I drove out to the Dal Service showroom at the suggestion of my contractor. I was met outside the door by someone who cut me off immediately and refused to allow me come in. I had previously bought Dal tile I picked out there for my bathroom and was shown around and given nice personal service. This time it was just pretty much a Nope- please leave message. Disappointing! I recommend that you change your web site if you dont want any customers to be able to look at your tile styles to help make decisions for purchase of Dal tile. :(

I am a retired contractor and building inspector. I went into the store to find out about some of their installation materials. Because I dont currently have a contractors license they would not even talk to me. Ive purchased tile from Daltile for years and have always found the other stores helpful, not the one in Missoula.

Even if you can’t help me you can say it nicely. No need to be rude.

Contractor sent me to Daltile. Nice lady helped me try and match tile to my existing stuff. Let me take a couple of samples home to see if they match. Appreciate her help and suggestions.

The customer service for Daltile was extremely disappointing. I talked to Michael a manager in the Missoula office, who aggressively yelled at me on the telephone when I asked questions about a Daltile product. I was hoping to do business with a fellow Montana based company but will look elsewhere after this interaction.

Some of the worst service I have received. My uncles order shipped to him was incorrect so he asked me to go and pickup the correct materials locally as he needed them ASAP. I was ignored when I got there, had to ask for assistance, and then argued with when I tried to pick up the correct materials. Very unprofessional... to the point that I felt I should let the public know. Maybe they treat their contractors better.

Nice selection of tile but I didnt see anyone that could explain what the differences were. I think its more of a place for contractors not someone like me that doesnt know tile very well.
