I honestly have to say the automotive Clinic was a totally professional outfit honest diligent just an overall great business Missoula is lucky to have this mechanic shop.
Always quick to get the job done. Very upfront and honest. I would definitely recommend them.
Wonderful, local family owned shop. Cute office dogs to greet you. Reasonable price and super fast. Love them!
Trustworthy, honest, helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend Automotive Clinic.
The best place ever they rock. They always try and get my car done asap and have gone the extra mile for us. Exclent service the car and van etc are always running great when they are done. customer service is wonderful also. Thanks for the excellent service!!!!!!
Best mechanics around! Brian always does Top notch work! Im always going back there if possible.
These guys are great! Not only did they quote me a fair price, they had the work done quickly. I cannot tell you how hard it is to find a mechanic that doesnt try to bilk women. Well I found them! Recommending to all my lady friends♡
Ive been a 10 year client of Brian & Edna. They are responsive, always have a turn around done in basically 24 hours no matter the job and are half the price of the big dealerships. They explain the work in simple terms as well. I would recommend them for all your mechanic needs.
Took my truck in with what I thought were CV joint issues. They were able to get me in, diagnose the truck, and call me back within three hours. They found the wheel bearing was toast and were able to have it replaced and the truck back on the road in less than 24 hrs from when I dropped it off. They charged me extremely fairly, quite a bit less than the average wheel bearing replacement. Great local independent shop that I will trust taking my automobiles to in the future. Thanks guys!
Have used these guys for the past year and I am thoroughly impressed with their service and rates
I was considering buying a high-mileage vehicle from a private seller, and Automotive Clinic gave it a thorough inspection, same-day, for a reasonable price. Spending $42 here saved me five grand on a truck that looked good but wasnt so hot. Im glad I called them.
I’ve been having trouble with my car dying and then sometimes not starting. I finally got it in to get it looked at. They could not get my car to misbehave, not even once! They did clean the throttle plate and only charged me for a half hour labor. They could have done maintenance that didn’t really need to be done but they didn’t. They are super honest and pleasant to work with. I will definitely take my vehicle to Edna and Rodney again when it will misbehave!
I spent roughly 2.5 weeks dealing with this shop and it sure was frustrating. But I walked away a happy customer, planning on returning when I need more work and recommending them to friends and family. The story: One day, my car wouldnt start. I had the battery, alternator and starter checked and all worked fine. So Im thinking its the fuel pump. I call around to get quotes and these guys were the cheapest and actually the closest to me, very ideal. So I bring my car in and they spend a couple days testing it, realizing its not the fuel pump. I drive a Nissan Xterra, not the most straightforward of builds that can be difficult to diagnose/repair. Anyway, they diagnosed it as needing a new Relay Fuse Box. Installed, returned to me and again, could not get my car started. Back to the shop, another week or so of diagnosing - thinking its a wire somewhere not grounding - and finally... an answer. The ECM needs replaced - any time it gets cold, the car wont start, but warm it up with a hair dryer and BAM, starts right up. They were able to find a used one for $100 vs. $900 for a new one. Risky but could save a ton of money. Spent a couple more days trying to reprogram the used ECM with no luck and even brought it to another shop over the weekend to see if they could do the reprogramming, still nothing. At this point, I had already made an appointment with the Nissan dealership, thinking it needed an expert at this point and appointments were a week out anyway. Conclusion... took this used ECM to the dealership and they had it installed and reprogrammed within 2 hours. So this shop charged me the $470 for the initial Relay Fuse Box part and labor, spent another 2ish weeks diagnosing and getting me the affordable ECM deal, giving me the ECM to take to the dealership and even refunding me half of what the dealership charged to finish this whole process ($240 dealership cost is $120 as half refunded). This was the nicest, most honest shop Ive ever dealt with in 14 years of driving (Im only 29) and did their very best with this whole headache of a car repair. They even gave me rides to work and home a couple times! I cant even tell you how many hours they spent on my car in total, way too many that I was never even charged for.Highly, highly recommended. You wont find better people to work on your car!
Love working with Edna and Mark. They are helpful, quick to diagnose my problem and get it repaired do I am back on the road.
Just used once but I was Inpressed with the staff and fast service. My sister has used automotive clinic many times before and she likes them very much. I will go back to them when I has truck problems. Thanks guys.
I have been having Brian and the gang repair my vehicles for many years. They earned my respect the first time I took my car to them. Theyre excellent at diagnosing problems accurately, finding parts quickly and getting the repairs done immediately. One time I noticed them in on a Sunday (since they are in my neighborhood) and when I asked them about it they said, Yes, they did that occasionally in order to stay caught up. Wow, what great dedication in this day and age. I highly recommend them for your automotive repair needs.
Great automotive repair shop. Second generation business with fair prices and friendly professionals.
Brian and Edna Kallis own this shop and if theres a better, smarter, more experienced mechanic in western Montana than Brian I dont know who it is. Ive been dealing with him for over 15 years now. His knowledge of the automotive world is encyclopaedic and hes always been scrupulously honest and forthcoming with his customers and I dont think its necessary to comment on how rare that is.The Automotive Clinic may not be the cheapest shop in town for any given repair, but given the way they do things, barring something stupid like a brand new part failing, Brian, Edna and there crew will do to make sure your vehicle is fixed right and that youre safe on the road. And no, Brian and Edna didnt pay me to write this. They would never endorse anything with a word like encyclopaedic in it.
They don’t screw you on price. That’s hard to find
Always honest. Fast service
Reliable and affordable, nice ppl.
Fast and efficient. They also called and made sure all was working well
Their negligence of poorly inspecting my passengers side wheel hub assembly after a direct request to do so before a road trip caused my tire to almost snap off while driving down the road, causing my truck to catch fire outside of Portland. The fire department had to extinguish my truck which destroyed my front axle and melted my brake lines. Someone could have died. They refused to admit any wrongdoing. My kids could have been in my truck.
Car fixed for reasonable price.
Honest and trustworthy
