nicer staff. Didnt have a particular interest in buying anything, but the salesman (Dirk?)was very informative and helpful about some general questions I had about tire selections for my Tiger 800xc. Ill go out of my way to return. Ill give the last star when I go back and buy or use service.

Motorcycle lover here, I stop in from time to time to see the new BMW and Triumph models, and look at the used bikes. Staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.

I live in Merced, a town with NO ONE, who knows how to work on BMW motorcycles. Recently, I had a fuel line break and needed to send my older K75 to a shop that knew what to do. I chose Cycle Specialties over BMW-Fresno because its a little closer to where I live. Unfortunately, we had some drama when they didnt get to my bike in the timeframe they had promised. Thankfully, John, the owner, heard my concerns and took care of me. As a consumer, I understand that life happens, but I expect the recovery to acknowledge the inconvenience, and they did. I will be bringing my bike back for any future maintenance. Also, they detail your bike which is nice.

This is a GREAT motorcycle shop. They know what they are doing, they care and they are fair. Im from Maryland and came in for emergency service on my R1150RT. The team squeezed me in right away for necessary repairs, and then John, who owns the place (!), jumped in to mount the new set of tires I also needed. They turned a bad situation into a great start for a tour of Yosemite.

I made the mistake of giving Cycle Specialties my private number several years ago when I was shopping for a motorcycle. I have received harassing recorded calls from their autodialer ever since, despite my number being on the federal Do Not Call list and numerous complaints to the business and to the FTC. DONT SUPPORT THIS TYPE OF AGGRESSIVE, HARASSING, AND ILLEGAL MARKETING-- TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! There are many other BMW dealers and shops in northern California that maintain ethical practices.

Great service with great rates...You can tell the owner has totally hand picked this crew from sales to the service dept for quality customer care....proud owner of bmw s1000rr. I dont take my bike anywhere else anymore because of the relationships the staff has built with me and when i drag a knee up hwy 120 I know every nut n bolt has been torqued to spec.

First of all, let me say that for me first impressions count and this review will explain. When I walked into this establishment I was never greeted though there were plenty of employees. A couple of days before I had gone in to order a $500 Shoei helmet. I successfully ordered it as anyone would expect when a retailer is taking your money. However Im very focused as well on service after the sale. I had to call a couple days later to find out if it had come in and it had, they never bothered to call me to let me know as they promised! My friend and I went to go pick it up. When we walked in everyone looked as though we were carrying will work for food signs) we approached the parts counter where the salesman just stared at me without asking if I needed help. I handed him my receipt and said I came to pick up a helmet I ordered. He stared at the receipt, got up and walked in the back room. My friend looked at me and said so much for friendly service the guy came back and sat the box down on the counter and said have a nice day! No thank you just have a nice day. We walked out and my friend said dude, that guy should have opened the box and made sure its the right helmet, so we put it on my tailgate and opened the box to find that it was in fact the wrong helmet! Keep in mind this is a $500.00 helmet. We went back in and the guy said whats wrong? I said its the wrong helmet . He wasnt happy. He went in the back again and came out with another box that had my name taped to th box in plain site. He just never bothered to look obviously. He put it on the counter again and said there it is! Have a nice day! Again not even looking to see if it was the right helmet. I insisted that we open and look at it. He acted like I just asked him to drink a bottle of arsenic! We opened it and it was the right one this time. Now the point here is I drove a half hour out of my way to get there both times, if I had just gone home without opening the first box there would have been a 3rd trip. And I would have been beyond mad! Will never spend another dime at this establishment, period. End of story. No customer service skills whatsoever with any of them. Very rude behavior.

They have no clue what theyre doing or what promotions they run. They will try scamming you into buying thousands of dollars in accessories and not honor what they first tell you.

The bikes on the showroom floor for consideration appeared to be professionally detailed including the bike I purchased.....unlike HD motors down the street...When buying a Sena for my helmet, several staff members helped with the ENTIRE purchase, including installion!OMG! Traveled to California from Omaha Nebraska on my Tiger XCx. I had some concerns about the suspension which the service department looked at for free. Definitely the kind of guys you want when youre so far from home.
