Weve been going here since I was a kid. Dr. Richey is so nice! His staff is great, too. The office is nice, never too busy, and in a great location. Hes great with our kids as well. Theyre very professional and the scheduling is well organized.

The Advanced Family Eye Care team were pleasant, professional, and very helpful. The office is clean, airy, and bright. Dr. Richey is warm and knowledgeable and immediately makes you feel at ease. They take their time to thoroughly address your eye care needs. Their showroom hosts top of the line designer frames in various styles. Their prices are a bit higher, but the quality is unmatched.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. I had almost not wait time, I did not have an appointment. They adjusted my glasses quickly and I was out the door.

I was told that they were not in the network of my insurance while starting the exam, even though I’d provided them my insurance info two days ago. So, I canceled the exam.

It was my first time coming to this office I had an amazing experience staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Definitely will be recommending them to my family and friends.

I have been going to Dr. Richey since 2005 for annual checkups and a couple of torn retina’s. He is fantastic. He and his staff get you in and out on time after a very thorough evaluation. I moved 42 miles away 5 years ago and still go Advanced Eye Care because of Dr. Richey and his staff. The surgeon he recommended to repair my torn retinas was also excellent.

I was hesitant to visit any Doctors office because of Covid 19, but I was very comfortable with the way the office handled the appointment. Everything was clean, everyone was Masked and I had no worries. They go by appointments and I was the only one in office for a bit. I saw one other patient at a long distance, but I Highly Recommend Advanced Family Eye for anyone needing a Check up or whatever the need. They do have Beautiful Eyewear, also. Check them out. Oh, and the People there are so Sweet and Helpful.

I want to start out and say this, I had called around to 2 or 3 other eye care clinics in the Sugar Land/Missouri City area and they would not take my appointment. I called in, the young lady at the front desk was extremely helpful, she verified my insurance and even offered me a same day appointment.The entire exam process was very easy, Monica was great she was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Monica understood that my eyes had not been checked in quite sometime and made sure I understood everything that was going on. Dr. Richey, was awesome! I thought I had an issue with just my near vision, but he also discovered that I have an issue with my distant vision as well.The staff at Advanced Family Eye Care was awesome!! If Google allowed 10 stars I would give them 20! They will get all of my referrals for family and friends with eye vision needs!

I have gone here for years and my husband just starting going in the last 2 years. But what really got me is that I took my 4 year old daughter here and they were wonderful! Very patient, explained everything they were going to do, made it very easy and excited about her new glasses! I highly recommend this place!

Our entire family will now be coming to this practice. I have been going to this Optometrist for over 10 years. He is very personable and his staff are professional, warm and efficient. I got a COMPLETE exam today and tried on multiple frames, placed my order and checked out in less than an hour. A few years ago I had a problem with my left eye not closing with the same speed as the right. The doctor said that this was not his area of expertise, but the eye problem and the accompanying headaches might be shingles. He called my general practitioner and he told me to come directly there and he was right! Thanks to the doctor and his staff for always taking good care of me.

My 8 year old daughter was beginning to have difficulty seeing things clearly which was a sign she might need glasses or contacts.We had an easy time scheduling an appointment with Dr Richey and no wait for our appointment. Dr Richey was great with my daughter and she felt at ease. Sylvia was also there helping with everything during and after the exam. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Richie’s since 2005. He’s an excellent Optimist. He has a great selection of eyewear and great staff.

The only reason Im giving one star is because you have to. Dr. Richey was as efficient as a normal optometrist would be. The doctor was not where I encountered the problem, but the issue is with his operations. I am 100% positive he is aware. I was charged $105 for an contact eye. A REGULAR contact exam people. Please be aware when dealing with this office. The setting is beautiful but the same optometry trickery is every present. NEVER NEVER have I paid such a ridiculous amount for a eye exam in my 41 years. I was going to order my glasses from the office until the tech told me that they only had one of the discounted brands available that VSP insurance offered. The most ridiculous lie I have ever heard, being that I was a literate person. I review a couple of the brands before I got out of my car but I couldnt remember exactly what they were. I did remember that it was more than one common name brand. I also told the tech I did not want my eyes to be dilated. I knew I didnt need dilation and it was pointless to pay for this at my age and health history. They did it anyway in the form of a retinal scan and my $10 copay was told to me as a $40 copay. Without the detail that you paying for a retinal scan by choice and out of pocket. If I choose to pay for something thats one thing but to hide a fee that was suppose to be optional is just some good ole fashion BAIT and SWITCH. I would be mindful about the fees with this office and a basic observation of the surroundings should have SCREAMED at me. There we 4 techs and one doctor, somebodies has to pay for all of the extravagance. It will be you if you choose to patronize this doctors establishment.

Advanced Eyecare has provided great service for our family. From accommodating urgent visits for kids to our normal eye checks, they always do a great job. I just had my annual eye exam and they were prompt and informative as always.
