We were staying at an RV Park in St. Regis and hit a deer one night. Our insurance recommended Mountain States for the repair, among some other body shops. We were extremely satisfied with the service we received. It exceeded our expectations on all levels. Mike and the lady at the front desk were so easy to work with. Our truck was repaired to “like new” condition and even cleaned inside and out.One of our challenges was to get to Missoula from St. Regis once the repair was completed. Mountain States even had a solution for that. Mike sent a driver our way to pick us up in St. Regis!If I ever needed a body shop again, I want to be near Missoula.

I had a small accident and went straight to Mountain State Collision because I had heard good things around town. The owner came out immediately to check out the damage and soon after it was in the garage. During the whole process they kept great communication with me about prices and how everything was going. This review is long past due. I took my car into them early November, due to the fact I got in a minor fender bender. They fixed it quickly and perfectly the first time. I have zero complaints. Less than a week later I ran over a big torn up tire in the middle of the road that I could not dodge in time. It messed up my headlight, I called them, they promptly ordered a new one and fixed it, plus they removed the black scuff on my front bumper from the tire I hit. So friendly and so pleasant to deal with. They were quick and time efficient and I was beyond pleased. I would suggest going here for any kind of accident. Thank you to the staff. ❤

When I discovered a 2-ft long scratch along the back door of my Subaru Outback (evidently a scratch-and-run), I was pretty sure repairing it would set me back over $500. Mountain States was absolutely amazing to work with when we got in a minor fender bender on vacation in Missoula. We didn’t know where to take our truck and it was recommended to take it to mountain states. We only had two days before we needed to be on the road again and towing our trailer home. They went out of their way to get our truck back in running condition so we would not have to leave our trailer here and travel the 7 hours home, then back, then home again! I highly recommend Mountain States to anyone! Their staff was friendly and courteous and Joe even met my husband at the tow trucking location to assess the damage first thing in the morning before we made our decision! I had the unfortunate event of having someone hit my 2018 car (wah wah) and these guys were able to get the parts in fast when other businesses were unable to get such new parts on order. These guys and gals are incredible! I got in a little fender bender in my baby (a 2003 Mach 1 Mustang). It made me sick to think she would never be the same. I was wrong! These guys did all the work with insurance, turned the car around in just a couple of days, and the quality of work is phenomenal! They even washed my car and cleaned the inside as well! I have had to have two repairs done on two different vehicles in the past year. Both of them rather rare vehicles, one Jaguar and one Land Rover. I am always apprehensive taking these cars to a normal shop, as they are different and require a bit of knowledge to work on them. (I usually do most mechanical maintenance myself) However Mountain States Collision is no ordinary shop. Both times I have required body work, and they have delivered beyond my expectations. The Jag looked better when I got it out of Mountain States than it did they day I bought it! There staff is very knowledgeable and very straight and honest with you. Even after the work was done, they were very responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns I have had, and even went out of their way to help me with another slight scrape I got just days after getting it out of the shop.If yo need any body work, and are in the Missoula Area, I would highly recommend Mountain States Collision. I will never go anywhere else.

Nobody wants the hassle of dealing with getting a car fixed from a wreck. Well, Joe and Tom at Mtn States made our situation so much easier to deal with. They took care of calling the rental agency, insurance adjuster and I was able to focus on more important things. They finished the vehicle in a timely manner and were right on budget as quoted. The repairmen at Mountain Collision are friendly, fair, and very capable. I could not believe how quickly they fixed my subarus front end. These guys are wonderful! The first time I got in a fender-bender, a guy working at Nissan gave me a list of the best three auto-body shops in Missoula, I asked him which one he would pick if his car was wrecked, and he recommended Mountain States! I brought my car in which was completely smashed in the rear end, they worked with the insurance company of the person who hit me, they gave me meticulous estimates of the cost it would take to fix it, and worked out times with me for me to come back in when I could use another vehicle. They did great work and fixed things that had been wrong with my car prior to the accident, just to help me out. I have been back several different times for little things wrong with my car, and they always fix them quickly for as little price as possible, even picking me up from my house when I couldnt get a ride to their shop. They are very thorough and really make sure your car is good to go before you take it out (but communicate with you thoroughly as well). I will always recommend them to anyone who has problems with their car in the future.
