Always friendly staff, decent knowledge on most firearms. Prices are what they are, a bit high, but in todays climate you cant really blame them.

My wife and I purchased a few pistols from Axmen Firearms a few months ago. I feel like the staff was super helpful and professional, and prices were reasonable. Will definitely go back to them next time we are in Missoula.

Purchased my first AR-15 from Axmen. The gentleman who helped me, Ian, was extremely knowledgeable and cordial in helping me browse products/making my final purchase. They have a phenomenal selection of guns and gear alike. I am sure I will be returning again soon.

I went in not knowing jack about hunting rifles. Gave a loose explanation of what game I was looking to hunt and my budget, and got sorted with a good fit on a new rifle and a used scope in no time. The super friendly and very knowledgeable staff was patient with my numerous questions and took the time to explain most everything I needed to know about my options. I felt like I was getting the same treatment as a dude that rolled up with a $5000 budget even though I said right up front that I was looking to spend a small fraction of that. All in all a very pleasant experience, I’d happily give Axmen my business again.

They are the most friendly gun store around. Employees have a passion for firearms and are extremely knowledgeable and kind. The paperwork goes by super quick too. It took me maybe eight minutes to fill put the paperwork and have the background check done. I bought a gun at cabelas around the same time and it took over an hour to purchase it. These guys are by far the best

As a hunter and a retired law enforcement officer I like to talk to someone who understands the gun and is easy to talk to without feeling any pressure to buy. They were very helpful to help me jump through the licensing hoops when I wanted to buy a silencer for my handgun. Friendly staff and good prices.

This is one of those places thats been around for a long time. You can tell when you walk in the door. The place is just packed with merchandise. You could probably spend a whole day just looking. You wont be disappointed.

Awesome people working here. They are very knowledgable and helpful for inexperienced or experienced customers. You wont get tricked or pressured into buying the wrong gun.

Great selection. I just wish they carried more used and antique firearms. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to help answer any questions you may have.

Bought my first AR 15 from them yesterday. They answered all my questions about it and even showed me how to clean it. I would recommend them to anyone. Will buy from them again. In my opinion they are better than Cabelas.

Is truly the best place in Montana to go. they have a knowledgeable staff and great prices. if you have any gun questions they can answer them even the ones that no one else in town knows. I will always go here first for any firearm Im going to buy they are honest and super knowledgeable they will work with you to find the firearm your looking for and fits what you need without trying to push a over priced firearm on you I have seen that happen before at other gun shops but these guys are honest and only want to help.

This place is the best. Great selection, very friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable staff, and great prices on used guns. This is not your typical gun store. Most of my experiences at other places have included grumpy old rednecks behind the counter who look at and treat you like an idiot. They act like you couldnt know anything about guns because you are not them, and helping you is a hassle. But at Axmen Ive been greeted with a big smile by an older woman who showed me an incredible assault rifle. I love this place.

(great regardless of your experience level) Staff treat me like a boss no matter my budget. Have heard lots of other peps say the same thing. First visited the shop right years ago, looking to pick up a new self defense gun, w/ a $500 budget. This is not something to do on impulse or hastily. Axemen patiently helped me find the pistol that was right for me, never trying to upsell or manipulate me! That experience made me a loyal customer. Very large selection of firearms, ammunition, and accessories. Lots of experienced salespeople that always seem to enthusiastic to answer your questions and get you set up right. Prices are in line from what you expect at a gun shop with personal service, meaning that sure you can probably find it cheaper somewhere, but when something goes wrong with it or you have a question, that kid that just sold someone a pair of nikes and some vastly overpriced under armour underwear then just sold you your gun, ain’t gonna be able to help you!
