So today was my first visit to Fairgrounds. I must say what a cute little coffee place. I loved the decor. It has a shabby Chic vibe. They have a great menu. I ordered the turkey sandwich which came with a bag of chips and it was pretty tasty. The staff there were very friendly and gave me excellent customer service. It was the perfect place to go on my lunch break in the North Loop. I highly recommend. I wanted to give a shout out to the folks behind the counter but I lost the napkin with their names on it 🀣🀣

Super cute place with a unique menu. My vietnamese coffee didnt taste of condensed milk much, but the caramel iced latte tasted amazing. You could really taste the depth of the bean roast and it was perfectly creamy. The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon, but staff was still quick and accommodating.

Fantastic place with a massive menu. Plenty of options in every category, including tea, which I appreciate. You can even get coffee/tea flights, like what? Also, the interior is bright, fresh, and colorful. If you can snag one of the swing seats at the bar, do it. Your inner child will thank you. (I do wish theyd put some kind of sun protection out on the patio seating, though. Gets real hot.)

Fairgrounds is a cool place with excellent coffee. Whenever people come to visit, I always like to take them here. I particularly like their mochas, rotating coffees, and their salted caramel cold brew. Im here multiple times a week (whoops!) and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is almost always busy, so important to plan ahead if youre in a time crunch or planning to stay at the shop. I love having this shop in walking distance, but I also felt it was worth the drive when I lived a half hour away. Its also a nice spot to grab a coffee, then explore the neighborhood or the river.

The food and coffee were good, but it just seems like a lot of waste is generated with all the plastic used here. We asked for the food to be for here and we got cups to go and the food was bagged to go. When I asked for a glass of water they gave it to me in a plastic cup and asked if I could get a regular glass since I didn’t want to waste another plastic cup.

Well made drinks, consistently! Place has a great and distinct atmosphere thats playful and doesnt feel sterile like some other shops nearby. Bakery items are good and they have plenty of unique drink options on the menu to mix things up. I regret passing this place so many times on my way to Starbucks, dont miss out because its a gem!

Fairgrounds Coffee & Tea has been a longstanding favorite coffee shop for me. There are sincerely so many things to list that I love, that I dont know where to start. Ill start with the basics: the coffee. They choose some of my favorite, US made coffee beans. Coming from Wisconsin, I love that they support Collectivo Coffee. I used to get their coffee subscription, but since having it at Fairgrounds, its easier for me to stop for a cup every so often here rather than waiting for it in the mail! Their other drink menu is made of fun, funky Elixirs that use teas like match and butterfly pea powder along side of traditional beverages like Vietnamese coffee made with condensed milk. On top of that, their food menu is healthy, light, and so refreshing.Did I mention they have swings at their coffee bar rather than stools?

With many coffee stops in Minneapolis, it can be hard to find one that stands out, but this is one of the best. From the moment I walked in, the decor was inviting, the space was well lit and there was plenty of room to move around. The atmosphere was comfortable yet unique, including the swings you could sit at around the coffee bar.The multitude of coffee and tea options made choices difficult, but every drink I tried I loved. I had an iced latte that was smooth and refreshing. I also tried a berry tea and the vosges coconut charcoal elixir, and both were excellent. The food was also delicious all-around. I had the bacon and egg sandwich, which was on a soft-yet-toasted English muffin, and the yolk was cooked perfectly where it spread across the sandwich just right. Highly recommend.

I wasn’t hungry when we first ordered, but I really wanted to try every single thing on the menu, but only ordered a soul detox drink. It was absolutely delicious, not that sweet. It did come with too much ice however, so there was less of a drink than I expected. All of the menu items sounded absolutely delicious, and very creative. They had quite a few interesting drinks, and food items that caught my attention. Also, I love the decor, particularly the swings that customers could sit on.

Yes, it’s a coffee house. But also serves well made small meals (we had lox and bagels, and avocado toast). And a variety of teas. And delicious pastries. And other stuff. It’s cafeteria style ordering but on the day we were there an attentive waitress stopped by our table, saw the order number, said, β€œWhat are you waiting for?” (It was a busy day and they were a little behind); my wife told her and she ran off, returning in a short minute with our dishes. All the staff were polite and helpful. This is going to be a huge North Loop hit.

Best chai I’ve ever tasted! We stopped in here with friends on Saturday after hearing them rave about it. The place was busier than I expected considering the pandemic, which says a lot about the place right off the bat. I ordered a mocha, which was excellent, and then I ordered the butter scotch chai. My God I’m in heaven! Other items that we ordered at our table were the Earl gray lavender tea, maple sweet potato latte, and an iced coffee. All were excellent, but that chai......We also ordered the lox platter and another breakfast sandwich, both were excellent. My husband really enjoyed the lox platter. There is no parking lot, so it’s on-street paid parking, but we didn’t have any trouble. This place is super adorable, and has easily become my favorite coffee shop.

Later in the day I got a ginger turmeric latte. Both times I ordered my drinks the lady was rude and unwelcoming. She was heavier set bangs and glasses. That was a negative aspect of my visit. Just had an attitude and was not friendly. I had A friend meet up with me and I asked her what her experience was with her and she said the same thing…Other then the service and spending $30 on a latte, tea, aΓ§aΓ bowl and having to pay for parking the atmosphere was great here and I’ll likely be back.

Tried out Fairgrounds on a rare weekday off work, and I was very impressed. The right mix of trendy, greenery, and vintage decor some shops go way over the top with. Fairgrounds is a refreshing spot. My coffee was delicious, and their vegan breakfast sandwich tasted fresh and incredible. Something that is worth going back for for sure. My only complaints was that the wifi was very slow, and the lack of electrical outlets In the space means that this isn’t really the kind of place you can setup shop and get work done for long periods of time. However with the delicious menu items and great decor (including the vintage Grateful Dead posters) you’re better off to bring a book or a friend and enjoy the company and conversation in the awesome space around you.

It was wonderful and unexpected, they were doing final training the day before their grand opening. It is Friday the 13th, and I stumbled across the place on my way back from My Jeweler. It originated in Chicago, with another storefront in Milwaukee, and Los Angeles. The place is absolutely Immaculate brand new and though people are brand new working there well trained well organized. Im excited about this place. They have a new and unique way of Brewing each cup of coffee individually. Ill have to check out the photos. But they have a cafe bar station for Gravity drip and a custom grinder. They serve food. They serve kombucha, and tea brand and exotic. The avocado toast isnt the best Ive ever had, but its definitely worth trying once because who doesnt love avocado toast?? If you are looking to take the perfect artsy Instagram shot, this is your place. They also have self serve Healing Ayurvedic copper drinking cups to put in still or sparkling water-- something you dont get at a lot of places. This place isnt cheap though. The avocado toast comes in around $9 and when you add a drink or other food it starts to add up. Definitely worth trying at least once though! We are really into fine Japanese green teas and matcha, and have high standards. This place was amazing. The service was so impressive - they not only answered all our questions with patience, they were excited to share samples with us of their nitro matcha and their chia matcha pudding. We got ceremonial grade matcha lattes because they were out of the imperial, and they were the best matcha lattes we have ever had. We were informed that there is another location in Chicago, And we will definitely be stopping there on our drive home to hopefully try the Imperial matcha!
