Great work but it literally took an entire summer for them to frame one of my pieces back in 2011 (that they sent out to have framed?) Was not even offered a discount for coming there 3 times only to be told it was not in yet. :-(

Wonderful experience working with Charlene to find the right frame for an oversized piece. Very patient and had great suggestions to fit my desired aesthetic. Highly recommended and will be the first place I visit for future projects!

I use Sara and team for any and everything that is of value to me, and I would use no one else.I first used them for a small picture of my mother, who had recently passed away. The photo was sent to me from one of my moms friends. Even though the quality of the pic was not that good, the photo struck a nerve with me, and I wanted the framing to be special. Sara and team were very kind and thoughtful to me, realizing the emotional significance of the picture, and they delivered a beautiful piece that has a prominent place in my home.Since then, I have taken anything of value to them for framing (some examples below - please forgive the glare). I would recommend Mitrebox without question.

I had a great experience today. Convenient free parking in the back. Peaceful and beautiful shop. I had never chosen a mat or frame for a piece of art before, and Charlene was so patient and helpful! I know its going to turn out great-- Im so excited to pick up the final product in a couple of weeks.

Mitrebox always does a FANTASTIC job. Ive had several pieces framed here and the staff is always so patient and helpful with finding the perfect framing options. Theyve also been very helpful to me with other projects, like cutting glass for photo frames that have broke in the past.They also carry awesome cards, that include some local makers and other great gifts. Could not recommend these guys enough!!

The ladies are wonderful at helping picking out frames and matting. Loved the pre-made frames in the back offered at a lower price.

A great place to find local unique gifts. They have the best posters and a lot of beautiful jewelry. I always have the best service there as the employees are incredibly friendly. There are a few parking spots in the back of you are having trouble finding parking.

I have been coming to Mitrebox for 10 years now, since we moved to our downtown condo. They never fail to absolutely beautifully frame my family and travel photos. Cant imagine trusting anyone else with these treasures. I love the people, too, especially Sara and her dog. Local gem of a shop. Stop in. You wont be disappointed.

I brought in a painting here to be framed and they did a great job on the final product. Beyond that, however, they were engaged with me from the start of the process to ensure that the frame I picked would match well with the painting itself and its intended use. As someone who knows little about frames, this was extremely helpful!

A+ service and framing services. The owner couldnt be nicer or have a better design sense. She came to our house and helped us rearrange our current art. She then took the rest back to her shop and thoughtfully came up with ideas for us. Really great store and service.

Stopped in to check it out after walking by so many times. Glad I did. Great selection of small paintings and screen prints, birthday cards, and a lovely old black dog. Shop owner was welcoming and conversant and made the visit a welcome and fun experience. Gonna stop back with some prints I need some help framing properly.

What a cute little shop. The best cards in town. A little spendy for some items, but everything is custom and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I spent just over $5 here on a single card, but was treated like a valued customer even though I wasnt spending hundreds or thousands.

Mitrebox is a charming shop and a great presence in the neighborhood. Beyond that, the taste and judgment of its staff is unmatched anywhere in the Twin Cities. I am a happy repeat customer because Sara and her staff are able to use their artistic sensibilities to present me with options I never even considered. Have been getting my framing done here for over 10 years. Would not go anywhere else. Great service and great help when it comes to picking frames. Wonderful other things in the store especially their cards (birthday, thank you etc etc). Parking in the back and on the street with meters. Highly recommended.

I love Mitrebox! They frame all sizes and sorts of pictures. The prices are a little higher, being a boutique framing studio but if you have something special that you want a custom frame for, this is the place to go!
