I had a great experience with Alpha Print. Quick, straightforward communication via email. Competitive prices, fast turnaround, excellent quality product. Glad small print shops still exist. Happy to spend money here rather than a larger chain.

Overpriced....price of design is expensive and not fully clear...I was charged for something othershops would have done as a courtesy and pricing was not always clear.

I had to buy a math textbook here once. For $50, I got a plastic ring–bound collection of letter-size sheets with text seemingly printed from a bunch of JPEG files, judging by the fuzziness around the letters. The book was apparently produced by compiling LaTeX source to a PDF, so I dont know why it would be so hard to get sharper text…I mean, given the PDF, I could have made my own higher-quality copy for much less money in a computer lab on campus, though I would have had to bind it myself. I suppose this was still better than being forced to participate in the scam of buying full-price textbooks from publishers, but the product I received is not particularly professional.

Honestly, the best service Ive received in the cities from a printing company. They are small, but dont let that fool you. I reached out to numerous print shops around Minneapolis (big name companies) for quotes on save-the-dates and wedding invites, and it took all of them at least a week to get back to me. With Alpha Print I heard back within an hour of me sending an email. On top of that, they were able to get me a mock up the day of AND they also have a variety of printing and paper options - like vellum and linen - materials that other places didnt even have or were not willing to order. I ordered my save-the-dates, expecting at least a week for them to get done (since the other companies estimated that long), but they had mine done within 24 hours. Just amazing! Prices are unbeatable too. Will continue to use them for all of our wedding and future printing needs!

I went in to Alpha to get my graphic design senior thesis work printed and was very impressed with both their service and attention to detail. They worked with me to make sure my files printed as intended and were extremely patient with me having to re-do and re-send files multiple times. Would highly recommend visiting them for any printing needs if youre living in the Dinkytown area.

I came into the city for a presentation and picked Alpha because of their ratings. They were exceptional! Going out of their way to print and mount my presentation boards and delivering them to my hotel. Really great service and genuine, helpful people. Will definitively have then print everything when here to present to my clients.

I have used Alpha several times recently for relatively small jobs – all of which required special handling. They do great work, offer quick turnaround and are price-competitive. I have handled print jobs both via their website and by coming into the store. The store has completely new management, and they have substantially upgraded the physical space by remodeling the customer service area and making self-service PC work stations available for walk-in use. Going forward I will do all my printing work with them.

Seriously, the best print shop in the Midwest. You name it, they do it and do it right. Ive had plenty of prints Ive needed in a pinch and they always come through. The main guy here is a little weird buy hey, dude can print. Make sure you grab one of the coke classics when you stop it - its the kind in the glass bottle, gotta love it. Edit: the guy I referenced is Ben I think, not Charlie. Charlie is the owner and hes been in the printing industry for over 30 years!

I want to strongly recommend this print shop to everyone. I worked with Charlie (the owner) extensively where he helped me with custom packaging for my small business. The prices are competitive; the service is top-notch. I will certainly be returning here for any print jobs that I have.

Alpha Print recently came under new management/ownership. I do not have any experience with the previous owner, but the new owner is fantastic. Hes been updating the shop equipment, and has added a web site where you can upload your documents to be printed out. Its really convenient!

I did my business banners and table signs here and was impressed with the quality of the prints and the prices.

Picked up a course notes packet for Cryptology, the cashier was quick and friendly. I had to ask for a handwritten receipt to fill out my reimbursement request and there was no issue at all

They are so nice and they can get stuff done fast!! I am a repeat customer, they are better than any kinkos.
