What a great shop and people also. My very old 1989 warrior RV needed tender living care and just about everything else too! And got exactly that. We took our Chinook motorhome for a propane leak issue. Its right here in Mission Viejo, which makes it convenient to where we live. Weve brought the RV here for other repairs as well. Really nice folks!

I have always been a fan of jaguars and their classic look. I recently purchased a 2007 XK with very low mileage. I was thrilled to find that year with less than 15K miles but was also concerned that I would need a great mechanic who would certify its fitness and take care of any repairs that were required. A friend recommended British Performance and they evaluated the car prior to purchase and have since serviced the car for ongoing maintenance. Their prices are fair, the service id of high quality and their overall attention to detail in finding both quality and cost effective solutions is valued. Great place to bring your new or classic JAG.

Definitely one of the best experiences I have had. Not only were they able to help me out they went above and beyond. Will be referring and bringing all my vehicles here. I trust this business more than I trust myself sometimes lol. Whether you have a small issue or big issue there is really nothing they cant help you with. If your thinking about getting any modifications or even repairs done definitely start by reaching out to them. Quality work with efficient timing. Not only do they care for your car but they care for you too. Like I mentioned, they go above and beyond to ensure you get back on the road in great condition.

I was looking for an alternative to the price gouging Newport Beach Land Rover (not to mention they had my car 3 days just to diagnose) and came across BP. They were easy to work with and A LOT less expensive. They diagnosed and completed the work in less time. I will definitely use them for all my repairs going forward. Thank you!

A friend (who owned a local garage for 30 years and knows which mechanics are trustworthy) recommended I bring my car to British Performance when the dealership I bought it from tried to charge me almost $30,000 to put in a new transmission. Im not a mechanic, but I know a transmission doesnt cost $30,000. The team at British Performance were able to replace my cars transmission for $6,500, which was a great price. British Performance not only saved me a ton of money, they were really honest and told me not to repair my cars eco-boost even though that would have made them more money. Most mechanics seem to try and take advantage of people, but Jeff and the team at British Performance were really honest and Id highly recommend them.

I was very pleased with the overall experience. I found them thru google and called them. David was very knowledgeable and pleasant on the phone. I took my Land Rover in for service. It was done in a timely manner. I recommend them to everyone that has a Land Rover Range Rover or jaguar.

I wish I could give zero stars. DO NOT GO HERE.The team here totally tried taking advantage of me. I was having issues with my 2006 Land Rover, which I had recently purchased from a private owner. As the new owner, I didn’t have a ton of knowledge on what the issue may have been. The British Performance team took this as an opportunity to try to make a killing off of me.I was told that after an hour of diagnostics there was NO WAY to narrow down the issues and that they would need me to authorize up to SIX MORE HOURS of work just to diagnose the vehicle at $150/hour. I may be new to my Land Rover, but I’m not naive. When I told them I wouldn’t be comfortable with them proceeding with the work, the secretary was very rude and abruptly told me to come get the vehicle. At pickup, Brian couldn’t produce any proof of the diagnostics they had supposedly ran. It was all a scam!I’m so glad I trusted my gut and went to British 4x4 Luxury Auto Repair locally instead. WOW - what a stark contrast in service! The guys at 4x4 not only provide amazing service, but are ETHICAL AND TRUSTWORTHY business owners.At British 4x4 Luxury Auto Repair, my Land Rover was diagnosed in less than two hours (at no cost to diagnose) and the work was completed same day. Duke was super transparent about the alternator issue and gave me very reasonable pricing on OEM parts. When I went to pick up my vehicle, not only did the vehicle run perfectly, but he went above and beyond by giving my vehicle a full detail and fixing an issue I was having with my electronic key (without me even asking). Also I wanted to mention he offered me a loaner vehicle for the day while my Rover was in the shop. I truly felt like Duke and his team treated me like family, and I couldn’t have asked for better service!This a stark contrast from the experience I had with British Performance Inc. shop just days prior. Again DO NOT GO HERE. I was totally taken advantage of, and I’m so happy I decided to take my business to British 4x4 instead.

BPI services my 15 year old Lazy Daze RV and truthfully, if it wasn’t for BPI, I wouldn’t be able to keep her safely going down the road. They service both my Ford engine and all the components of an RV from AC, levelers, backup camera, refrigerator, all electrical issues, and everything else. Each time i take my rig to be serviced I am pleased with the work that is done quickly and thoroughly. I highly recommend this business.

David is the new guy who replaced Jeff... I have to say the experience isnt quite the same as it used to be... Im sure the work is as good (Ive been a customer for 3 years) but the prices seem to be a little higher by the time you go out the door. I will shop around now...

I bought my used Jaguar XJ a month ago, and it had at least three error codes show up immediately. My mind was racing thinking I somehow bought a lemon. Jeff sat in my car and ran some diagnostics for ~30 minutes and charged me nothing. He suggested to do some cheap things first, reset my codes, and then take it from there. I’m happy to say the issue was minor and the codes are now gone.They also did my oil/filter change quickly and reasonably. I asked him to check my brakes as they were a little squeaky and not perfectly smooth. He said they still had plenty of life on them and that he wouldn’t recommend their replacement.I really like that they were not trying to upsell me on every little thing to make a buck. They are not alarmists that try to get you to replace everything every year or two. They really try to provide value to their customers. This makes me feel more confident in my choice to use them as my repair shop.Keep up the good work

I would like to thank everyone at British Performance for making a stressful situation more comforting. I reside in San Diego and have a 2012 Jaguar XFR which presented with symptoms of a time malfunction (timing chain tensioner). I initially took the vehicle to the Jaguar dealership which had the vehicle for two weeks, only to tell me that they will need $1000 to investigate the issue. Not approving of this service, my vehicle was then towed to a local independent shop where they keep the vehicle for another two weeks and still had a large fee for diagnosis. The problem was that this independent shop didn’t give me the confidence about tearing into my engine and then having “runaway” repair costs. I ultimately called British Performance for a 3rd opinion and spoke with David for not once but on five occasions to discuss what the probable issues that could exist. My car was then towed from San Diego to Mission Viejo to be put in the hands of Miguel. Miguel has been so communicative about each step of the inspection and repair process. He made me feel very confident in his repairs and went to extra lengths to ensure that the job was done with precision. In the end, I highly recommend British Performance and would recommend that anyone consider their services, no matter how far you live from their facility.

Not sure where my review went, but it looks like they redid their Google profile because they used to have way more reviews.Terrible mechanics. Charged us to replace an intake hose I personally inspected and found no issue with. Did not fix the actual issue, check engine light came right back. A reputable shop will show you the bad part. They could not produce it.Could not diagnose a simple suspension issue without me going to their shop, back to their lift and showing them the issue. Anyone shouldve found this problem within minutes of the car being off the ground.Sent the car out for an alignment and it came back with the steering wheel 15 degrees off.I wouldnt trust them to make a cup of tea.These are the kind of mechanics that make the industry look bad.
