Not everything at Harbor Freight is worth buying, you have to be careful what you buy here. I just purchased a 5 drawer mechanics cart. Its solid. Nothing flimsy about it. Assembly requires some patience, especially if youre on your own. But it IS do-able on your own. For $249 its a great buy. (And the color selection is fantastic! I went with near-neon-green!).

Cant complain about harbor freight.Some of the tools I buy are cheaper here. Its hard to justify paying more for basically the same thing at other store.Easy access. Parking space. Staff is always very polite. The store is clean.

Love this store. I literally shop every isle just in case I miss something. The price for tools is outstanding. I understand they have some pretty cheap tools as well but you get what you pay for. Wish I didnt have to drive to Missoula every time I wanted to visit the store. Would highly recommend.

We got a great deal on a power auger here not long ago. It was out by the front of the store and way, way marked down. The manager himself explained that he knew it would find a good home if he left it out for sale.Well this used to be a great review but the store has apparently become a little awkward since this earlier thing happened. Not a great atmosphere in this place - I know this from watching 2 or 3 employees plus the manager wandering around looking annoyed with one very obviously unhappy guy running a single register with 4 people in line.I was about to spend around $200 or so, which got downgraded to $80, then $7.99, then $0 all from standing around waiting and watching the terrible vibe going on.Anyway, hi five on the soap opera but no tool store points awarded

Use to be a great place to get good deals on tools and stuff for a do it yourselfer, not so anymore the only deals are for those that want to pay a outrageous membership fee wont be shopping there anymore.

Employees at this store are helpful with finding items and making suggestions. Inventory is generally there, sales are good, and the quality is okay if you are buying Chinese to get you by.

They have the best customer service and excellent prices. I do my homework and check prices before I shop. Theirs is the best. Now I know why my son-in-law uses them as a building contractor.

When your personal feelings about the horror called china ebbs enough to buy their products, bring a trailer down to Harbor Freight cuz youll find that many awesome deals on disposable tools!

Really friendly and helpful courteous employees. The store on Reserve Street and Mullen Rd has a very wide variety of just about any tool or device a fella or gal might need from Construction to Mechanical. The prices are very good for the consumer and they stand behind any rightful claim of poor performance or malfunction with replacement. Ive been going there a little to much or so says the wife. This store entrance is right on the corner in the shopping center. It can be accessed from Reserve St, Mullen Road & Great Northen Ave.Lots of parking out front and handicap friendly. Store very well organized and lots of displays. See something you like and to big to carry or it the floor display take a ticket that is on that specific item close to the price and model tag. Go to register or floor person and it will be brought to register and most time helped carry to your vehicle.So there isnt any type of complaint from me about Harbor Freight of Missoula, Montana.Apologize for no photos with this critique, will ensure to get some next trip.

The stigma with Harbor Freight is they sell cheap stuff. I agree in the sense that their prices are almost always more affordable than any other stores with similar offerings. That being said, the cheapness I think is more relative to the quality of the products. But it isnt always the case. Pick and choose what items you buy, read reviews for the products, do your homework and I hardly think youll be disappointed. And I have to say, the staff at this store have always been friendly and helpful. The store is always well organized, orderly, and clean. If you know what you want theyll definitely help you find it and even arrange to get you loaded into your car.

Found just what we needed at Harbor Freight & for only $29.99. The employees were very helpful & friendly, even though a system wide failure had the computer system down. Everything had to be done manually. Made check out times a bit longer today because of having to hand right receipts for credit/debit cards. They still remained open & and told each customer as they came in. Nicely done Missoula Harbor Freight!! 👍👍

You can get some good deals if youre careful and really check out the product. They do sell some very cheap tools here that are good for the guy whos just fixing a few things now and then. I wouldnt call most of it high quality but it gets the job done. The car Dollys I bought have been very good and the price was great. Good selection and they send you coupons.

To my knowledge I have never given 5 stars before but this store truly deserved it I was there for probably 2 hours spent close to a $1000 I did not have any remorse whatsoever staff was competent helpful patients even though the place was a man house they took time to make sure the every customer felt special I will be going back there today I think these people are doing a great job I really do If youve never been or you need to re experience please try out the Missoula store is fantasticThat of course is my opinionThank you for listening

Staff is generally pretty great and as usual you get what you pay for with harbor freight. Located in a strip mall so loading large objects can be difficult. Also call the store ahead of time to make sure they have your item. We drove 75 miles to get a generator and they didnt have the one we needed even though it was marked in stock on the site. In the event this happens be aware that this is quite literally the only store in the country, even within harbor freight, that absolutely will not sell you the display model, which is ridiculous.

Oh Harbor Freight, how I love thee. The smell of cheap plastic and compressor oil, the vast variety of automotive tools, and the DEALS! My God, the deals!Seriously though its the best tool store. Pittsburgh pro is every bit is good as snap on, Im sorry. Gear separators, pullers, punches, all sorts of stuff you cant get anywhere else. Some of it is one time use, but hey its worth the price. Also the small engine stuff like pumps knock it out of the park. I have a $200 2 trash pump thats been run hard and put away wet at my construction firm for years, we cant kill it.I hope the tariffs dont interrupt our love affair...

I honestly dont often buy the cheap option when Im looking at tools but I have purchased many odds and ends here including a framing nailer which I am still using 3 years later. For select items it has huge value. For the average diyer Id imagine you can get whatever you need here.

Great prices on tools. Sure the tools are mediocre quality, but you could buy a set of 3 step bits for a little less than half the price of a really good quality single step bit... so who cares. When you break a wrench just buy another. I would not recommend buying cordless drills etc. here, as I have never seen those last for any significant length of time and replacement costs over time will significantly out price one good quality cordless tool.

You will pay a fraction of the cost for tools here but dont expect them to last very long if you need to use them often. If you need to buy a lot of tools, you should become a member of their insider club to get the best discounts.

Ive always wanted to check out Harbor Freight. Finally went in the other day for some nails and couldnt find any. Asked the clerk and was told they only carry the small photo hanging nails. It looked like they had a lot of cool stuff and Id like to check it out again, but was disappointed they didnt carry more of something as basic as nails.

So harbor freight is known to have mediocre tools. Several Ive purchased are more like a one time use tool. The metal bends/ breaks. The plastic parts are too flexible.But they are cheap and depending on your task may be just what you need.Every once in a while you find something amazing.Staff friendly.

Generally good store. Today my husband went in and bought some things he wanted b/c he bought an insider club membership. They hadnt switched the price tags and tje cashier wasnt knowledgeable. My husband went and got the price of an item and he was told they were still in the process of changing prices for the new month. So my husband didnt get any of the deals for his new membership b/c the store hadnt switched the prices yet. Shouldnt be a members problem if the store doesnt switch the prices. Membership is bull. Dont pay for it.

Its impossible to find help.Get on their mailing list, they always put a free item with any purchase. Ive collected many free flashlights and tarps from doing this.
