On 03/03/2021, while looking for a WWII Army pistol belt, this web site appeared. I reviewed the two pistol belts they allegedly had for sale; put in all the info to buy; but never authorized the purchase. I purchased the belt from a different vendor. Vendor never confirmed the purchase nor provided me an order number, account number, or delivery method or estimated date. Heard nothing more. On/about 04/14/21, saw Historic Sales charge against my VISA for a pistol belt I never ordered. Called the vendor to cancel the item. Was told the item was in transit; could not be cancelled, but could be returned once I received it. I was proved an order number for the first time. Expected delivery was in a few weeks. 2nd call on 04/29/21 got the same response -- item was in transit. No further communication from vendor. 3rd call on 05/06/21 @9:10AM -- was told item was in New Brunswick, NJ & would take 4-5 days to deliver. Estimated delivery date was 05/10/21. No deliver received on that date or 3 days later. No explanation email or phone call from vendor. Believe alleged sale was a scam. Requested my VISA card issuer submit a charge back against the vendor. Ill never do business with nor recommend anyone have anything to do with Hostoric Sales aka Aviation Sales.
