My husband, who loves sweets and has been a lot of dessert places, says yalls cupcake was the best he has ever had. He just had a basic chocolate with white icing and a birthday party.Needless to say, you will be seeing us soon.

I began communication on Monday this week about a cake needed for my husbands 40th birthday this Friday. She told me I had to put a request online so I did so. Called Tuesday, was told the baker would call me, nothing. Called Wednesday was told absolutely we can make that cake the baker will call you in 2 hours, no call. It is now Thursday, husbands birthday is tomorrow and never heard from them. I had to go to another location and LUCKILY they were able to step up and make it happen. We will not be customers of this location anymore.

The girl working today 5/16/21 at 530PM has a nasty attitude and literally lied about not having the cupcakes and I was look right at them. Hire a better staff.

Very disappointed! I try to support small businesses in our area.. needed to order cupcakes for a little outdoor party..called Thursday morning for a Saturday pickup.. was told I had to order online..went on line..website unfriendly to use..went up to the store..told the sweet girl what I was needing..she informs me she needs to call the owner to see if they can do it... comes back and says..ok what flavors would you like.. I tell her.. I’m also ordering a small cake.. “would you like Happy Birthday on the cake” surprised they could do that.. but yes how cute! I’m thinking we are done.. then she said the owner is calling... ? Comes back and said we are all full for orders this weekend...? What? This is Thursday morning... pickup on Saturday... I had now spent to much time on this..to be told..no! Had to go to Sugar Land.. no problem will pickup from them on Saturday... so sad!

The cupcakes may draw you in, but her hospitality will keep you coming back for more. You think your going in to get a delectable array of sweets, but honestly you leave knowing you can trust the new and improved Small Cakes (Missouri city) to do a spectacular job from a party of one to some of the largest gatherings . My daughter celebrated her 6th birthday last Sunday and it was a great success. The owner and the manager was able to accommodate us and made it all happen for my daughters birthday. The workers were very attentive and helpful. The cupcakes and ice cream is so yummy! Thank you Small cake for everything!Great place and great management. I highly recommend this awesome place.

They have a sign in the window that says baked fresh everyday. The cake and cookies I bought were not fresh. They tasted like Walmarts bake goods. Im not happy with my purchase.

Delicious cupcakes at a reasonable price! Great place to stop if you have to bring dessert to a friends house! They have a variety of cupcakes with delicious icing! The young lady that was working was very helpful and even gave suggestions on what cupcakes she liked. They even offer ice cream selections if you would like to stay and have dessert in the shop. The cupcakes were really good and my favorite had to be cookies and cream while my husband loved the German chocolate one! I will definitely visit this place again!

The gluten free cupcakes were not that tasty. They were so tiny. Smaller than a mini. $3 for gf that is just one pop in your mouth. And you have to order at least 6 if you want gf. Not worth the money. Lots of other places to choose from. It was just close to home and quick. But I gave it 3 stars since some of the other ones were good.

Always a quick trip and the staff are always polite. The owner is ever-present and very welcoming. Great selection of consistently delicious cupcakes. Over 20 flavors with featured flavor changes made regularly. Theyve got a lot of little deals that could help save you some money. I stop here whenever I need to impress or bribe a group of people and it never fails.

Excellent service! My husband and I stopped in on a whim on June 21st and found that they had been on Cupcake Wars on The Food Network two times. They had won both times so that piqued my interest because I watch that show a lot!! We pick a selection of a dozen different flavors for us as well as my husbands work place. We were so pleased! The cakes were moist and so flavorful, the frostings were sweet but not overly sweet and the young man assisting us was so helpful, knowledgeable, nice and so funny that he made the whole experience worthwhile! The store was clean and smelled just like a bakery should. We will definitely be back!! Thank goodness we live quite a few miles from them because Small Cakes would definitely be a problem with our waistlines!!!! Good job Small Cakes, you certainly left a great impression on our minds!!!

I have not tried them all yet but I plan to. The chocoholic is so far my favorite as its delicious cake and butter cream icing take me home to my childhood. I love the amount of icing too. They dont skimp as other cupcake places around town do. Im so happy to have finally found a great cupcake bakery in the Houston area. A must try.

Yummy. We enjoyed a number of cupcakes among all of us. I love the yellow with chocolate icing. Very moist & fresh. Not a drop left. Kids enjoy video games in the back. Even board games for the whole group.

Just recently opened. Nice and clean.The chocolate-cake are soft and melt in your mouth. Caramel iced a great. Large variety of toppings that rotate over time. Great, friendly customer service. Thanks guys. Best of luck!

I have been a loyal customer since the day it has been open :-)! This place has the most delicious and fresh cupcakes with variety flavors and unusual combination of flavors also using real fruit that you cannot buy it at any grocery or Bakery places:-)! They sell variety different type of cupcakes everyday it is not the same all the time :-)! So, the great thing about this place you can get points by joining the membership for free every time you buy a cupcake you get points as soon as you reach that number of purchases you will get a cupcake for free after you get a free cupcake then it will start all over again and regenerate the points so you can get another free cupcake :-)! Why I also love about this place the more cupcakes you buy they put it in the hot pink box where you will not get your car dirty or yourself it will not drop out of your hands or roll all over the car with the frosting at least it will be safe and secure in the Box plus they give you a Fork to eat with if you ask for one:-)! You can enjoy this place and eat it inside of there and eat as many cupcakes as you want with different flavors while you can also have a gathering or birthday party or even playing your computer games or board games or read your newspaper or a book while you enjoying your cupcakes! They have free parking and you can bring your kids or grandparents or friends and they also have handicap parking:-)! And if you like smoothie you should go by Next Door since its been hot in the summer to enjoy any flavor at Smoothie King :-)! Or you could eat at Chipotle and then after that have dessert at Smallcakes the owner is very friendly and so are the other employees and very helpful :-)! Or you could have special orders of any flavors and combinations of cupcakes and they can make it fresh for you if you give them a call for Advanced orders:-)! I do have to say this it is pricey for that size of cupcake I think they should lower the price down or either make the cupcake much bigger for that price it should be jumbo size:-( :-)! I think they should sell a variety of drinks for you to enjoy a long with your cupcakes:-)! I am so glad you could pay it either cash or credit card :-)! I never get tired of the delicious moist and fresh cupcakes:-)! Tried so many flavors - none of them are good

Flavors are a little lack luster, but it was a decent treat. The cake itself doesnt have much flavor. Kids were happy though

These are cupcakes made at the hands of artisans! Made fresh daily, as well as homemade ice cream. Each one is a work of art! The staff are friendly and the store is very clean. There also is a back room with games, both board and console-style. Definitely a culinary treat!

Just tried the place today and the cookies are delicious. Chewy and soft. Im glad that I dont live close to this place because it would not be good for my health. Everything is baked daily, so you will be getting fresh desserts. Try it out.

This is one place that I can really say I like. The worker is always nice. Plus they let my son stay and play for a long time. Which was nice.

Really good cupcakes. The cake part is pretty moist and I love all the frostings that dont include cream cheese! Thats just a personal thing. My sister did say there was a bit too much frosting and that the frosting was cloyingly sweet, but obviously there is something wrong with her! Our favorites are the vanilla and coconut! The chocolate sunday is also amazing and the wedding cake is yum! Well keep trying every flavor...so far so good!

The human cupcakes (keep reading) are sufficient and if I am completely honest, they are decent. Memorable? meh.I chose the wedding cake and red velvet cupcakes and as mentioned earlier, they are decent. The wedding cake has an amaretto flavored icing and I believe it is a little heavy handed on the amaretto. The red velvet is prone to drying out as they all are so, eat it quickly.Believe it or not, I came to this location for doggie cupcakes for my dogs birthday. In Pearland, their location gives you like 6 for like $4 and they are almost $3 (if I remember correctly) PER cupcake here. The clerk explained that the franchiser in Pearland is not the franchiser at this location. My dog was not amused. Neither was her owner.

Cake parts were good. Nice and moist. Frosting was good, but garnishes (pretzel on top, marshmallows ) were stale. For 50 cents more i could have twice as much frosting by going to GiGis cupcakes. Overall cupcakes were good though.

The new management is awful and treats their employees badly, paying below minimum wage and cutting hours making harder to make ends meet. They also treat family and friends of employees (paying customers) badly as well. It is understandable to ask for your employees to not have visitors, but openly badmouthing customers is in poor taste and in my opinion unacceptable, and will no longer be giving them my service. (For the record I witnessed this firsthand last night and talked to the young lady)

The cup cakes were very delicious. Unfortunately there was one particular employee who ruined my entire experience. I have been many times and I have recommended a few friends as well as family members. I was also told by a friend that they were also treated rudely. I hate I will not be back.

Lackluster. We visited a few weeks ago following a visit of the Spring location. Comparatively speaking, I was not impressed. The representative was very dry and robotic. The shop itself looked empty without chairs/decor and showed signs of wear. I couldnt tell if they were preparing for renovations or what, but there were no signs indicating this was the case. Cupcakes were decent, but the selection of flavors wasnt anything special.In response: We visited Saturday, October 13th around 3pm. The shop has a more of a bar feel rather than a cupcake boutique feel, if that helps.

They have tasty cupcakes but when I asked for a custom cupcake cake for a birthday 3 days before it was needed, there were several communications breakdowns. They couldnt figure out the design and bailed on me. Luckily I hadnt paid any in advance. They need to improve that part of their business. The Baker works for two different bakeries and must make the cupcakes offsite. They use premixed ingredients, which is ok until you have someone with gluten or other sensitivity.

I just stopped in to the one in Missouri City. The little girl behind the counter was the nicest little thing! Very lnowledgeable. Introduced me to the new watermelon cupcake and OMG!! I also waited around for the new Shirley Temple cupcake and looking forward to trying that one later..

Well, to start, I love smallcakes cupcakes. In fact, I love them so much that I was having a hankering for some at approximately 8:15 pm, and of course I thought theyd be open because everyone has those late night hankerings. I pull up to find out that the lights were off. I was heartbroken. The only reason I am rating this establishment 3 stars is because they close at an unreasonable time. How can hankerings possibly be satisfied if they are closed? I wouldve rated 5 stars. Its a shame. The cupcakes are perfectly moist and all of the flavors are delishiously delectable. I highly reccomend this place for events or even just to satisfy a hankering for a good cupcake.

Well I have only ONE Complaint, that is they never make enought of #1 selling Wedding Cake Cupcakes!!For instance today I called at 2:50pm on Oct 9, 2017 and theyre OUT, but you have 5hours of business remaining til close. OMG!I wouldnt be so disappointed but this is always the situation at the Missouri location, and I live 20miles away.No I dont want any other flavor, and I have call in advance to place a order, an they re OUT!!Unfortunately they just dont make enought to take them to the end of business, and for me thats not managing your product to be available for your CONSUMER!My suggestion is having your baker come in twice a day to bake as necessary if you see your #1 selling cupcakes need to be replenish.Thank youYour Wedding Cake Lover

I ordered cupcakes from this place through doordash. Doordash was late picking up order and smallcakes called to let me know as well as called doordash. They were very concerned about their customers! I thought highly of that. Doordash FINALLY got to my house with the cupcakes (which I ordered 6 pack assorted). I tried the red velvet and OMG.... MELT IN YOUR MOUTH DELICIOUS!!! Im such a Crave fan and Im telling you these are right there if not better!!! The cupcakes are moist and decadent and the icing is delicious! Will definitely be eating and ordering from here again!!
