I been customer 10yrs or so, never had any issues, people is always nice and friendly willing to help.
Went to get my new glasses. Checked in at the door. She handed them to me, I tried them on and that was it. I traveled bus and needed to use the rest room. Another employee was having a smoke break I caught him as he was going in and he pointed no public restroom! I said oh, I just got my new glasses ( Ive seen him there many times) he pointed again, I said, I dont think you understand Im not public, Im a customer (client-patient)(just came from HCMC which I was seen by 5 different professionals from a referral from them due to issues with my eyes) he said and shrugged sorry I dont make the rules! Ive been going there since 2009 and now live out in the suburbs I came back to support them and the neighborhood. Sorry Dr. Hansen, I will not be coming back. Am I too white to come in?
If I could do negative stars I most definitely would. I had such horrible experiences here that I’m lost for words. They treated me with the most disrespect and hostility I’ve ever endured from an establishment. The employees have no respect and no home training. The employee I recently had an altercation with was named Kar. I had asked her why she and her other coworkers were so hostile and rude and she responded “maybe you should go somewhere else, don’t come back here”. If you have dignity and self respect don’t go there. They don’t deserve anybody’s money with that kind of behavior.
7/09/2 4:12 pm. Idk the name of the guy who helped me but he was VERY helpful in helping me choose a frame! I am blind as a bat, so I cant even see how the frames look on me. I told him what size and style I was looking for. He helped me find the perfect pair that fit and suited my face. This is a great place to get glasses. The staff is super friendly and amazing.
A lot of very beautiful looking employees. It is very pleasant to consider them because of the closed door, you can not enter a healthy time until the designated time. The workers call several times to organize the reception from the doctor, but when you come, then in an hour of waiting you can find out what you need to go back in two weeks, then you may be able to get an inspection and glasses. The companys work is very poorly organized.
I love DR Hansen hes great and the older black gentleman. I have used them for a number of years and on Friday May 15th 2020. I was treated so rudely by a manager Carlos. I understand that we are in the mist of a pandemic but you still have to be respectful and treat people right. This was his second time talking to me in an out of order way/tone. I honestly believe this man is good at his job but forget whats words and tones to use at times. Long story short I had an inaccurate eye exam which resulted in me sending my glasses back twice because I could not see out of them properly. Both time he was very passive aggressive attitude about it like it was my fault. I was so offended by that I personally avoid going to pick up my order. on Friday I approach the building that was locked with no sign stating that so you had to wait for someone to open and let you in okay fine understandable but I called ahead so they knew I was coming after waiting for someone to open the door Carlos meet me at the door and commanded like i was his dog, You need to put your mask back on or I wouldnt be let into the building! I told him I took it of to talk clearly to him, he then commanded me let me see your hands and tried to spray them with an unlabeled chemical bottle like something you would use to clean with. I told him I have gloves all you had to say is can you put them on because some places dont want you wearing them so you never know but that whole experience was so unprofessional and could have went a better way I have heard multiple stories about how the employees are rude and disrespectful I even witnessed one of the Latina women down talking another employee Liz or Elizabeth while customers were around. This is a nice place I guess you have to catch them on the right day.
I have been coming to This Pearl Vision since I was little. In fact, this is where I got my very first glasses. Doctor Theodore L. Hansen has always done a great job, I never have had to come back to re-do an Eye Exam or anything. I had an appointment today, he said I could get my glasses tighten since they were really loose. I went to nick,who did a fantastic job at adjusting my glasses so I can see straight! Thank you Pearl Vision!
Dr Hansen is the best. He is very knowledgeable. Trust me I wouldn’t trust my eye to anyone other than Dr Hansen. Great Day!
Everyone there was great. I got what I wanted, twice. Great selection of frames. A bit of a problem with the people in St Cloud who fill their prescriptions and send them back. But I keep going back there. They do a fine job with what they have to work with.
Wonderful experience! First time using Medicaid to get a much needed exam and new glasses. The entire staff of opticians, receptionists, and frames specialists were respectful and helpful. They are a very busy office! Make sure you call to book your appointment ahead of time (I had to wait a month for the next available appointment). Glasses take 2 weeks to be ready.
This is the worst place ever, they have the worst costumer service ever.
I read that this Pearle Vision suffered damage during the wave of darkness that passed over our city in May/June 2020. Terrible that that happened to them as Pearle Vision is innocent in every way, shape, and, form. My wish for them is that they thrive and prosper for many years to come!

AMAZING customer service! I lost my glasses three days before leaving the country, with a ton of work to get done before I left and no way to see my computer screen without glasses. I called and talked to Theresa at this location, who was with me every step of the way. She met me at the counter when I walked in and I had new glasses in my hands within an hour of arriving at the store. Theresa wasted no time and was exactly who I needed in my time of panic. She was kind, attentive, knowledgeable and efficient. Thank you, Theresa! I love my new glasses! Youre a lifesaver!
Dr. Hansen and his staff went above and beyond. I wear gas permeables which are difficult and complicated and they worked so proactively to get me a good fit. The staff was incredibly patient when teaching my kid how to put in contacts, and they are very focused on and transparent about minimizing costs. Nearly all the staff is bilingual in English/Spanish and many speak Hmong and Somali. Welcoming and kind and helpful staff. Dr. Hansen clearly really cares.
Doctors are good but they have a poor customer service, years still the same
Staff seems very condescending and money driven for sure. Received my glasses but this time got the bifocals and they cause me problems. My third pair here and my last. Why? Because I wanted them fixed without bifocals. They wanted 60 dollars more because I passed time period to fix right. I cant recommended this place to anyone. Customer service is not a priority here at all so do not go here at any cost especially Veterans with a voucher.
Dr. Hansen and staff at Pearle Vision are friendly, helpful, courteous. I received an excellent refraction, and in depth eye exam. I recommend this Pearle Vision for your eye care needs.

Good quick exam. Once it came down to eye glass selection, I felt too much pressure and time constraint. Had to get out... Plus their prices are significantly higher that most others. Ill go for my follow up and to request my prescription but wont be returning for business.
The receptionist and management ( the short rollie pollie chic) is TERRIBLE. You the rest room before you go, the dont have one for PAYING customers.
Bad desk receptionist... Its 5people there at all yimes but none doing their job... You leave instructions and its ooo Im sorry, I didnt see the note... Been waiting for my glass and Ive left messages. Just to find out they been there three weeks... However the doctor is great... Do a better job representatives
Attempted to schedule an eye exam to an incompetent receptionist. Terrible customer service. Avoid at all costs, each pegarle vision is independently owned so send a message by taking your business elsewhere.
Dr Hansen was Great! My eye appt started right on time. Staff were knowledgable & helpful & found me the best price!
This review is based solely on the staff. The doctor is good and knowledgeable, however the rest of the business is run by rude, unknowledgable and unprofessional people. Communication is poor and an ability to present any decent sort of customer service is fallen by the wayside. I would recommend finding somewhere else.
Overall good customer service! Unfortunately, they tend to run behind on appointments and times. I am good about being on time, but always end up waiting for the actual appointment to start... 😞
I had an eye appt. yesterday and the dr. was so nice and the man helping me order my frames was awesome and i loved how easy it was. he was so sweet and helpful. cant wait for my reading glasses! thank you!
Impossible to get through by phone. Staff seemed very unprofessional and disconnected. Did not even fit or check fit of my glasses when I went to pick them up. Not enough staff to attend to customers. On top of that my prescription was way off. Could not see with new glasses. Will be returning for my money back.
Last October 2016 I tried to order contacts from here as I had my last exam there. I was told it had been over 2 years and would need a new exam which costs $45 when I ordered lenses. Today I called to order contacts and was told by the receptionist “your prescription is still good” then after I told her I wanted only one box she put me on hold and when she came back I was again told I “needed and exam because it had been over 2 years and it would cost $99”I went somewhere else and got an exam for $39 and 1 box for $50
They treated me with respect and professional care i will recommend pearle vision 100%
The manager was very rude young Spanish guy. He will interpret rules his own version. And not company rule. After i called the company and they told me wrong.
Great eye exam and nice frame selection in new store location. The staff was friendly and helpful from beginning to end.
All I wanted was to get cheap contacts from Walmart. However they changed their policy and I had to get exams for both contact and glasses... but, they didnt have any frames that I liked covered under my insurance. 😕. The girl helping me sugested I take my eyeglass prescription to Pearl.So glad I did. The staff was pleasant, professional and they didnt seemed to mind my only wanting frames.Thsnks again Pearl !
Got there in time the doctor didn’t even care to see me I literally am stumbling around needing a set of glasses or prescription worse unprofessional place ever! Save your time and energy and don’t go there !!!!
Awful service. I was a few minutes late for an appointment due to car trouble, and they sent me to the dreaded walk in area. Everyone there had been waiting a considerable time, and I proceeded to wait for over an hour before losing patience and leaving without having my SCHEDULED eye exam.Customer service is not a skill they learned in optometry school, and apparently they are too cheap to provide air conditioning for a packed waiting room.
There seems to be a lack of communication between the doctors, patients, and staff. One miscommunication between staff and doctor resulted in me having to come back a second time for them to complete the exam. A second miscommunication resulted in them misrepresenting the cost of services to me, quadrupling the final cost of my assessment.Overall: slow service (45 minute wait), inattentive staff, and dubious billing practices.Take your money elsewhere.
A lot of the staff is unfriendly and made me feel like i was annoying them. i had to come back twice in one day to pick up my glasses and then my contacts bc they failed to tell me that the contacts had come in the first time i went. i did ask if my contacts were there and and the guy at the counter looked at me as if i were an idiot and told me they werent there if i hadnt received a call yet. they also rush you to pick out frames. doctor Hansen is great though.
It couldve been better but its okay.
Optician exam was ok, but the rest of staff is shumbles at very least, possibly dishonnest and unprofessional: unclear and conflictual communcation with insurance, false publicity regarding second supposedly free pair of glasses, stuffy environment. I ended up having to wait a year to be able to get the pair of glasses I actually need. There must be other opticians in town.
Dr. Hanson was really great helped me out when I was under a time crunch
No one ever answers the phone, and I never get a phone call or a post card telling me that my glasses have arrived.

Not at all happy with my experience here. Doctors had no intention of taking a walk-in despite the fact the openly invite walk-ins. I felt they had no desire for my business. So, I am taking it elsewhere.
