This store keeps items on the shelf that are no longer for sale - and theres no communication between staff. Our 4 yr old daughter was very excited and this was her first time to a Spirit Halloween. They only have 1 or 2 sizes in each girls costume, and when our daughter finally found one she liked that was on display? We were headed to the register when a women - who was very nice - stopped us and said she needed to find a bag for the costume that had the extras in it. She couldnt find it since someone else had put it in the back without explanation as to where. She took the dress and said she would call us once it was found. Initially we were notified that they couldnt find the package so they would let us have the dress free of charge. I thanked them and said we would be in this afternoon to get it. I later received a text stating that someone else had purchased it yesterday and they were giving it to her.Improve your team communication.Improve your inventory system.Dont leave items out that arent for sale.We will not be returning to this store - or another Spirit elsewhere.

Great store with an insane amount of options. Costumes, accessories, props and home decor. Prices are pretty reasonable too. The store always seems to be kept clean and tidy. The staff there have always been very friendly and helpful with ideas when I needed that one item but couldnt figure out what it might be. 🤔Props to the store and staffers for being so awesome. Give em a shot. You wont be disappointed.

Idk what some are referring to when it comes to there being options. This was the worst spirit I have ever been too. Parking was impossible and lot full of trash. Crowded with people running into you inside and out. Super small building. They had like no boy costumes all girls. 3 toddler costumes. Sizes were limited to like one option per costume.

My 14-year-olds have really enjoyed it we bought a staff for the play doctor costume that he designed. Its a cool place everybody should go by and check it out the price is really not that bad. Too much made in China stuff

Workers were really nice, though I got a choker from this place, and they charged me $10 and it fell apart when I removed it from the package. Also very limited on adult sizes, my mom couldnt find a costume because their plus sizes only consisted of 1X. Which was a little disappointing, since Halloween is supposed to be something everyone can celebrate, regardless of size.

My favorite fall shopping place. They really do have the best selection of costumes and Halloween decorations anywhere. I love how you can order online and pick up in store. So convenient. Its my one stop shop for all things halloween.

Store is awesome .. prices are astronomical idk how we outfit our kids and house here without a second mortgage but we managed. The staff is great always friendly. Seems clean and to be up with covid Evel cleaning and safety masks advised if not fully vax but not required it enforced. My sons favorite store we will be back

Check out the haunted ship they have going this year! (2019) Very fun and gave a few jumps! Great place for costumes, decorations and even a few household items!Employees were helpful and courteous and, while I only went in for one thing, I ended up spending an hour in the store and coming out with a few extra treasures!

I love spirit of Halloween 🎃 they help me every yr find a costume and even last minute help ideas. Even one yr my daughter couldn’t find a costume so a employee gave her costume she had at home to my daughter at no charge. They’ve always been great help w me n my kids making Halloween 👻 very memorable

I went into the Spirit Halloween store the other day and the sweetest lady, Michelle I believe, helped me out! She was so helpful and cheerful and really made my experience!

I love Spirit Halloween but they need to have more plus size options in the store. Other than that we have always dealt with friendly staff and they have always been helpful!

I tried to return tights that were to big, and they refused to let me even exchange them because the outside cellophane wasn’t on the package because it ripped upon opening, not to mention the lady was so rude to me and talked to me like I was a complete child, I would never go back because I felt so belittled by the staff. Ive always loved spirit but after my experience there I refuse to support them.

Went in with my 3yr old, my sister, her husband and two children ages 2 and 3. The lady took my 3 yr old nephew by the collar of his shirt and yelled at him for being excited while looking at the costumes. Then followed us across the store and physically ripped a sword from my 3yr olds hands.My children were not acting rambunctious. They were being watched by there parents and did not need a grown stranger to physically start an altercation with them. Place was truly a nightmare 😱

We really enjoy the store and got a lot of good items from there, however, my boyfriend was not able to get The Flash costume he wanted because for some reason they only carried a womans version..The Flash is a male so i dont see why they wouldnt have a male costume. I hope to see more costumes in both genders next year.

We had so much fun picking out costumes in here! The staff was super helpful assembling the perfect Harley Quinn and Joker for my husband and I. And the blond cashier was so sweet to our 7 year old and gave out spider rings and stickers when he scared himself with one of the try me buttons. Good selection of costumes for us and the kids and the grey haired woman found the perfect Batman for our little guy. Love seeing a store like this in Missoula every year.

With all the online shopping it is nice to have a store in town that offers killer selection and awesome customer service. I had an issue with a product not fitting right, totally not the stores fault, but they made it right and more immediately. Been shopping for my family here since 2011.FYI location is a great spot!

Good stuff for all ages

Its cool and everyones very nice but ZERO PLUS SIZE, NONE AT ALL. They had a extremely small selection of almost only size 16.

They keep limited stock and alot of the props and animated things they originally had are now only online. The signs in the store say 50% off and it does not hold true at the register. The cashier was not friendly at all. All around frustrating.

We got everything we needed and more! Service was wonderful. I understand the need to be cautious about people taking things. Although, of course not everyone does this, there is so much of it that store owners dont have a choice but to watch and be smart. They are losing so much money from theft that they have to raise their prices every year. It hurts all of us in the long run. Just smile when you see employees doing their job and watching you. It could keep prices down for all of us!I was treated okay. Employees werent joyful by any means, but they were very helpful. However, I saw a few customers being pretty rude to the employees as well. Rules are made to protect the merchandise people, so respect those who have to protect it please. Some customers act careless and have ripped outfits.Anyway, it goes both ways. If you want kindness, then give it.T.M.M.

Spirit Halloween is the best Halloween store around! They always have the best costume options and the owners are one of a kind. I dont shop anywhere else!

Aweful customers service, don’t support chain

The selection isnt horrible given that its brick and mortar, but realistically everything can be found online for much less. And the products SHOULD be much less since the quality is average to slightly below.

Great place to go for all your Halloween needs. They have everything from cheap goofy costumes to the very intricate. Tons of things.

The owner was super rude.. and i get it some people have rough days and she deals with a lot of people, but i came in twice and she was the same both times. Made me not want to buy anything from there. Ill just get stuff from party america or target.

Costumes have gotten ridiculously expensive, but that I can deal with. What I dont appreciate is being treated like an idiot by the staff. I bought some items for a costume yesterday that I didnt end up using. When I went to return them I was told they dont give refunds past Oct. 19th. I was frustrated but said okay I understand why they have that policy. As I got ready to leave I mentioned to the cashier that they should make sure people know their return policy before they purchase items if they are totally unable to and that even if its on the bottom of the receipt a lot of people might miss that. The young lady behind the counter was incredibly rude and told me people need to just pay attention to their receipts. Disappointed.

So my friend and I are currently at the store in Missoula and well we missed the deadline to return our costumes and thats okay so we went and found other items we wanted instead of the original costume and we are at the check out and the cashier was very rude and asked us to wait while she helped actual customers. Weve been waiting for 25 minutes to exchange costumes. Never coming back.

I loved this store the first time I went. However I had to bring back a few things because they didnt fit and my sons turtle costume didnt fit right. I was met with a VERY rude lady. Who told me there was a ton of dog hair on it. No there wasnt. She said I come from a house with no dog hair so this a lot. Then informed me I couldnt return any other things because she didnt want to do this anymore and its embarrassing to sell something with so much dog hair on it. THERE WAS NONE OLD LADY GET YOUR EYES CHECKED. My son didnt even wear it! She was insanely rude. We spent over 200 dollars there. Wont happen again. Talk to your employees in returns. She was aweful!!!!
