Some of the worst food Ive ever had.Its rare I cant finish food. The pictures say it all.My Sister lives locally and always thought to try this place. Where do I begin.Waited over 30mins for my food.Buffalo wings were drenched absolutely soaked in sauce, it was sickening.Mac and cheese was straight from a microwave(I saw it through the kitchen), tasted like it had come from the frozen Isle of a supermarket.Milkshake was OK and priced well.Paid £11.80, easily one of the worse places Ive ever eaten at.
Great place, with great vibes! Food was amazing, I would highly recommend the garlic chilli fries!! I had the American double beef burger, didn’t taste as fancy as it looks or sounds but still OK. It was a very quick service, I’m wondering whether it was fresh or not lol but either way it was all decent.
When I want to have a burger that hits the spot, I go to Fat Boyz on Barking Road. It is around the corner from the old West Ham Football ground. Plenty of parking nearby. By train, it is a 5 minute walk from Upton Park Station it is a 5 minute walk. The premium burger is the one. This is the best gourmet burger I have ever had (and I have had some burgers, lol). They do lots of different types of chips and they sell original soft drinks (hooray).Halal restaurant in East London serving gourmet food. You MUST try this place.Proper food for proper foodies”Salim Patel
I dont know where to start... The premium burger here is DEFINITELY the best burger you will EVER eat. The taste and flavours were something Ive never experienced in a burger. The presentation was beautiful. The staff were amazing, so polite, kind and down for a laugh... My only complaint is that theyre so far from where i live 😭😭😭😭 these burgers are genuinely the best Ive ever had. The mocktails were so tasty too. 100/10 would recommend to everyone.(The red burger in the pictures below is the premium burger)
Fatboyz diner was really satisfying for me, the kids and the mrs. The beef burger had a very good quality patty and was cooked to perfection. The chicken burger had a deliciously moist peice of grilled chicken with onion rings which went down like a treat. The kids demolished there cheese buger meals, the mocktails genuinly surprised me as they were soooo good, the milkshake was too good for its price and o yeah, their home made sause left wanting ask for a takeaway pot. All of that, at a very resonable price, would highly recommend. U wont be dissapointed.
Went with my GF on a quiet Monday evening. Friendly and polite staff in a welcoming atmosphere. Food is A class! Hot and fresh. Reasonably priced. If you love American food you must visit Fat Boyz Diner!
Excellent food. Not a huge menu, but still a very good choice of food. Definitely very fresh, and cooked to order. Had the premium burger, Aberdeen Angus beef, definitely one of the best I have had. Highly recommended.
Wife’s favourite burger place. Service and food both are consistently amazing. 👏👏
Ive only ever ordered for delivery from here because of covid etc.I was pleasantly surprised at how well the burger was done. Fries were decent too.I wish it wasnt so expensive so I order/come here more often. But overall good burger placeUpdate: Was 4 stars, upgraded to 5 after dine in food. Quality food and service.
Burgers are great and the fully loaded chips are amazing!!!! When they first opened i used to live nearby but now drive 7miles (20mins) to pick up takeaway. They wrap the takeaway box in foil to keep it warm so by the time Im home its still warm.Only down side is price. For an eat in price is on par with competitors however for a family takeaway its pricey. They could maybe offer family deals?
I had two sides it was nice and I liked their variety of sides and I had waffle fries for the first time. Unfortunately the milkshakes were unavailable and for the cheesy fries the cheese underneath was not melted still. I would have liked more vegetarian options e.g veg burger or dog but overall my dishes were enjoyable and my friends mains looked good. The staff were friendly as well and even put the football on for us.
I visited yesterday and the food wasnt good. I ate a hot dog and I am pretty sure they put the bun before in the microwave because after 3 min its started to be hard and impossible to bite nicely. The meat was blind and white. Just rehated frozen food. The staff was nice but maybe they know the food is bad and they have to compensate. Never go back again and truly not recomended. Please dont waste your money and time.
Customer service - 4/5Ease of booking table - 5/5Seating availablity - 4/5Time taken to order food - 5/5Time taken for food to arrive - 5/5Food - 5/5Price - 5/5Recommend? Yes.For a family of 11 including 4 children, we spent £100 which is reasonable. Their food was really delicious especially their gourmet burger. Highly recommend visiting this place and we will be coming back soon.
We had high expectations. The food wasnt terrible but definitely plenty of room for improvement when it comes to delivery on flavours. However, very good customer service, they really care what you think and want to know how they can improve.
Yummy Burger and big portion of fries.Staff are so friendly. Really enjoyed our time.
Decor was decent and very clean. The service we received was very good and the food was also on point with portions of chips being quite large! Very well priced i think my meal came upto £10! Only reason why i gave a 4* was because they only take cash and the shop was freezing so the food went cold after 5 minutes!! Apart from that i will defo be back but for a takeaway instead 😬👍🏽
This is the best burger place in East London and I’m not even exaggerating! I always go for the American Double XXL, this huge burger is very juicy and is only £10. If you try this burger then I won’t recommend you to get fries as it will be hard to finish everything, also their fries are not very tasty so I don’t recommend it.
Awesome place to have dinners.. try their premium burgers..
I’ve been to Fat boys diner a few times over the years and they have consistently served good food. The burgers are nice and moist and full of flavour. They have myriad of different chips options, my favourite so far is the garlic chilli chips. The portion sizes are perfect and leave me not wanting for more.I’ve been to many other gourmet burger places and for me, I think this is the best in the east when considering price, taste and overall service.Keep up the good work team! :)
The last time I ate here it only had been open for a week and I thought it had potential. I found myself around the area and a bit peckish so decided to pop in.There have definitely been improvements. I ordered the American, which is basically a cheeseburger and it only costs £5. The taste of the beef was really good and I loved the sweetness from the onions and the bun. A simple but really well-cooked burger. The beef was cooked on a flat plate grill so it kept the juices there and really enhanced the flavours.I enjoyed it so much, I ordered another! That’s a firstAt only £5, pound for pound, it could be one of the best and most enjoyable burgers I’ve had. I
Absolutely love ordering from this place. Love the customer service I get as staff are generally very happy, friendly and good at recommending. Food is also very filling and yummy I would recommend you try the buttermilk burger!!
Food was absolutely brilliant. Staff was very friendly. Especially the one in the maxi dress. Defo cumin again
I requested a medium rare American burger. It was tasty and succulent, only caveat being that the brioche bun was cold.Steak chips were not nice and tasted undercooked. Cheesy fries was meh. Cajun fries were very nice (I highly recommend this over any other chips from Fat Boyz)Burger (double) cost £7 and chips roughly cost around £3-£4.50, so wasnt cheap, but wasnt particularly expensive either.Service was fine and atmosphere was also good.Overall rating: 7/10
THE BEST BURGER PLACE IS EAST LONDON without a doubt. Amazing service and Welcoming staff. Go for American Double if you like beef.
Loved this place. The staff was so so friendly, and the service was quick. The food is great, very generous with the portion sizes and the pizza fries were like nothing Ive had before. The Fatboy was good, massive so Id recommend being hungry if you want to order it (although you can just take home whatever you dont finish). It felt a tiny bit dry, but I suppose its normal with so much fried meat, so recommend having a drink on hand. The drinks are also good - lemonade is very sweet so it might not be for everyone (I loved it though); the mojito mocktail is a good alternative for something less sweet but still tasty.
So the food.... the chicken fillet burger was amazing, a nice spicy kick in a brioche bun so highly recommend it. The burgers in general were really good and worth a try for sure. The sides were really good, different types of chips including steak, skinny and sweet potato, mac’n’cheese and onion rings.
Bought the warm cookie dough in classic choc chip, with vanilla ice cream. The cookie dough itself was decent and about what youd expect, however the ice cream served on top of it was heavily crystallised and hard. It was extremely difficult to enjoy the combination of flavours when the texture of the ice cream was so off-putting and difficult to scoop. I ended up leaving most of it and just having the warm cookie dough. Overall, I paid £5 for something quite underwhelming. I think its very overpriced for what little you get and the quality, and I did not have the best experience here. Not sure I would return, and if I do I will not be ordering this again.
I came here for my birthday meal and OMG I was blown away. The quality of the food is beyond me. I was skeptical to come to a burger joint as I have had bad experience in the past of them either being the same or not up to my level but FATBOYZ wasnt a let down! Their portion size is massive so make sure you order sensibly so you dont waste food lol I cant wait to go back!
Ive ordered the hot dog and a dirty dog, freshly cooked and very tasty and its not the first time or the last time Im having it.. one thing I must say very consistent on service and portion... try it youll like it..
I chose the classic burger here and it was extremely tasty, sometimes simple is best. The husband chose a chicken burger with coleslaw which he really enjoyed as it was different. The portions of the sides were humongous we actually had to take it away. This deal was extremely worth it using a groupon.
I waited 2 and a half hours for the order to arrive and then it got cancelled… what a shame! I really liked the food but after this experience I will never order again!😫
Worst experience I ever had with ordering food at this restaurant. I placed my order at 7 pm and after waiting for 2 hours, the order got cancelled. I do not recommend! 😐
The chicken burger is amazing. Been going here since it opened few years back. Nice to sit in but more often collection which is always on time. Moved form the area but hoping to go back for a visit, the burger was that good!!!
If I could rate this minus I would. The food is dirty and the service is slow. They weren’t wearing face mask or hair nets. PLEASE STAY AWAY FOR THR SAFETY OF YOUR TASTE BUDS.
We ordered dinner tonight from this place which was on Uber Eats and had decent reviews. I want to support local business but unfortunately this was the worst takeaway we have ever had. The chips was soggy, cold and tasteless. The burgers were just horrible - full of liquid sauces and tons of onion, soggy bread, everything was just one big damp mush falling apart. It was so bad that we couldnt eat much of it. On the order we said no disposables but we still got plastic forks and sauces on top of the tons of packaging which was used for the food, which is just not sustainable. It is not even cheap for what it is - you can get much nicer burger and chips for this price. Very disappointing and wont be ordering ever again.
Would recommend* American themed diner which actuallydelivers.* Great variety of tasteful food on the menu* Service comes with a smile, which most places often don’t have.* Space is limited can often be crowded* Food can sometimes be rushed, giving a ‘quantity over quality’ vibe.*Not the cheapest but instead a more than what most customers would pay for
Today was my first time going there and I must say I loved it. The design of the shop was lovely, it really brought out the American theme they were going for. And the food was delicious!! I ordered the American double burger, skinny fries and 7up and it was so freaking tasty and pretty big too 😭💖 Nice and friendly atmosphere too👌🏽
Food and customer service is top notch 👌🏾
Nice food and friendly staff.
Visited Fatboyz diner on a Sunday. Fairly quiet. Customer service was great and attentive. It was mix between a takeaway and sit down. On weekends they offer the premium burgers were meat is acquired from Hillfarm. We ordered the Premium beef burger, spicy chick, garlic chips and two strawberry mint lemonades. Both burgers were really good, especially the premium burger with its bright red bun. It was super soft and was juicy. The garlic fries were really nice, haven’t tasted anything similar elsewhere. The drinks were tasty and a good alternative to mocktails. Our meal cost us £26, slightly overpriced for east london and technically a takeaway but good food nevertheless.Would highly recommend.
Great food and great service. Enjoyed the cheese steak sub and the loaded fries. The bbq wings were good. Price very reasonable only down side is the lack of parking in the area. Best to visit after 6.30pm.
Food was good however the customer service was appalling. I went to Fatboyz to meet friends, however I wasnt going to sit and eat. Instead I wanted takeaway for myself and the missus. So I telephoned the restaurant to order my takeaway. I was told to wait a few minutes because they were busy. I waited and waited, it got to more than 5 minutes before I hanged up! I can wait a few minutes but not longer than 5 minutes and be forgotten about. So I hanged up and made my way to the restaurant to order in person and see my friends. When i arrived an English/European lady took my order over the counter. She said my food will take 15 minutes before its ready. She looked so zoned out and didnt look like she was with it. I was going to pay with card but unfortunately they did not accept card. There was another gentleman in the back who confirmed the same and appeared to be the business owner.I asked how long they had been running for and they dont accept card? At which point he, the business owner replied; for over a year in a disgruntled manner. So I paid in cash. I repeatedly said to the lady and the gentleman that although I will sit down with my friends who are already eating I will be taking my food home as takeaway.Almost 30 minutes had passed and I was still waiting for my food. I got up to ask how long it will be. The lady pulled my food out from under the counter. I asked why I was not called when my food was ready? The gentleman said oh I thought you were sitting down. I couldnt understand what he meant or what he was implying... as far as Im concerned my food was ready long time ago and even after telling them that its take away neither the woman or the man behind the counter decided to call me. So upon checking my order I realised a burger was missing. I asked the lady where the burger I had ordered was? She was quick to tell me I had not ordered it!!? I was so annoyed. It explains why she was not paying attention when she took my order and Ive had to wait even longer for my food whilst it gets cold. The chef at the back saw how frustrated and angry I was and reassured me my gormet burger will be ready in 3 minutes. So I waited and it was ready pretty quickly. As a good will gesture the chef offered me a free drink which was nice of him.Sorry but this is my first experience at this outlet and it was a very good experience. Props to the chef though he saw my concern from a mile off. Sorry this deserves a 1 star rating. I may change it in the future if I visit again.
Food was decent. Staff were polite
Amazing food and amazing customer service. Always been taken care of
Absolutely amazing quality of food and service! 20/10
First time ordering . Burger was great . Highly recommended .
Nice staff good service and good food
Very friendly staff, generous portion, will recommend to friends and family
It’s was okay not worth the hype
Service was 10/10. Food was tooo good. Soo filling
The burgers were really nice. We order the buffalo chick and the American. The bun was fresh and the meat was well done; it was simple and delicious. The milkshake was a bit too sweet for my liking. I think the place was over advertised as the IT BURGER JOINT were as it looked more like a takeaway restaurant with seatings. They are quite reasonably priced.
Great quality, delicious fresh food, decent portions, friendly staff. Love it.
No complaints whatsoever! First time going there and the owner Mohammed was so polite and welcoming! The restaurant was clean, menu was simple to understand and plenty of choice. I went for the hot dog with skinny fries, whilst my missus chose a burger with chilli garlic fries. Everything was perfect! The portion of fries was tooooo generous but I guess it matched the Fatboyz theme, the garlic fries were amazing! Her burger was juicy asf! Ordered a Oreo milkshake to takeaway, not the best but good attempt. Atmosphere was great too and music playing brought back some memories...Staff were so great and friendly! Overall really good joint will Defo be back soon!
Excellent food and service!
I had the opportunity to test out the double American burger must say it was juicy as it gets. Tasty. Nice chips. Nice staff aswell. Will definitely come back and try something different.
Came here for the burgers which were good but was blown away by the dirty chips they were incredible. The gentleman were very friendly and helpful provided warm service and good banter. Have returned for the dirty chips and they were just as good as the first time.
Found this gem on Instagram and had to visit on my trips to London from South Africa 🇿🇦 --- Amazing quality and the staff are super welcoming! Now that I have moved to the UK permanently, this is definitely my go to burger place!
Great new place opened right next to the crusty Boleyn Cinema. The place is situated on a main road, parking can be difficult in the day however in the evening after 6.30pm plenty of places to park close by. The food was excellent and prices were great for what nice portions. I ordered a 6oz burger, cheesy fries and a coke for £10. One of my colleagues had the pizza fries which he said was immense. Negative factors were: the restaurant was super cold, there was a electrical heater but wasnt doing much work as the inside of the venue was the same temperature as outside at 2 degrees. In general good food nice setting and staff were nice also.
Wow I never HAD a burger this deliciousThey do most of their food AMERICAN style and god they are great..They have hotdogs many ways
It was highly recommended from my family we got some take out and the owner was a really nice down to earth guy; excellent service! Great food! The Premium burger was delicious!! 😋
Honestly I cant express enough, the food was absolutely amazing and the service the brothers offered us yesterday was just spectacular. Free shakes on the house too😎!!Highly recommendable to everyone, worth the prices definitely.DEFINITELY WILL COME AGAIN 🤗😇THANK YOU BROTHERS
We were served by brother Hassan and his team. AMAZING service.. super quick and the food was absolutely smashing.. Best we have had in East London in ages.. Highly Recommended!!!
Went for a late lunch with a friend, had a good selection and not too pricey. We were served quite quickly and didnt have to wait long for the food to arrive. Portion sizes were good; the burgers itself were delicious and filling. We ordered milkshakes and was surprisingly quite tasty, which we didnt expect. The diner itself is a bit small, but has a good atmosphere. Would definitely go again
The flavours are banging...the service is top notch and the delivery is exceptionally fast
Enjoyed my time at Fat boyz. Were greeted my an upbeat energised assistant. Great selection of food. Caring and attentive assistants, scrumptious food. Will return x
Definitely recommend this place. Staff are so nice and friendly. Food is very tasty 😋 and very big portions.
Went there recently, really enjoyed the American burger (the meat was good!) and the Mac & cheese. Portions are of good size and the brother serving us brought good vibes! Will be back there again for sure.
Food was great, really filling. Unique sauce they have is really good. The customer service there is very friendly, you can joke around with them and have a good time while eating.
Fat Boyz changes the game of fast food. Ive been getting deliveries from here for the past year and they have never let me down. The bbq boneless bites are particularly good! I am moving away and one of the hardest parts about leaving East London is not being within delivery distance of Fat Boyz. Cheers for all the food.
Had a lovely experience being served by Hassan. He was very welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend, great prices too!
Got a takeaway order from this place... the food was decent but the presentation was awful my burger fillings were all coming out the burger, couldnt hold it properly.
Great food! Their beef burgers (The American, the Champ etc.) and Shakes are legendary. We mostly eat in but sometimes they are nice and deliver to our IG11 address too. Great food, great guys, great local business. Highly recommended. 5*
