Great food. I had the Pork Ragu and my wife had the Frutti di Mare and they were both AMAZING. Their sauce is fresh and tasty. The cheesecake was rich and creamy. Staff was amazing and the manager stopped by a few times to ensure we were enjoying our visit. The ballroom it was in was romantic and quiet. Will be back soon!

Had an amazing dinner here tonight. First time visit and I have to say they have the best pasta in mobile! You can tell its definitely made in house. The tomato sauce thats served with the bread and the fritto misto appetizer was so flavorful. Both our meals and dessert were all so good we will definitely be back soon!

Amazing service and food. Beautiful atmosphere

The service and food were amazing. The server was very knowledgeable. The manager consistently checked in on our table. The food was truly 5 star. The charcuterie board had cheeses, olives, and prosciutto that so flavorful. The Seared Diver Scallops are my new benchmark for scallops. The Grilled Beef Tenderloin Medallions were juicing, tender, and packed with flavor. We finished it off with a slice of strawberry cheesecake. Again, another benchmark setter! The top layer was plain cheesecake, the second was infused with strawberry. Accompanied, by candied caramel. It was so rich and light. I really wish I would have taken pictures. Theres always next time.

We enjoyed breakfast in The Trellis Room several days last week while staying in The Battle House. The food is very good, and the wait staff is fantastic. They made our stay even more enjoyable.

We celebrated our 17th anniversary at the Trellis Room. Our experience was impeccable! David was prompt and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the medallions and my husband had the lasagna, both were superb. Outstanding cheesecake! 10/10 Overall and we will be returning.

What can I say about this place that wasnt prefect? The decor, the staff, and the food were all outstanding! We especially liked the red snapper and the scallops entrees ... the charcuterie board and the spicy shrimp appetizers were also to die for.One of the best meals we have had in the last 20 years.

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant and the staff. The food was absolutely amazing- the best Italian food I’ve had in Mobile.Moreover, our server, Jewel, was the best server I’ve ever had in any restaurant. We had many custom questions/requests and she handled them like the professional she was. Best service I’ve ever had.Additionally, I accidentally dropped my makeup bag under the table and she tracked me down and returned it to me nearly an hour later. I couldn’t believe it. This woman is amazing and deserves a raise and a promotion.

I get covid has changed things but to stand at the hostess station for 15 minutes and see tons of empty tables, to have the wait staff walk by multiple times and make eye contact but have nobody even acknowledge your presence is absurd. If you’re paying like this is premium food, which having eaten here in the past it is far from it, at least be treated like you exist. Three experiences here, all three terrible. Avoid this place. MANY better options within 3 blocks.

Best breakfast downtown. The buffet is great and you can still get a la carte items like an omelette or pancakes included at the buffet price. The service is always excellent, a quiet hideaway. Dinner is exceptional and the menu changes often.

Came here for our Anniversary dinner and we were blown away! The service was top notch and our server was very attentive! The food was delicious and amazing! I couldnt stop telling my husband how delicious and flavorful the food was! We will definitely be back!

Very good food but not worth the money in my opinion. Hostess station was left unattended so we had to get a hotel employee to assist us. I will say the service was outstanding, once we were seated. Prices are high, portions are decent, and the food is fairly flavorful. Ambiance is mediocre. Restaurant is connected to the hotel lobby bathroom area, and lots of traffic going through the restaurant from non diners. Overall I give it a 3 out of 5.

Great late night dinner!

Was very quiet and quaint when my husband and I dined. Unique menu items; delicious steak and attentive wait staff. Slightly disappointed in the street level location versus higher floor level and bay view.

Awesome interior, fabulous southern inspired menu, amazing desserts, four star dining, beautiful historic hotel living/dining, charming staff, amazing bartenders and drinks, over all a must do/see for visitors to Mobile Alabama. Great location for walking and exploring downtown Mobile as well. Convenient to the courthouse & convention centers.

I highly recommend the shrimp and pesto pasta. It was outstanding! Our sever was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. We went there on a Wednesday for a business dinner, so it was not crowded at all. It was perfect for the occasion, but looked better suited for a romantic rendezvous. I definitely recommend it if you want a night out with your sweetheart. I would NOT bring young children there though. Find another place to feed the kids so the other patrons have their quiet place where they can get away from it all and remember how it feels to be a thriving adult whose ideas are valued and interesting.

We went here for date night, and I was absolutely wowed! Our service was impeccable, the food was divine, and the atmosphere perfect. I highly recommend the chef as he whipped me something up that was not even on the menu. Highly recommend a trip to the Trellis room.

Amazing experience. The Trellis restaurant, the Bread Pudding is delectable with drizzle ofCarmel topping. Spa was relaxing, I felt pampered.The historic Battle House beautiful !

We went to dinner on Thursday at 6 p.m. and were greeted and seated and assisted by a young lady name Kathryn .She was so professional and friendly.Our food was prepared wonderfully and even the top chef came out( his name is John) and greeted us It was our anniversary and it was a very good experience.Desert was complimentary since it was our anniversary and I thought that was nice. very very good experienceand we will be coming back soon!

Service was awful. Maybe 20 people there and it took over two hours to get our food. Im sorry but when a table of 10 spends almost 600 dollars to eat there I should feel my presence is welcome every second. Waitress did not suggest anything and gave a typical answer you of yea thats a good choice. Biscuits were terrible for the price and were hard. Would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be going back.
