I was more than happy with my experience at Glass Doctor of Missoula. Steven was friendly, helpful, and professional. Their rates are very competitive. I paid almost half of what Safelite wanted to charge and for higher quality glass no doubt. I dropped my car off at 8:00 and he was done before 10:00. Hopefully Ill never need their services again, but if so, Ill definitely go back. Highly recommended. 👌 👍

Submitted a windshield replacement request through State Farm at 7am and got a phone call from Steven at 8:40am the same day. They just happened to have an opening at 1pm and had my car done by 2:30pm. Blazing fast service and a super friendly guy. I bought a new replacement windshield from Glass Doctor of Missoula as a gift for my girlfriend. When I went to pick it up, I noticed that the painted border around the windshield was scratched. I would consider that the same as getting a new paint job that has scratches on the finished product made by the painter. I brought the car back to girlfriend without pointing out the scratches. She only drives at night and a week later told me that there was shattered glass all over the interior of her car, that she only noticed the first time she drove during the day. How is this any way to run a business?

Ive used Glass Doctor two times now, and I have been impressed both times. The first time was a rear panel window, not a simple replacement. They did an awesome job, even cleaned up the old shattered glass in the back of my car. Great place, awesome work.

I worked with Steven in July regarding replacing 2 awning windows and 2 garage door glass panes. We ordered the windows on 7/23/20. When we last spoke on 7/30/20, he stated he would stop by the following week to install the garage door glass panes, and that the 2 awning windows should be ready by mid-August.As of 8/25/20, the garage panes have not been replaced, and I have yet to receive any callback or follow up regarding the window and glass pane installation.Over the past 3 weeks, I have contacted Glass doctor 7 times by phone, and once by email, leaving messages each time with either Kevin or John requesting a follow up regarding the window installation. My last phone conversation was on 8/21/20 with John, and he stated he would have someone follow up with me by the end of the business day.It is now 8/25/20, and I have yet to receive any callback or follow up from this company regarding the window installation.I will update this review if I get any response from this company. What a frustrating and disappointing experience it has been so far!**Review updateI went to the Glass Doctor shop in person 1 week after writing this review. I spoke with Steven, who was able to schedule an appointment to get the windows installed. He said had been out of town the past week, which was why no one from the company got back to me. WOW!!! Amazing service. I was recently rear ended by a city snow plow and the end result, was luckily just a shattered rear window. While waiting for the police and city people I called The Glass Doctor not expecting them to have a rear window for my Jeep Renegade, with all the perks, in stock, but to my surprise they did. After talking with people from the city and getting the run around basically stating I would have to pay for it out of pocket and they would reimburse me eventually, maybe. Glass Doctor told me to come over right then and we would call them together. I drove over and He (Steve I Believe), apologize if that is in correct, did all the leg work and argued on my behalf as they tried to delay the process for weeks. He firmly said I am not going to make him wait during the winter, when he lives out of town and proceeded to fix my window within an hour or so, before they even approved it, which eventually happened only due to his persistence and determination. Thank you Sir and happy holidays to you, the staff and all your family. I highly recommend these guys for window work, auto or home, as I will be sure to use them in the near future.as well. Glass Doctor is very efficient in all they do! I had a rock chip my windshield, and they were able to get me taken care of within a couple hours from when the actual accident occurred. Very polite and professional when I was talking to customer service. Quick and precise when doing the repair, and the windshield is in great condition to this day! Just outside of Superior, a bird flew into our car and completely shattered the windshield. We were referred to Steven at Glass Doctor in Missoula, and he was awesome! The car was fixed same day within 2 hours, and we were back on the road. He even recommended a few lunch spots while we waited. So glad we went with this shop.

They were a no-show for a scheduled time to get an estimate on home window repair. I tried to reach out via the website multiple times, no response to estimate requests there. I called a few weeks later, explained the no-show, I was told the manager would call me right back. That was days ago. They might do a good job, if they are in the mood.

My windshield had many chips in it that were small, but worrisome. I didnt want to pay for something that wasnt a big deal, but I also didnt want them to become worse so I took my vehicle in to get a quick look and a professional opinion. I chose to take my vehicle to Glass Doctor based off of positive word of mouth. I was very impressed with the courteous, fast, efficient and high quality service I received. From the moment I walked in the door I was met with friendly and accommodating assistance. The staff took the time to check my windshield very thoroughly, and explain what needed/not needed to be done for each chip before any process was started. I did not feel pressured in anyway and I felt that the staff really took the costumer into account and worked to meet my specific needs. I was running late to an appointment and they made sure I made it on time! Called for a estimate. I wasnt sure how much the job was going to be. I was potentially going to get all of the windows done at once, depending on the price. I really needed to get one window done especially because it was broken. They had the guy come out and never received a call back. The customer shouldnt have to chase the business. The business should want to provide the service.

We wanted to replace a windshield while in town and started to call around. The phone number of one auto glass place looked like a local number but it rang through to a call center that was awkward and difficult to deal with. We called Glass Doctor, had an immediate answer from a friendly, knowledgeable guy in the shop, and they got us in and out that morning. Jim Evans saw that my side mirror on my car was dangling by a wire, then insisted I come to his shop for him to replace it. They were fantastic! Well, not good. Let me first state that the folks I talked to on the phone -- while leaving multiple messages -- were very kind and professional. Yet Stephen, who had come by my house to look at my glass problem, essentially stone-walled me after that visit. Im not sure, but Im guessing I left 8-9 messages for him afterwards. I finally caught him in the office today, and after discussing why they couldnt have helped sooner (I think not quite two weeks,) I felt talked down to and, for my final question, I asked him why he never bothered to respond to the multiple messages I had left. I asked As a local business owner, why would you not respond to my messages to call me? After a long pause, he answered, I just didnt.Moral of the story, avoid this place. I heartily recommend Montana Glass instead.

Purchased a custom shower door (and two glass walls) which we installed ourselves. The sales man was very helpful along all steps in the ordering/install proccess. He made helpful suggestions on what to order, how to measure properly for easy and seamless installation, as well as how to go about installing all panels for a professional finish but with no prior experience ourselves. Looks great and the project went very smoothly!

What an outstanding experience we had working with Glass Doctor. Bill Coate was our service technician and he did an amazing job. The level of professionalism and customer service was top notch. We called on a Monday and were able to get in the very next day. The quality of workmanship was outstanding and the amount of time required out of our day was minimal. On May 5, 2018, we had a frameless shower door installed. We have not been happy with the 1/2 inch gap between the door and the stationary panel as too much water leaves the shower enclosure.We have placed many calls to Steve, the owner, and he has not returned our calls nor made any attempt to correct the problem. He’s the one who measured the opening. His customer service is horrible and I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.

Called in to get a quote and it beat everyone else in town and got me in the same day. Great service and will be going there for all my windshield replacements. Thanks

The windshield on my 08 VW Passat was full of rock chips so I took it in to the guys there at glass doctor and they installed a new windshield quickly and perfectly. Also a great breakage warranty, they will fix any rock chips i get for free for a year. Professional installation, quality people.

Had my ws replaced a few years ago, and the service was incredible! They got me taken care of at my apartment, were professional, clean, and very helpful.; I got a rock chip on that same ws about 9 months ago and its held up great with no problems. Id recommend Glass Doctor to anyone and everyone!

Was able to get my cracked windshield replaced very quickly. Gentleman was reasonably nice on phone, and the next morning in person, and have had very good service in the past.Windshield looks alright; its new! The weather striping could have been better. Some extra goop here and there, and the stripping in the top corners looks pulled too tight, and doesnt seal.But worst of all, there are now several scratches . gouges in the dash. :( Probably wont be fixed completely without a replacement dash. Probably wont be visiting this shop again.

Needed a new windshield for my 2003 Infinity G35. I called Safelite first for a quote, and called Glass Doctor because of the great Google reviews. Glass Doctor was $100 cheaper than Safelite, they got me in next day (Safelite was about a week out for installation), and took them about 2 hours to install a brand new windshield. The windshield quality looks just like the windshield from a brand new car. These guys are hands down the best in Missoula.

They windshield looks nice but that is the only thing they did right. They left a glue thumbprint on the rearview mirror. They knew I was in town from a ways out and on foot, it was supposed to take 2 hours or a little more, so I ran a couple of close errands while they changed it out and was back in just over 2 hours. They didnt take my phone number. When I got back, there was a lock and a note on their door that they were out on a mobile windshield change...They had parked the truck outside the shop and hadnt even bothered to try to lock it, despite the fact I had a tablet and laptop on it. They had my keys, so here I sit freezing my butt off, unable to warm up the truck or even get in touch with anyone who knows anything. Very very unhappy customer here. If they knew I was on foot and they were leaving for another job, they should have called me when they were finished to make sure I didnt have to just sit there all day.

Absolute worst service I have ever experienced. The owner Jim likes to tell people that its under new management, but honestly his management was my only experience and he and his entire team are extremely unprofessional. They installed my window improperly and have refused to fix their terrible job. Their service technician did even more damage to my vehicle by bending my door. Jim took me to a terrible body person in an attempt to repair what damage they caused and also did not fix the problem. Jim even went as far as to tell me that he is in an open relationship in attempt to hit on me. I will never refer this business to anyone. I believe this company is a team of unprofessional adolescence and will tell everyone i know to never come to this business because they are rude and disrespectful and they do a terrible job at their work. Take my advice and go somewhere else!

Terrible service. Set up an appointment 4 days in advance and was quoted a reasonable price. Receive a call at 8am THE DAY OF my scheduled appointment to just run it by me that my price will now be $85 more and it wont be able to get done until tomorrow. Umm no. You dont just run it by someone that they are paying nearly $100 more than originally promised, thats borderline scam artist practices. I set up my appointment for today because its the only day of the week Im not slaving away at work. Now thanks to the stoner university kids you insist on working your phones Ill be driving around in the rain for another week with a busted out window. THANKS GLASS DOCTOR!!
